    • Can confirm cash rewards o lu registered the cash portion I paid on the iconic

  • Can the Catch gift cards be used to pay for the shipping cost as well?

    • +2

      Yes

  • Can movie card be used at event cinemas?

  • I can’t find catch gift cards at Woolworths Robina.

    • Call the store before going there…. some stores dont store them and some lazy to put them on display

  • Anyone know what the highest denomination card is for Purebaby?

  • +2

Just tried to purchase $500 worth of Iconic gift cards. 20 percent off not showing up on Woolworths system.
    Great start

    • did you end up getting it? i got the same answer. they were going to call IT. i left because i was running late for work.

      • Nope same situation.
left my number they would call when fixed.

    • Did the gift cards look like this?
      https://i.colnect.net/b/3273/083/Black.jpg

      • Nah different look.
        The one pictured in catalogue.

Ah okay yes must be a scanning issue.

Heads up to those who are buying Iconic gift cards, don't grab this one or similar, but only the one pictured in the catalogue.

Got caught up during the December promotion wondering why the discount wasn't applying :)

  • Went to Woolies. Item not scanning with discount. They have to call IT. :(

Successfully got the GCs I wanted, Thanks OP :)

Findings: 1, Other GCs such as DJ, HOYTS, WITCHERY etc. are also on a separate promo with bonus points besides those GCs this week. 2, Their staffs are too lazy separating as per denominations, so check $25 GC section if you are after Catch $50 GCs. I found a heap at a back of $25 line. Enjoy !!

  • Got the GCs. Got the NS. Happy. 😆

  • The Balmain store only has Gourmet cards. Seriously annoyed as the last time this offer was on they had Jo ebay cards. A very limited offer.

    I need Catch cards.

    • Neither Perth CBD (WA) store stocks Catch cards, either.

Their advice was "maybe suburban stores… ?"

      • I also checked both CBD stores first thing. Was so annoyed. I managed to get the last 2 at the Vic Park store and bought 7 at the Bentley store. Bentley still have a few left as of 10am.

  • I was able to purchase 4 x $50 The Iconic GCs at self-service checkout on the new style POS and paid with discounted eGift Cards.

The attendant did say "there's been issues activating would you like to come up to the service counter", I declined and asked if we could "give it a go" at self-service.

    Thanks nocure!

Cannot find any catch.com gift cards anywhere
I have tried the following stores:
    Calamvale North
    Sunnybank hills
    Sunnybank
    Garden city

    • Calamvale South?

You would think that if they are going to do an offer that they would go to the bother of stocking those cards somewhere.

    • Ha! It's the same BS with Woolworths Mobile Starter Kits.

  • Where are the gift cards kept in the store? I have never bought gift cards from woolies before, never saw a section for them. Are they close to the counters or like in the area where they sell cigarettes and have returns etc? the customer service area or are they actually in the store somewhere?

    • All of the above.

It's common for them to be in hinged displays on the sides of an aisle-end but they may also be at the Service Desk or some other random spot in the store.

It can be a bit 'Where's Wally' but staff will generally know the locations.

  • I just had my first time declined(you can select egif card but dcliend after card number input) at self checkout when I tried to paid DJ gift card with shift card. Staff read on-screen says it's not allowed, I said it's not Woolworths gift cards I'm trying to buy, store manager came and said to me buying any gift card with shift card's not allowed anymore.
It's the old fashione interface so doesn't need staff scsn their code when you buy gift card.
    I've never had issues before.

    • I think the issue, suprisingly, is with the old POS. It seems to enforce the T&C's while the new POS don't.

Tried self checkout using eGiftCard, eftpos said transaction not allowed. Assistant spent 20 mins on the phone to tech support to try and get it to work, they tried a bunch of things that didn’t work. In the end I gave up and just paid with my CC. Rip extra 5%. Got the NS. Thanks OP.

    • Interesting self checkout worked for me with egift card

    • New or old point of sale interface?

      • Wow, can’t say which pos interface for sure but it looked like the same one I’ve been used to for a while now so maybe old?

      • Not sure how to tell, sorry!

  • Could you use these to pay for a catch connect prepaid mobile service?

    i smell a stacking opportunity

    • No.

  • The manager checked stock around Sydney for catch and there doesn't seem to be many left anywhere. None near Lane Cove or Balmain anyway.

  • Hi all. Is this available at Woolworths Metro? Or only full sized stores?

Update! Just got an iPad from catch for 25% off :P
$440 ticket price, cost me $342 (with $10 remaining on my catch gift card)

    I bought a $500 Wish egift card online for 5% off ($475)

    Bought 9 x $50 Catch.Com.Au cards ($450) at Woolworths. All showed up as 20% off. $360
Self checkout aisle but the attendant helped me scan them all.

Selected egift card as my payment method (again with the attendant helping me find the right buttons for egift)

Paid with my $500 egift card.

Attendant checked all the receipts to make sure they'd loaded properly.

Went to catch.com.au and used all 9 gift cards in 1 transaction to buy an iPad.

    Confirmation email arrived from catch.
Super happy for the ozbargain advice!

    • So you can put 9 plus GCs in one transaction now.I remember it was capped at 5.

    • Keen to do this as well. But did they jack up the ticket price to $469 now?

  • Can't find catch giftcard in my local woolies. :(

  • Anyone know what the max number of gifts cards you can use on catch is?

    • I'm not sure but I used 9 x $50 to pay for a Nintendo Switch.

  • Is it possible to use multiple Catch gift cards online for high value items?

    • I used 9 x $50 to pay for a Nintendo Switch.

  • Stack the Gourmet gift card with the entertainment book. That's a lot of savings!

    • +1

How many restaurant are on both card?

  • I can confirm that using 8*$50 catch gift cards work on the website despite the policy stating a limit of 5 gift cards.

  • +1

I managed to speak with Catch today and they confirmed a change in their policy from max of 5 gift cards to a max of 10. They also confirmed gifts cards come in $100 and $500 but when speaking to Woolworths they only have $25 and $50.

  • Can confirm 10 gc's can be used on catch. I didn't have any more on me to try and interestingly it allowed the apply button to be clicked for further gc's to be added……so who knows what the limit is!
If using the e-gc's at Woolworths, you will need to buy the gc's at a 1plus store which have apparently had their computers upgraded.

  • Any Catch $50 GC available in Melbourne? I called a few places but all sold out

    • Same here, also looking for a Melbourne store, called up and couldn't find anything around Eastern suburbs.

  • Stock about 500 worthy catch cards. Still 25*20 cards on display from Tassie Woolie. If anyone needs some just let me know.

  • catch gift cards got ozbargained BAH!!. I went to 7 different woolies over thursday, friday and saturday last week and no cigar. Some of the staff said, people would rock up and walk out with the whole batch.

  • IF woolies runs out of gift cards for a particular store, i presume they dont really end up restocking it for a while? as in it wouldnt be restocked in a couple of days?

  • Anybody knows where can I get Catch GC near Sydney Central station. I have tried town hall, central park and haymarket Woolies and no luck

  • Thanks everyone I went a bit crazy on Iconic last night to update the old wardrobe.. $280 spent for a non discounted buy of $450. 2 belts, sunnies ,CK jeans, and a jacket!
