    • +6

What.. tightarse is a man?? Oh..

      • +8

Tightarse is a tightarse, not gender specific. It's all the same to me.

Oh wait, that doesn't sound right….

        • +7

          That's prison talk!

        • +1

  • +5

Come on! I am looking to buy a 75" TV now.

  • +5

Of course it excludes TVs… sigh

  • Oh wow… I am going to get that Samsung… Hold on a second.. excludes TV :(

  • +23

No TVs?! What else do TGG even sell

    • +13

      TV's

      Wait…f**K

  • -8

Why no tv? Cause they think people wanna buy tvs to watch the corrupt cup?

    • Indeed, FIFA is a disgusting organisation.

      • Wait… could be talking about the NRL, AFL, cricket, horse racing…. shit, the only sport that isn’t affected by cheats is chess

        • +2

the only sport that isn’t affected by cheats is chess

          Whoops.

          https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheating_in_chess

        • +1

You seem to have no understanding of the FIFA situation. Comparing the AFL is ludicrous from what I know of the AFL which is an organisation whose role is to promote AFL and it spends most of it's money doing this.

I doubt cricket or rugby have the same disgusting record that FIFA does either. The only organisation that compares is the IOC.

        • @Diji1:

You seem to have no understanding of the FIFA situation

Having grown up in Europe, i beg to differ.
BTW, FIFA's job is to promote football, much like you state the AFL is.

  • Nice, time to get me a Dyson V10

    • Late 2019 is the right time to get a v10

      • Think the technology is too new?

  • but TGG eBay site not working now, how to check if they increase the price behind the scene

  • Is apple ipad included ? And do they offer click and collect? Thanks.

    • +1

i already checked, nope. they only listing iPad accessories on their eBay store

  • -4

Get ready for the Great TGG Jacking…

    • +15

Discounts apply to current listed eBay prices. The Good Guys will not increase the eBay price of any product that is part of the promotion on The Good Guys' eBay store from 7 days before the promotion until it finishes, unless the price increase occurs at the end of previously advertised promotional activity in catalogues or supplier-funded promotions.

      • +17

so, they wont join any promotion without any +7 days notice. got it

        • I think it means they can still increase/jack prices all they want when the 20% off begins as any previously lower prices would be 'promotional activities'.

      • -1

Not sure why you got negged so bad. It's evident the price jacking has already begun based on the comments below. The sheep will believe whatever they read when they're clearly being lied to

Edit: Ironic fail by me - accidentally negged when I meant to upvote

      • @nocure, Where did you get that text from? I can't find it anywhere in the T&C.

      • +1

Price for the Gopro Session 5 was jacked; had it in my cart at 10pm last night at $298, it's now $329 at 10:30am

        Link

Atleast the pricedrop on the Gopro 5 Black makes up for this ($398>$349)

        • Absolutely, I had it in my cart as well, same story.
Total BS, unless anyone can tell me what promo ended at 10 am today :(

    • They have already jacked some prices like the JBL Xtreme

    • They have never done it in the past unless one of the promotion ends for a product. Most of the time, their prices were same as their website or store.

  • +3

Pitty they have maxed the price out pricing on certain items, e.g. the Samsung HW-K950 Soundbar, after the 20% off in March was $1116, after this 20% off tomorrow its $1437 (unless they drop the price overnight).

  • Thanks OP!

  • +2

20% off still more expensive than Amazon on PS4 console. #一 jack ofx gg

  • +1

The one I've been waiting for :)

  • (profanity) yeah!

  • +3

Ughhhhhh… been waiting for the 20% off deals to grab a TV. FFS!

    • +4

      Yes?

      • +1

Hang on, you are short a good few h's. Imposter!

        • +1

          Oh no! I've been exposed!

  • Their Samsung S7 price is not bad if not jacked up tomorrow.

    • Good Guys don't price jack. Unless the items sell out, they will be there tomorrow with 20% off.

  • Its telling me i have used this code to many times ?? I havent bought anything yet

    • +1

      Oops its on 2moro

  • +4
    • Can’t load Optus app on non Optus fetch boxes.

      • See link above - it will be available on non Optus boxes by August.

        • Read it… and it’s about f[¥#$&$ time. I don’t get why it takes this long when they have made the damn firmware for Optus, iiNet, etc. makes me think if there’s an issue that it is idiots managing it,
But a reality check with fetch… deliver please.

  • +3

Got my eyes on a washing machine for a while now on the TGG eBay store, it has been $1245 except for the delivery has gone up from $45 to $75.84 (another type of PJ??). Will look again tomorrow.

    • +1

Wow. Pricejacking delivery. :) :). What will these companies do next. Hahahaha.

  • Arhhh, need to buy a new fridge / wash machine but only moving in July :(

Any idea how long they keep it in store when doing click & collect ?

    • +1

Depends on the store, mine was kept for 3 months. Better call your local store.

      • +1

        Waouh 3 months !

        Ok gonna check thanks !

        • +1

if you buy and dont pick up until july, what are they going to do? throw is out? I dont think so… go for it.

        • @FindMeADeal:
          Fair enough.

          Although called my local store.

Guy claimed they can only keep it for 1 week and half -_-.

        • @Jayjay93:

@Jayjay93 Did you eventually make any purchase?I'm in the same boat.I could only move in at the end of August.Called up two local stores. Both of them told me the longest they could keep the stock would be the end of June. They only have a small warehouse, blahblah. What a dilemma…

    • any deal on fridge you noted?

      • Hmm no idea so far.

        Didn't really check yet.

    • Generally 90 days. After 90 days they will retain the item and cancel the sale, so you get a refund.

      • Ok good to know :)

        Cheers !

  • +1

Price on a fridge I looked at was priced much higher….

  • +5

Surely you mob has bought everything that you need for two lifetimes by now… Surely…

  • TA goes BANG!

  • Ex only tvs? How about iPhones gift cards pc and consoles?

  • Any good dishwasher deals? Too lazy to search!
Been a hectic week at work!

    • XD5B14WH - $698. Available via TGG website, cant find it on ebay store

    • Bosch SMS66JI01A - approx $800 after discount. Can't figure out if this is last year's model though?

      https://www.bosch-home.com.au/productlist/dishwashers/freest…

      • looking for bosch dishwasher, seems good price for SMS66JI01A, but can't get review anywhere? is it new model? anyone can give thoughts on this model

    • +1

I almost bought the Bosch SMS40E08AU from GG last weekend for $659. It's now $799. It's a good thing GG don't price jack! It's $679 at JB.

      • Now that the eBay sale has ended the Bosch SMS40E08AU from the 'non price jacking' GG is $648!

    • Just ordered one SMS88TI01A

    • Also looking for a dishwasher. Not sure what the good brands are.
Hopefully someone can point a decent one in the $500-650 range.

  • +2

    Thanks OP.

  • +4

Didn't realise it is different for posting promo code and item deal posts (as per

Deals requiring coupon codes can only be posted on the day the coupon code becomes active.

So will just list some items here:

If the prices stay the same, and if the listings will remain, then they will probably be the cheapest prices for Australian Stock to date, after applying the 20% off code.

Free Click & Collect if your nearby stock has stock, otherwise delivery cost is showing up as $5.06 for me in NSW.

    Galaxy S9 64GB (SM-G960F), $956.80

    Black: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/123187319220
    Purple: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/123187319255

    Galaxy S9 Plus 64GB (SM-G965F), $1076.80

    Black: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/113057623078
    Purple: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/142831486888

    Galaxy S7 32GB (SM-G930F), $462.40
While the device is getting old now, but it is still quite a capable one in this price range for Australian stock.
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/123179891125

    • +6

The two S9 models also have a $100 cashback offer which makes them a decent deal.

  • -4

    wats gud

    • +19

The correct spelling of words is good.

    • +4

      The Gud Guys are good.

  • Does anyone know whether cashback promos are still valid if I purchase through their ebay store?
I'm looking to purchase an air conditioner that has a $200 cashback offer on the TGG website but no mention on their ebay listing. I read the cashback T&Cs and it just says I need to submit a tax invoice to get the cashback.

    • You'll get a tax invoice from them with eBay purchases, so most likely. Just pick click and collect to be 100%? No difference then.

    • Yup, I bought a TV last year from the ebay store, and they sent me a separate TGG invoice

    • I just submitted the docket number off the goodguys email and it went through. The docket shows full price and come direct from the good guys.

  • +2

    Boourns for them excluding TVs.

  • Awsome TA great timing for me!

  • thanks OP!

  • -2

I'm getting ' entered code too many Times'

    • Try tomorrow? 😂

    • Starts tomorrow ol' mate.

      • Lol. Oops :/. (Thanks)

    • +2

Do not try this code in Amazon 😂

  • +1

Excludes TVs…. Major let down for me :(

  • Gonna get a Dyson hairdryer thanks TA!

    • Can't see them on their Ebay page

  • +2

Had my eyes on a power bank, it went up by $40~ Was wondering why, now I know. Jacked. :(

  • ive been waiting a long time for this 20% off deal from gg!

but its weird that the item im after shows no stock in 2 of my local stores… but they have had stock for the past few weeks that ive been in there, unless magically they have sold them all in the past week.

looks like ill have to travel 19kms to get one if they dont price jack. no biggy.

  • Lol this would be the perfect time for them to capitalise on the World Cup and sell alot of TVs, but no they specifically excluded it.

The clowns in the marketing department should be fired.

    • It's eBay that makes the exclusion list I think so ebay doesn't want to lose so much on such big ticket items

      • Discounts from one or more specific sellers are borne by those sellers. Discounts across all the sellers on Ebay are borne by Ebay.

    • Soccer isn't on free to air TV, right?

  • Thanks TA, superb!

  • Anyone know if we can buy the big items tomorrow and delay delivery up to 30 days?

    • +1

They couldn't change a name on the invoice so I doubt they can change delivery details bloody useless they are

  • darn, just bought my Logitech MK345 yesterday with 10% off.

  • -1

I bought something from tgg with ta's 11% off the other day using some ebay giftcards and PayPal.

Can i get a refund, then repurchase this? Or will I lose my ebay giftcard value?

  • +1

Damn, just bought a heater from them with the 10% code. Oh well.

    • +4

Hope you're not getting too heated up thinking about it :P

  • No Imacs? Xbox one x price looks decent at 520

  • I knew this would happen! Just spent 1500 on a dryer. Could I buy the same dryer and then return it using my original receipt?

    • It depends on if the amount you save is worth more to you than hassle of lugging a dryer around and returning it.

    • They have 30 days price protection

      • +1

That's for prices on the website no valid via a ebay discount code

        • It's also applicable for ebay purchases but they do price protection against competitors only.

    • If there is a serial number on the receipt or the online order, you will be in trouble.

  • Time for a new Imac - oh, wait… BZZZT.

  • Dyson V8 Animal for $479 seems pretty good, if they don't price jack before it starts.
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Dyson-164526-01-V8-Animal-Ha…

Not sure if it's worth an extra $240 for the V10.

    • Trying to debate this with myself too. I think I’m drawn to the v10’s better battery that’ll supposedly last longer

      • V10 is substantially larger in hand vac mode due to the longitudinal barrel - makes it harder inside tight places light a car.

The supposed 3 years life of the V8 is slightly worrying, however there are replacement batteries on ebay for about $100.

    • It's now $599. So still $479 with the 20% off…

  • -1

Why does no one sell Dyson Absolute+ in these deals? Always the Animal.

  • GG sell all their weber accessories on their eBay but not the webers themselves, well that sucks

  • Does anyone know if we can use GO Mastercard to do an interest free payment option through their ebay store? If so, how?

I'm interested with the Arlo Pro2 3cam kit which should be down to $879.2

  • +1

It's worth noting that for small items it may be cheaper to buy them at their website and skip the ebay discount. While the prices are the same the postage costs for individual items pile up for ebay purchases whilst they stay fixed direct from their store. I just bought 8 items (which were not available for clikncollect) for a total of $93. Shipping was $10 from the store site directly, $42 from ebay for the same items rendering the 20% off for these sorts of purchases pointless. I suspect they will not make any profit from some of the items as I often receive the items from multiple stores around the country running up postage costs for them.

  • good deal. thanks TA

  • Is there any difference between this:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Asus-FX503VD-DM087T-FX503-15…

    and this:

    https://www.retravision.com.au/asus-fx503vddm087t ?

Seems that the Good Guys sale would be about 20c more expensive than the Retravision regular price.

    • +1

It's the exact same model number, so it should be identical.

      • That's what I was thinking.

    • Same model. If you're doing TRS, though, the GG would come out significantly cheaper, additional 9% off $1999.

    • +1

      retravision is still in business?

  • Doesnt look like any computers

  • Xbox One X is $519.20 pickup tomorrow (assuming no price-increase overnight).

  • +1

    MX master 2s from 99 to 109 :(

    • MX Anywhere 2S also up to $79 from $69. Unacceptable.

  • Any logitech Harmony remote worth buying?

    • Yes the Logitech Harmony 650 is good.

  • -1

They've price jacked ahead of 7 days. I was about to buy a JBL Charge 3 from their ebay store a few weeks ago for $149 and now it's $199, so they'll be making even more money with this promotion.

    • +2

That's because the promotion ended last night, nothing to do with price jacking.

      • -1

what promotion? It was the retail price in response to other retailers. Office works right now is offering it for $144 retail plus you could use 10% ebay coupon

        • The catalogue promotion for JBL Charge 3 @ $149 that ended 14/6/18. Just buy it from Officeworks if it's cheaper there lol, TGG don't have an obligation to sell at what other businesses are selling at.

Dualshock 4 controllers are $49 in most of the big retailers currently, that doesn't stop EB Games from selling it for $59 does it?

        • +2

That 10% eBay coupon excludes Officeworks.

  • I want a French Door fridge, a 11kg Samsung washing machine, a microwave … by September. Should I wait for the next 20% sale guys?

    • +2

      yeah

    • Yeah yeah

    • Yeah.

    • I'm in the same situation. How often does TGG do 20% sale roughly?

  • Good timing, need a new clothes dryer. Bloody credit card is already maxed though!

    • +1

My local store says "not in stock" on ebay but "in stock" on their website, sigh…

  • Really hate to see "out of stock" after 16/06/2018 10.10 am..

  • Anyone think the PS4 pro will go on sale soon or 20% would be a good buy??

    • +1

20% off wouldn't be the worst, but do they even have it on their store?

      • Nah only the PS4 slim. Bummer, will wait for a good sale maybe Christmas or eofs

  • I am thinking of buying an air conditioner and on the Good Guys Website there is a $200 cashback, but the same air conditioner on the ebay site doesn't show this. Can someone please verify that if I go to pick it up in store I can get the cashback? Or is this too good to be true?

    • +1

If it is the exact same model when you buy it you get a Goodguys invoice which doenst say it was bought of Ebay goodguys and will be fine for cash back. I did it on a kelvinator split system and it was approved !

      • Well then I am a happy man!

        • +3

Yeah i got my split system 2.5kw from $650 with a 20% off ebay gg deal with a $100 cash back from the supplier and gld government rebate gave me $300 back couldnt of been happier :)

        • @solidussnake:

Is the kelvinator better than the mitsubishi heavy industry? Also how does installing and delivery work with online sales?

        • @ColdSnap: im not sure mate, but easiest way would be to order through ebay and select pickup instore. Then call up once they have processed the order and they will add the install abd delivery to the order. Hope that helps !

  • Anybody have any idea how it works with delivery and installation?

Hoping to order an aircon, delivered and installed….

    • would also like to know. May as well get now while winter than wait till summer

    • Check my reply to Coldsnap hope it helps :)

  • IF TGG is following this, please check your shipping prices. Im being charged individual shipping costs for every item i order, tho there are about 10 items in the cart

  • Why are people getting worked up about buying earlier with 10 or 11% off? Can you just return/cancel that purchase and buy again tomorrow??

  • Geeez they already jacked the price of the 65N7

    • +1

TVs aren't included in the sale

  • According to that link there is one laptop

Are they likely to add to the list or what's up is up

  • They are clearing a lot of ex-display small appliances in store.
I bought a small George Foreman grill today for $21 .

    Also JB-hifi are running out TV's like Sony 65inch x8500e for $2300 or 55inch for $1400 ,
probably better (price) if you walk in with cash.

  • Does anyone know whether JB would price match? I have a couple gift vouchers with them that I want to use. Looking at purchasing a Note 8. I had a look at their price match policy on their website but couldn't see anything saying they wouldn't.

    • they wont

  • Cant decide between the Dyson V8 or V10…..could I buy both to ensure I get the 20% off and return 1 (unopened) once I decide in store? I always get confused with these electronic store refund policies.

    • +2

Neither. Get a Miele for $350

  • +1

Told you Tightarse is an eBay bot from the future.

  • Do they still stock netgear Arlo?

  • I am looking for a decent soundbar. Doesn’t have to have a subwoofer. But I’ve never really looked into soundbars and don’t know which ones are good and which ones are not. I am looking at around $300 with good sound quality for its price. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • +1

Gear S3 Frontier $320 inc disc if they dont pricejack

  • I'm thinking about buying a new washing machine. If I buy through ebay, how will I arrange it so they will take my old machine away? I assume paying for delivery on ebay doesn't include removing the old machine. Anyone had experience with this?

    • Best to go in with your invoice and they will add on extra delivery cost for there premium service. the Ebay delivery is just a drop off to your front door.

      • Thanks for that! So just to clarify, select click n collect at closest TGG store?

        • I’d like to know this too. I just called my local store and they advised that there should be a premium delivery service option compared to the standard, which would include installation and removal of the old unit but I dont see anything like that up to the payment page.

  • Oh FFS I bought a JBL Flip 4 at TGG just today.

  • Harveys is selling Bosch SMS50E32AU for $1 more than the 20% off GG price…. Sounds like Jack has climbed that bean stalk big time

  • -4

When I try to apply the code to my order it says that the code has been used too many times :(

    • +4

      ?? not active till 10am

      • +1

        Better call ACCC!!111!1!1

  • thanks

  • Anyone got a good recommendation for a vacuum cleaner? Figured I'd get my mum one as her ones getting run down and old

    • Depends what you want.
Miele bagged is fantastic or if you need cordless, get a Dyson.

  • Anyone recommendations for toasters or rice cookers?

  • Some items have been removed from their listing. E.g. Dyson hairdryers

  • Damn they don't have the thing I wanted on their ebay store but it's on their own website :(

  • Does anyone know how often these sales take place? Need a washing machine in 3 months but wondering if it's likely to go on sale like this again

  • Can anyone confirm that the fujitsu air conditioners are applicable for the gift cards?

  • Anybody know in how many days should i collect the order for click and collect, i couldn't find out in there descriptions.
Can i request them to not prepare my order for a week?

    • +1

Hi there, I bought a washing machine a few weeks back from TGG eBay. They told me I had 90 days to collect.

  • -12

"! You've entered this code too many times"

Never bought anything from TGG before. GG, eBay, GG.

    • Starts 10am. Why the neg?

      • +4

Sorry TA. I'm trying to buy a coffee machine, because mine broke. I'm raging without the caffeine. Working 13 days straight with a 15 week old child

    • +2

      Aren't I a bloody idiot, starts 10am

      • Revoke your neg now or let the incoming negs to your comment invalidate your neg.

  • +1

Needs a new washing machine and dryer. Preferably 7kg - Any recommendations?

  • I was going to try my luck with attempting to use the code for a TV although it seems they literally unlisted their TVs.

  • keep getting
    error code 70049 70084
    wtf…

    • Yea same trying for Xbox Click n collect

    • Did you change your location to the US for the recent 20% SW promo? If not, jump on eBay chat. They'll sort it.

      • +1

        Na mate I didn’t. I’ll give the chat a go… cheers

        • Please report back as it may help others :)

          @tightarse:

The one store in metro Victoria with stock of the Xbox was Brighton for Click n collect. Although eBay was still showing stock available in other stores.
All good happy to drive a bit to save over $100
          Cheers

        • @tightarse:
Im having same issues, contacted Ebay via live chat, they said the error was 'The Good Guys' problem.
I checked with the store that I could select for Click and Collect, they said they had plenty of stock, I then got Ebay to ring me and they said there was an issue and they were trying to fix it, they also told me if the issue wasnt fixed, they will give me another code to use to get the same deal if it isnt fixed today.

      • never changed location.
        trying chat now.

        thx.

        • As above, please report back as it may help others :)

Store is out of stock. (although still displaying IN STOCK)
had to try another store and it worked.

          thx.

now i gotta travel 30kms to get it instead of 15km =-(
ah well, at least i saved $80

        • would like to also add, that before googling the error i had tried paying multiple times..
          ended up getting charged TWICE..
ebay chat said i wouldnt get charged as the payment didnt go through..

now im trying to fix the issue.

if anyone comes across this issue, dont pay more than once.

    • Yep got the same error with click and collect. Order went though ok when I paid for delivery.

  • I'm after a 3.5kW reverse cycle air conditioner. I tried several brands (Fujitsu, Panasonic, Rinnai) and none are available for pickup at any store within 150km. Are they updating stock levels?

  • Cheers TA, just got ~$40 off the JBL speaker I was after

  • Does good guys provide tax invoice for TRS claim if delivery option is selected?
S9 is not available in my local store pickup.

    • +1

Yes. Even better the invoice is for the full amount so you get more from the trs claim. I've done it almost every year

Price jacked on the nutribullet I wanted :(

Now is more expensive even with discount.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-NUTRIBULLET-NB9-0507-900W-PR…

    Today … $99
    31 May - 13 Jun … $77

    • Not jacked, but returned to normal price a few days ago as it was part of a previous catalogue sale. It's also $99 on their regular site.

The Good Guys will not increase the eBay price of any product that is part of the promotion on The Good Guys' eBay store from 7 days before the promotion until it finishes, unless the price increase occurs at the end of previously advertised promotional activity in catalogues or supplier-funded promotions.

      • You're right. The catalogue has it as $88 though.

  • Is it possible to get the same prices in local stores/online shop? I want to use a gift voucher I have for them, but don't think you can do that via eBay

  • +1

Brah, last night the WD my passport was 109, now the 20% off is on, they jacked the price up to 129. lol Pretty sure they did it to everything too.

    • +2

As above. Same price on their website.

    • +2

Pretty sure they did it to everything too.

It's just catalogue sales beginning and ending. Yesterday the GoPro Hero5 was $377 and now its $349, but I guess no one will give them credit for that.

      • There was no WD My Passport in the previous catalogue though.

but I guess no one will give them credit for that.

No, because they've explicitly guaranteed to not jack prices within 7 days.

  • -4

They pretty much price jacked everything.

    • +1

they reduced the gopro hero5 by $50 from yesterday

  • Do I have to wait for collection email or can I go there and pick the item up before that? It was showing in stock

    • you need to wait for the email

      • I dropped past and it hadn't been picked yet but my order was on the computer.
The girl just went and checked the store room then went and got it off the shelf.
        Marion store S.A. Great Service

  • If paying via Ebay gift cards purchased from Woolies (5% off), note the maximum limit per T&C:

No more than a total of $2000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per day, and no more than a total of $5000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per calendar month. Further, you may only redeem a maximum of eight Gift Cards in any single transaction (and fewer if you are redeeming Gift Cards in combination with other redemption codes, such as coupons or vouchers).

    • where/how can you get ebay gift cards 5% off from Woolies? (online + code or just in store?)

      • +1

Cashrewards or private for egift. In store for the eBay gcs

    • The limit of 8 is not enforced.

  • Anyone got a suggestion as to the best Laptop under $1000 in this sale?

    Thanks

  • Does anyone know why they don't offer to backorder items that are out of stock? Or why the store has stock (advised by salesperson in store this morning and via TGG website) but ebay store says the item (a fridge) is out of stock and insists on delivery option in checkout?? Can't opt for another store pickup as they're 2 hours away.

    • they have sales to clear out stock. Not give you discounts during non-promotional periods.

    • see my comment below

  • Love how all the HP laptops have been removed because they are already on sale via TGG website :(

    • buy from dell outlet

  • Good deal but the good guys click and collect system is a shitshow. It says it will be processed within 3 hours but its been at least double that the few times ive used it

    • Mine was supposed to be ready by 2pm..
Its now 6:30 and they are closed…
      Heres hoping for tomorrow eyy

Anyone have this happen to them ??

I am trying to purchase a chest freezer from their ebay store and the shipping cost would be $50, which negates the purpose of the sale !

So I plan to do a local click and collect instead.

I enter my postcode and surprise surprise, none of the stores local to me have any stock. I eventually end up checking most of Sydney and NO store has any stock of the freezer. Similar case with a different freezer model.

Then I go to Good Guys website itself and check store availability. Lo and behold, there is stock everywhere !
Freezers waiting to be sold in winter gathering dust in warehouses, but the eBay store showing as 'no stock'.

The Good Guys eBay store FAQ's mention that orders are fullfilled by store closest to customer. So if I had paid for shipping, it would be shipped to me from one of the warehouses showing 'no stock' on eBay.

If it is a genuine oversight, it should be fixed by the ebay message I just sent them.

If it is deliberate, an email will be sent to ebay.

    • I doubt it's oversight. Maybe only so many "reserved" at the price of the ebay store

      • +1

That should be stated in T&C's then, that there is a limited selection available under the promotion.
As per point 4. of the T&C's, the item I am trying to purchase is an eligible item.

I've had enough of these big (and small) retailers announcing big headline sales, but later many users find that there are 'unwritten' and 'other' ways that the retailer can prevent the use of the sale coupon.

ebay also ends up losing a sale that way.

Still waiting on a response from GG ebay regarding my above query.

@51ngh: I've +'d to even you out. I'm in the same situation… wanted a small GVA 80L freezer, and there's one store (100k's away) in the whole of Victoria with click-and-collect stock.. but after checking on their website, my local TGG has stock.

edit: and it's $50 delivery on TGG website, but $75 on eBay. Might look at Harvey.

  • Any microwave recommendations?

    • Yes, any $200-$300 LG one.

My LG appliances last for decade+.
      I have like 10.

  • I want to choose the C&C option but I'm not available to pick up until 28/06. Would they keep my purchase until then?
    Thanks for any help.

    • Yes, you might get a phone call or two to remind you to collect.

    Bought this>>
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Sony-MDRXB50BSB-Extra-Bass-B…
….cheapest ever…. Bluetooth extra bass headset

    Comparing with BeatsX
Pro: Beats X has more clarity but less BASS than this.
Cons: its quite Chuncky to be wearing around the ears.

I bought this because a. im a bass head, and b. for fifty bucks…. i can buy 3 of these than 1 of beatsX.

  • Need a new Fridge and Washing Machine but might hold off to closer to EOFY for a better deal. Fingers crossed.

Why code is not working ?

  • Legend. HDMI DVD player for $24 delivered (JVC XV-Y430A).

  • Will good guys take away my old fridge?

  • Bummer, should have used this on the Samsung tablet rather than last weeks eBay 10% sitewide

  • Can you use the current ebay code PULL5 to get another 5% off?

    • +1

      Cant stack..

  • They increased the price of one of the Samsung bottom mount fridge by $50.

  • Grabbed the samsung tab a 10.1 16gb wifi for about $230 Happy days.

  • Does anyone know if I choose C&C now, but change my mind later on to delivery if I can call them up in-store to arrange? Happy to pay for the delivery fee in-store.

    • also interested in knowing this.

    • You had 3 full days to buy at the lower price with this promo :)

      • I was looking at the same fridge but because the price went up $50, I pulled out and bought a top mount LG fridge that was $838.

      • Your post indicates that Good Guys don't price jack.

However Looking at the Samsung Gear S3
        https://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidsLogin&ite…

They've been selling it for 399 for a long time, until the CURRENT 20% promo wen't live, then they jacked it from 399 up to 499.
As seen in the purchase history of the item, it was still 399 at least 6 days ago (27 June)

Your post says they don't price jack within 7 days of promo but this is proven false.
They've definitely price jacked this watch up for the current 20% promo. (not to be confused with the 20% promo of this deal)

        • You're incorrect, the pricing on the Samsung Gear S3 was $399 for EOFY until 1 July as per here, and then it expired. It was put up to RRP of $599, which Samsung now sells at and reverted last night to $499. That is not a price jack as EOFY sales for all companies ended, not just TGG.

Pricing at $399 was from 12 June - 30 June which indicates that it was part of the EOFY sale.
