  • Let's see if there are any good deals. I'll cast my vote when I can see the savings :)

Hoping for (another) good Xbox One S deal.

  • +2

click a link and it just goes back to the home page, though they would let us see what they are going to have.

    • -8

Yeah, and when you click surface it says "deal has ended." The deal starts tomorrow so we'll see then.

Edit: I accidentally downvoted, I can't seem to undo it on mobile - sorry about that D:

      • +3

Click votes at the top of the page, just under the title.

    • +2

Because it hasn't started yet, they don't publish the full landing page until the sale goes live.

      • +6

I didn't read the terms, I was dumb

  • +2

Assuming that they don't price jack, $240 for Xbox One S 500GB "Starter Bundle" is a great deal: eBay link

    • Would the $240 make it the cheapest price it's ever been sold at?

      • Some Aldi had the Froza Horizon 3 bundle for $199.

      • As @wtfnodeal said, it's been sold with FH3 for $199 before over here

        • Also 1tb Minecraft bundle was $219 at Amazon a while back

      6th Gen processors

      • Ahhh thank you very much. I nearly pulled the trigger before seeing your post. Cheers.

    • +1

Microsoft certainly did some shady stuff in their heyday, but price jacking seems a little too bush league for them.

    • Vive is still the same but applying the code gives me: "This code can't be applied to your order" so I don't think it's on the list

  • -1

    Here we go again

  • Where's jack?

    • +34

      I am here

      • +5

        Yep, me too.

        • +2

          Hit the road, Jack

        • @yaozy:

          and never come back.

    • Good call

  • 20% off a one X would be awesome.

    • +1

Pretty sure they don't sell the One X on their eBay store.

      • Yeah I haven't seen it. Would still be awesome.

  • +2

How does this get to the front page when we don't even know what the "selected items" are yet?

    • +17

      Votes.

      • +5

Thanks, I never knew how this "ozbargain" thing worked.

    • +3

      Baa Baaa

      • Moooo

    • +1

To be fair the MS store is decent about not price jacking.

    • +1

      Ozbargain = eBay marketing

  • does the surface book come with dgpu cannot find any relevant info

    • -1

If its cheap, it doesn't. The ones that you have to sell a kidney for have a dGPU.

    • +1

Look for the ones that states performance base

  • i7 gen 7 or gen8?

    • It's gen 6 I'm afraid for Microsoft Surface Books.

      • Yeah, quite disappointing. I guess there was a reason they're so discounted :(

      • You don't recommend them even if they have the performance base?

  • +1

This could be good but I have to laugh at them still having the hp elite x3 windows phone up there for over $1000 still

  • +1

"The event has ended" wtf? Its 7:30am!

    • +1

I checked it at 0100 in the morning. There was nothing there at the time.

      • +1

This offer commences at 10.00 (AEST) on 28 May 2018 and ends at 23.59 (AEST) on 31 May 2018 (“Offer Period”).

  • +1

Nothing's coming up in the sale..

    • +2

Maybe because it hasn't started yet.

    • 10am bro like usual. Welcome to ozb & ebay sales.

  • +1

Considering you can get a 8th gen i7 with 512GB SSD from DELL for about $1400, the surfaces will have to be a tonne cheaper than that to warrant buying.

    DELL link here:https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-Inspiron-13-5000-2-in-1-8th-Gen-Core-i7-8550U-16GB-RAM-512GB-SSD-Win10-NEW-/322798069209?hash=item4b2843a5d9

(I totally get that the surface has a nicer screen, has a pen, etc, but that 6th gen cpu (8th gen has four cores! 6th gen has 2) is going to slow things down)

    • +2

Battery life and build is also gonna be much better on a Surface than an Inspiron. The closer Dell comparison would be the XPS 13 2-in-1.

  • +2

Surface sale seems to be live now…

    https://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/microsoft-sale/microsoft-surface…

Well the devices are there. The code doesnt apply yet.

  • Bring the matebook x pro plzzzzz

  • XBOX?

They have XBOX, Starter pack with no games, good price $299?

  • +1

    No surface book 2 deal?

  • Deal live, got the Xbox One S for $239.20 with free delivery.

Cheapest 4k blu ray player i've found at the moment :)

  • Am I the only one who still can't see anything at 1pm??

Edit: never mind, I searched for it and it worked. Maybe because I'm on mobile?

  • Xbox controllers are still overpriced. Even with discount.
