    IMPOSSIBRU

Just for people who are curious, I bought out all the wheeled black ones at my local store.
I've used them a LOT, they hold MASSIVE loads and bend, not crack. They're however about $5 each right now.

I can't speak for these $2.70 ones, but really, if you need to ask quality for $2.70… it'll hold stuff… and do it for some amount of time; so… I wouldn't hesitate really.

But I can personally speak for the $5 wheeled ones.

Club membership is not free. The joining fee is $5 and you get $10 in store credit. http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/clubplus

    • I missed it. Thanks for updates

    • So I can sign up now, activate, then use my $10 credit towards buying these?

      • +1

        yes

      • Yes, best to do sign up and activation before you go into store (as might take 30 minutes for activation to show on account) .
Then you wont have physical card yet, so just give phone number of new account started for them to go into your account :)

      • +4

        Yes…

… That's why SCA has 3x the population of Australia listed on its database.

  • +3

Even the normal price seems fairly low. Are they just going to crack and fall apart after a while?

    • probs

      • none of the 50 litre in mentone, and to get 10 delivered to St Kilda is $109 for delivery ….. no deal ……….

great price but if no stock for pickup it's more expensive than bunnings once you add delivery …..

  • +2

Anyone know what the quality is like? There aren't many reviews on the SCA site to draw a conclusion.

    • +6

I got one of these the other day, build quality is fantastic. Lid feels solid and because it doesn't have wheels the base is really sturdy. overall way better than the cheap clear plastic ones.

Thanks OP I can use this to store my life in now that it's fallen to pieces.

    • +9

At least you'll know where it is when you;re ready to pick up those pieces and rebuild a better, stronger life. :)

      (hope you are OK.)

      • +6

of course he's not, he forgot his socks

        • +1

          That's what worried me. :(

        • Maybe that's why he was getting cold feet

  • +1

Seems like an OK deal if you want to buy multiple items.
The tubs I usually get are 50L for $5.98 at Bunnings if you want to compare however the Bunnings ones have wheels.

    • also it is 50L

      • +1

So the 50L ones he said he gets from Bunnings are 50L?

  • +9

Try this link since they are all on sale.

Also some of the organisers and other storage items.

  • +1

Thanks OP.. You are not OZB Virgin anymore 😜

  • How many would I need to build a house with?

  • Thank you for posting this deal, much appreciated. :-)

  • Great prices, and they look almost identical to the 30L ones that were on sale for $3.50 at Officeworks (Keji brand) in April last year and the 50L for $5.98 in November last year and $5.50 in August 2016.

I bought some of the 30L ones and they are not too bad with regards to quality, great for storage in the garage but I took a couple camping and one was dropped and shattered.

    • I just got some 50L ones from OW yesterday, still $5.98.

  • +1

If you have much weight in them and try to lift in the middle the clips break off.
They go crazy twisty if you try to lift off centre.
I carry brewed beer in a milk crate and then transfer to these crates.

  • Nice. In the middle of doing a shed cleanup so these will come in handy

  • Out of stock Thomastown Vic.

    • 30L is still available at Thomastown VIC

  • Is this a new everyday price or a limited time promotion?

    • promotion for SCA members

  • 50L out of stock

  • don't forget 2.10% cash back with cashrewards.. heh

  • +1

    Why it's coming up with

    Qty 8X30LX$4.50 = $36.00
    Qty 1X$5.00 = $5.00

    Delivery to 2747 $59.95

    Total $100.95

  • Just signed up myself. No credit and is charging me full price and $59.95 postage just for 4. $77.95

  • +1

All out of stock in WA !!

    • LOL read my earlier post …. if you can't pickup, delivery kills it and it's no deal …..go to local bunnings instead and it's cheaper due to delivery cost ….they might as well have said $1 per tub, no local stock, and $9 per tub delivery ….

or like aliexpress "free" … just pay for postage …. $9 per tub.

      • I just placed an order to pickup at Midland….hopefully I don't get an OoS email tomorrow…

Is this also in store price? Sometimes when they have these kinda bargains the website says no stock but when you go in store there is stock…

  • +1

Dump everything you've ozbargained into these and keep stacking to see how long it takes to get onto hoarders or become homeless due to spacial issues!

  • Ugh, placed an order because it says there's in stock and now they've cancelled it… hoping to get back the $10 credit

  • Popped into my local store (Hectorville SA) not long after this was posted, basically none in SA (1 or 2 here and there but the dude suggested they're probably broken and the boss probably hasn't written it off yet)

  • Wow these are seriously cheapppp perfect for throwing my tools in there

  • +1

    13 pieces for $7.79
    Contains: 1x 11.5L, 4x 1.6L, 8x 400mL

  • Time to build a cloning machine

  • Delivery is like $20….no pickup available for me on canberra

    • I tried to order 10 containers - delivery cost to the Gold Coast was a whopping $140 (for $33 worth of product - $173 delivered).

I decided to order 6 of the more expensive 45L roller bins with local pickup instead.
