  • Be careful with the ebay plus membership. I bought the 128gb microSD card at 10:10am today, but ebay still charged me the delivery cost. It took me more than one hour to call ebay customer service, and still haven't resolved it.

    • chat faster

    • I make sure what i have been charge everytime

  • Gosh luckily i resisted getting 64gb yesterday. Only want to get 2 but now today felt irresistible! Not for me though, will be a nice little pressie for someone…

Thanks Ebay and OP! Fingerscrossed not reduce again tomorrow lol

  • I am a ebay plus member and i've been charged $19.95 for shipping, does anyone else have the same issue?

    • What was the actual paid amount? My order summary says $14.95 for shipping from yesterday but my total paid amount was correct. Did you end up paying $31.95?

      • $51.95 total. While clicking confirm and pay the amount comes up as $32. But paypal summary shows 51.95

        • Damn that's really annoying, I'd get onto eBay live chat ASAP to try and rectify the issue.

        • chatting with them now.looks like they've got no clue, pretty useless.

        • @Hasslefree:

You're kidding, maybe a phone call like markwen might be worth it, I'm not even sure why they can't help!

        • +3

I had the same thing, apparently this charge is split and only $32 is charged to the paypal account, 19.95 is "Paid with eBay Plus discount". What a weird way to do it.

    • Yes, see my message in above. I am still talking to the account manager.

      • Use ebay chat in the app, much quicker to get through, but can't guarantee the outcome.

        • Thanks mate. I usually use the website from a computer. Your tips might be better. :)

        • +5

Just found that I was confused by the paypal transaction. The postage is actually paid by ebay plus account, not on me, but the total cost showing in paypal includes the postage, so it's very confusing. Wasted two hours on the phone with eBay staff, but they cannot explain what is happening. So nothing is wrong, it's just me misinterpreted the transaction in paypal. Hope it helps the other guys.

    • +2

Same but when i logged into paypal and looked at the break down of where the money came from it seemed to be counting an ebay discount as a payment source.
All of the ebay plus deals i've gotten so far have done this. Here's what it looks like to me

  • Can't resist the 64gb at this price!

  • People loving the 64gb - but i'd pay extra for the 128 for future proof.

    • i would save $8 with 2x64gb for redundancy especially considering the reliability of these cards

  • +1

    Thanks doweey!
    Got one 128.

  • After sell that many SD Cards can PC Byte deliver on time?
My delivery say's "Estimated between Thu. 28 Jun. and Fri. 29 Jun"

    • +1

Ordered on the weekend and it didnt get shipped today, They surely are gonna need to import some which means there is gonna be a lot at least a week over the estimated time

  • Out of stock now. Hope they get more.

    • +2

More were added pretty much instantly lol, surprising how many they are selling.

      • +1

Thank you. Ordered 3 straightaway thanks to your post. Logging into paypal is confusing as it looks like you have been charged for shipping (taken up by ebay plus discount), but my credit card statement shows the real amount of $12 a card.

  • Does anyone know if these will work xiaomi A119s dash cam?

    • Did you mean the VIOFO A119s, if so they will work.

      • Supposedly they break soon too as they're based on TLC memory instead of MLC… just what I've read. But at this price I'd go for Evo+

  • As per thread above, I have also been charged 19.95 for shipping (not shown on the order, but shown on paypal records)

  • Bought a 128gb for the Switch

    • Same here. Been putting it off for ages but $32 is too good to pass up.

    • Thinking of buying a switch. Would 64gbs be enough? What takes up 128gbs? Sorry very clueless with this stuff

      • I suggest to buy as big as you can get/afford. Just for the convenience of not having to switch sd cards. Or even forgetting an sdcard where your saved game is.

        • Save games are always on internal memory. Unless you mean downloaded games then yes I get what you mean.

  • Thanks OP, picked up 2 for pics in Japan!

  • Good price

  • +3

Thanks OP! For those interested in purposing this as a flash drive, I’d suggest grabbing one of these cheap USB 3.0 card readers for $3. Reviews seem good (actually achieves USB 3.0 speeds).

  • I to have been charged for delivery. I just bought 3 and have been charged $34.95 delivery

  • I've bought like 3 128gb & 6 64gb this weekend due to price changes. Managed to cancel the 2 other orders and only kept 1 128 & 2 64 as I originally wanted.

  • Just got a 64G and a 128G. still available. Thanks for a good buy.
No delivery charge for me in Sydney.

  • Should I get some to collect dust ?

  • +1

Damn it keeps getting lower and lower. You can't even find a decent 32gb one for anywhere near that price

  • I got charged for shipping too even though my order and payment was for $15

    • +1

Yes, because the seller needs to be rebated for shipping by eBay. So, eBay needs to pay for the shipping. i.e.

      Paid with:
      $12.00 PayPal balance
      $14.95 eBay Plus discount

      • Just checked my card account. The invoice/order looks like it's charging me the full amount. But only got charged the $15.

  • +1

Not really wanting to sign up to EbayPlus but $20 'postage' for a memory card is highway robbery.

    • The one really being robbed by all this is ebay since it seems they've agreed to pay it.

      • Turns out I can't seem to sign up to EbayPlus as "this program is currently only available for users registered on eBay.com.au and whose billing currency is Australian Dollar."

My Ebay account pre-dates Ebay Australia. I guess I should talk to someone about that…

        • I think you need to change eBay region in settings somewhere

        • @ozdesi: Currency was one of the problems actually.

But even then it still wouldn't work. I needed to get someone from Ebay to make changes to my account. Just a quirk of having an account that's old enough to drink in the US I think.

  • +2

    "2,620 sold in 24 hours"

Crikey, hope I receive my order in the next 3.5 weeks sometime….

  • awesome, thanks OP.

picked up one for a dashcam and one for a CF adapter for my DSLR.

  • Anyone else getting: We ran into a problem. Please try again later, when entering PASSCODE into coupon code?

    • Getting that trying to apply PIZZAZZ. Perhaps all valid codes are failing when people try to apply them in the checkout.

the changes they are making to their payment process sucks, they don't test it properly in different browsers- but that's not the real problem. Root cause is the complexity, I just found *.eBay.com and *.ebay.com.au was storing >50 cookies in my browser, built up over less than 15 days.

Their system is a dog's breakfast, I'm surprised we can get to order anything. Soon it will head south like a badly engineered rocket.

eBay plus isn't helping any, it screws up the sort by lowest price+postage of items (for everyone other than eBay members) and this comes off the back of their stupid decision to allow vendors to list multiple items in each listing. You look for shelves and have to wade through pages of multiple item listings all sorted by the value of a nut or a screw before you can start to find anything like what your search string requested.

    • i had the same problem. then i remembered I had changed the registered address to the US for the US ebay fathers day discount. changed registered address back to AU and could apply discount.

      • I wouldn't rule it out, anything could upset their checkout logic.

  • FYi this was cheaper yesterday https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/386685

    • +1

1 of each weren't cheaper however, which is what this deal is for.

      • Even at $12 dollars each, it's a cheap way to build a flash RAID using a 2.5" SAGE micro RAID card.

For $160- 2.5TB of SSD at SATA II speed isn't bad given its a very low power setup that maxes out a SATA 2.6 port.

If it does that, I suspect it might turn out to offer 640GB.

Also, it says it does not work with UHS, I'm yet to look at what that means given these cards are all UHS-I.

  • Had 2* 128gb in cart, tried changing qty to 4* and it said seller didn't have enough available. Changed it back to 3* and sale went through. Now getting this when adding 1* more to cart:

This item isn't available in the requested quantity. It may have been purchased already, or the listing has expired.

Sold out, expired listing or I'm just not allowed to buy any more?

  • +1

Feel like I sold my sole for a $12 SDCARD. How do we cancel the plus trial? I'm sure it will be GREAT

    • +7

      I sold my sole

Buy a new pair from SportsDirect or something.

  • Thanks OP, ordered 3 ^^

  • +3

I really hope Amazon Prime smashes this eBay Plus nonsense.
Everything I ordered from Amazon on the weekend is already waiting for me to pick up.
Nothing from eBay has shipped yet.

    • +1

Yeah, I came here to see if anyone has had any of these things ship. Looks like we're in the same boat.

      • I’m 100% keeping my Amazon Prime sub.
        Already cancelled eBay plus.
I don’t think I’ve ever had anything from eBay come within 2 days like I have from amazon.

  • Anyone recommend a decent microSD to Standard USB adapter for these.. want to use one on my Xiaomi MiBox

    Thanks in advance

  • Are these ok for shooting 4k in a go pro?

    • Yes using one now.

  • Anyone have their order ship yet?

    • -1

No, which means it is a long wait for me (west coast).

  • +1

For anyone wondering what to do with 128GB, offline wikipedia is currently 77GB, including images but not videos.

    • +1

      LOL what, no! :P

My 128Gb is designated to Raspberry Pi's Recalbox, which the image file is around 124GB. Bigger than wiki's. :D.

  • Is this the right memory card for the Note8? It looks like it but I thought i would double check

    • +1

      Yes. Microsd. Go for it.

  • +1

Just got shipping sent notification from ebay for the card (purchased on the saturday when they were $13.50 rather than this deal) for 3x64gb cards

    • Same here :)

  • -1

Are these cards EVER going to be sent out?!

Getting to the point soon where they might have to receive negative feedback.

    • Mine got sent out last night from the $13.50 deal, be patient! I'm sure theyre massively backlogged.

      • Another day gone, and still no sign of these cards being delivered. I ordered a set on Saturday.

        They're getting a call tomorrow.

        • +1

Ease up turbo they would have sold 5,000+ cards, cut them some slack. Ordered mine Monday got shipped last night, just be patient.

    • Yeah still waiting.

  • Just got mine today. Confirmed genuine.

  • Asked for a pick up but they sent it by post. Thx for nothing, Pcbyte. Now I have to wait until tomorrow.

    Grrrr

  • Still nothing.

  • +1

Ordered on 25th Jun, still haven't received mine yet. ETA was 28th Jun.

    • +1

Both orders said 'posted' on the 28th but I haven't heard a thing yet.
The tracking SHOULD show up in my AusPost account but they haven't, which makes me doubt they were actually shipped.

      • +1, bought for trip to Japan this weekend, will be very disappointed if they don't arrive in time.

        • +2

Received mine today in the mail. They posted it on the 28th using just normal mail envelope with a stamp.

        • @jonske:

Interesting, I wonder if the tracking # means anything, hopefully I can see it when I get home tonight…

  • Its been a week and two days past the eta since mine supposedly sent, yet I have also not received them

    • I have send PC byte an message on ebay and got the following response

      Seller's message:
"Thank you for your message. Apologies for the late response. Your order was dispatched on the 25th of June via normal mail. Please note that delivery within Australia can take 2-6 business days, according to AusPost, and sometimes, delays can occur which can further increase shipment times by up to another 3 days. Unfortunately, we have no control over shipment delays. If you can please allow for delivery until early next week, it will be greatly appreciated. If your item doesn't arrive then, please let us know. Regards "

And i doubted they will send with parcel instead of an envelop

      • No parcel as they don't give us tracking number, not sure why the shortcut and risking product to get lost in transport.

Looks like they gonna get lotsa neg feedbacks.

        • no one care if they are selling dirty cheap
