iPhone X 64GB $1446.23 + 2000 QFF Points @ Qantas Store

160

Credit to Easternculture and dowey's previous post regarding headphones.

If you slide the points + pay ruler to use the minimum points, *which is 2000 QFF points, the +pay section is only $1446.23 delivered, which is close to the lowest ever Aus stock Iphone X 64gb price for both grey and silver.

Guess the same could be applied to any Apple product on the Qantas Store until their sale ends?

*Edit, same can be done to other apple devices as its a 10% off sale. For eg. Iphone 8 is $987.55 + 2000 QFF (this isn't awful but not the best price it has been

$1400+ is the lowest ever Aus price? Dammmmm that's a lot of money

    • Didn't say I'd buy it, but if someone was looking for one outright, not the worst price

Somehow I think Oznottheworstprice wouldn’t be as popular as ozbargain

    • Looks like $1133 was the cheapest grey import.
      $1332 at Allphones.

  • Are you completely disregarding any value of the Qantas point when saying its the lowest price ever? 2000 points isn't very much admittedly but it does have a value…

I'm asking because I'm curious around the value of QFF points. I was going to get the AirPods for 40000 points, but realised thats 1/3 of a return flight to USA from Perth… and thought that would be the better purchase…

      At a rate of 1.3 c/p it's almost negligible ($26)

I bought airpods with 30k QFF when it was on clickfrenzy weeks ago though still haven't received the delivery yet. I think 30k QFF is still worth buying.

No, it's not. You got ripped off by Qantas.

        • I don't think so, given I ripped off ANZ QFF black credit card with bonus 75k and I have nowhere to spend qff otherwise it'd stay in qantas account for long. Am I happy? Yes and that's it.

          @hyunjun24:

You don't get to decide if you got ripped off or not, the market does. The fact that 30k QFF points is worth $360 on the classifieds says you got ripped off. Whether you're happy or not is irrelevant.

        • @nurries:

Guess some people value them at $360. I'd value them at 1:1 so $300. Hjun might value them at $250 (the airpods). Each their own i guess

      • So you paid $390 worth of points that you received as part of a spending incentive program which causes the users to lose more money than if they were not using the payment method.

        OK.

        Didn't I just see Airpods on OzB for $230 … ?

        • Pretty sure I’ve seen them a fraction under $200 more than once.

    • Good luck trying to find classic rewards in J class to the states, and even if you find a economy ticket, the taxes on them would make it cheaper sometimes to just buy a sale economy ticket.
