        The Labor party has delivered!

        • I got it during the Howard years…

          The duck?

          Nope, that was before www

        • @jv:

          Good on you mate!

As of 2018 Australia's internet speed lags behind Kenya and Kazakhstan.

Just wondering what 'fast' speed you get with your Howard era net :)

my "fast" internet makes your net look kind of slow

        • @jv:

          That is today's speed test
Post one from the Howard era, to show what you think was fast

        • @DarkLotus:

makes your net look kind of slow

I've tried, but I can't post comments that fast, so it makes no difference to me…

Post one from the Howard era,

          I was getting around 35Mbps then…

        • -1

          @jv:

Didn't ask for your speed back then.
Asked you to post a speedtest from back then

Either you can't read or comprehension is not your strong suit

In either case back in the Howard era, that speed must have been exclusive to you

        • @jv: My speed was like yours before i got 2 new routers , an updated one from my isp and a upgrade from my asus router , my new speed is wow ……. http://www.speedtest.net/result/7279178759 Ncable in geelong is my isp .

        • @Twodogs:
          Ncable?
          Never heard of that isp

  • I have 100mbps unlimited with Myrepublic for $59 a month, and had zero set up fee, and the modem charge was $1. This hardly seems like a bargain, and shitty as Myrepublic can be, I've at least heard of them before.

    • but if i cant get this price anymore… and no one can match it… you cant rule out other plans because they are more expensive then you plan that is not available any more

    • Errr I thought they jacked up all the prices even for existing customers? That’s what they sent me on my $60 gamer plan.

  • Hey Guys!

Clayton Here from Lightspeed Internet! Thank you @gingerale95 for posting our great deal in OzBargains!

I would gladly answer any questions you may have around the current deal we have on the NBN.

    Regards

    Clayton

  • Why, on the website, is the activation fee price in such minuscule text? In fact, it is the smallest text on the whole page. Makes it very easy to miss. Wreaks of poor information transparency.
