Nice, grab one although I don't need it

    • -1

      What a bargain.
Sad that I have reached the point that I won't buy memory storage anymore no matter how cheap they have become. I guess the market is super saturated

  • +2

Damn, just ordered 4 at $13.50 last night

    • +4

if you ordered with PC byte you should pay $11.475 @

      • +1

That's only if you still used "PLUS15", which some user already used on other item.

      • There was a minimum spend on PLUS15. Not on PASSCODE

        • he bought 4 to hit the min. spend

        • Ohh I bought 4 just for the sake of buying 4..

        • @darkage: You and me both, and on Friday 2x32GB arrived in the mail I had bought last week for $17 each!

    • +1

Same. Had a similar thing happen too with an SSD that I bought a wile back, came back cheaper just a month later. Feelsbadman

    • +2

If you applied the 15% off you got 4 for $45.90 which is only $11.475 as mentioned by @LoveBargain15.

  • +34

I got the 128 GB SD card in April for $55, then again in May for $46. Looks like I should buy again to bring down the average price per piece.

    • +7

Just like the stock market, you are one savvy shopper my friend.

    • +1

I do agree with that! LOL

    • +1

Pay for it by winning at blackjack with the doubling method.

    • Dollar cost averaging!
As long as you buy regularly it'll even out.

  • +15

Good job OP, but I really am getting fed up with buying something at it's record low price only to have it go on sale cheaper the next day or for a much better deal to come up a few hours later…the stress of buyers remorse is killing me, I am cursed :).

    • +4

Same. I just bought this card from them like 24 hours ago for $34.20, and now its $32. Aaarghhh!!!

      • Same! The all time low one. Not the buying from pc byte one

  • +3

    Wow

    Woweyy, Doweyy.

  • 🤤

  • +4

Hmmm with ebay plus, you can return and reorder a cheaper one, can’t you?

    • +2

Yep. Think I'll be taking advantage of that too.

      • I'll try to cancel the order if failed then I'll just return it :p

        • what happens if the cancelled item is part of other PLUS15 order , making it less than $50 min. spend after the cancellation

        • @phunkydude:
I'm not sure, maybe just wait until you received this item then make a free return? or ask eBay to confirm?

      • what happens if the cancelled item is part of other PLUS15 order , making it less than $50 min. spend after the cancellation

      • +2

You don’t value your time much, do you? It’s hardly worth the effort for $3.

        • +1

This is ozbargain. Here you spend 8 hours to save 50c. Always worth it.

        • Not a true ozbargainner comment

    • PC Byte still have a 20% restocking fee, but not sure if this is allowed with eBay Plus.

      • I think ebay had removed that option in listings now.

I tried to create a new listing and in the "Returns" section you can select buyer pays for return postage but the restocking fee option doesn't appear to be available anymore.

      • Well a 20% restocking fee would make it very much NOT free, so I’d hope eBay would tell them to get stuffed if they tried charging.

        • Yeah, I've been wondering the same. I requested a return on a 128 GB card I bought from PC Byte for $55 last week!

        • @chromium:

Well if you go through the ebay process to raise a return, it doesn't matter what they say….eBay/Paypal will just make them cough up - i.e. The full amount will be removed from their account and returned to you.

  • +3

    Thanks OP.

Can we ban Shopping Express eBay deals in the future? They increased their prices 5 minutes before the deal went live.

  • +3

At this rate they'll be paying us to take them off their hands pretty soon.

    • Just like the Braun Iron (which I missed out on :( , as usual), awesome.

    • I'd sign up for that.

  • Just got 3 x 64GB's ones. I was happy with the deal when I paid $24, but 1/2 price is so much better.

  • Great price, I remember when these things were 100 bucks or so.

  • +3

I wonder how long these will last. Get them while you can (and hope they actually deliver :P)

Previously PCByte et al sold 64GB cards for $30 + free delivery for everyone. Now it is $15+$15 delivery, with eBay plus members paying no delivery and eBay covering the difference presumably the full amount to the seller. eBay seems to be the ones out of pocket here, so it is possible that this will not persist once accounts see the first set of invoices (or maybe it will if they deem it to be within their cost of delivering the program.) Essentially, if you ordered 2 of these you basically paid shipping for them assuming you are signing up for $29/year - so you need to buy at least 3 to "profit" :p

Interestingly there does not seem to be an "opt in" or "opt out" for the seller on eBay Aust (whereas it seems to be an opt in program for other countries) so there may be very little redress for eBay (i.e. it is basically a unilateral contract) via the eBay plus terms, but they might refuse to pay $14.95 for a micro SD card based on their seller guidelines and put the onus on the seller to prove that they actually spent $14.95 to ship their micro SD cards :P

    • most of the time they just send it auspost in some small package envelope
      no way it cost $20.

wonder how ebay will ask them to prove that it cost $20 to deliver

no doubt it probably makes the cough up some ebayplus members fee or something.

Gonna return my 256gb when it comes. Ordered this one.

    • why?
      how much paid?

      • $83 I think.
I just don’t need 256gb. Can use the $50 difference on a game or two.

  • Man … I ordered a 128GB a few days ago for about 30USD :'(.

Check their feedback, heaps of negatives about fake cards.

      • damn..
so now what do we do?

is there any way to check?

        any other good sellers?

        • Did you order through that seller?

        • @doweyy: no

that is why I asked first

        • @pinkybrain:

          I'm a bit unsure what you're asking?

Are you asking how to know if someone is selling fake cards?

        • @doweyy:
          they are cheapest right now

but those fake card negs are quite concerning….

        • @doweyy:
you said this seller has a lot of negs about fake cards

i asked if there is a way to tell if these cards are real or not.

also alot of those negs about the cards being fake is quite concerning.

        • @pinkybrain:

Oh okay, the only way you can tell from a listing is the negative feedback a seller gets, usually the listings are the cheapest on the market also. I'd highly recommend only buying SD cards from reputable retailers such as any B&M alongside PC Byte / Computer Alliance / Futu Online. Otherwise you're most likely going to receive a fake card

        • @doweyy: ok

          some confusion

I thought you said PC byte were selling fake cards

Anyway, this comment is not good about PC byte

There's a lot of negative feedback on that guy about fake SD cards, some specifically for that listing.

    • i ordered one not looking at feedback
      and received today
have original 256gb card and this one is 100% fake
send straight back with free returns

confirm seller oz-love-deals is selling fakes not PC-Byte as theres are genuine

      • Thanks for the update! Terrible news that you received a fake but glad you're able to return it, I wish eBay was more vigilant about it.

        • bad thing is 463 were sold
how many dont realise they got a fake
eBay needs to do more to protect buyers

  • Ordered 1x 64 and 1x 128GB. Thanks OP!

  • Thanks. Ordered one.

  • +1

    Oh Come off it lol

  • Thanks OP great deal ordered 1

  • Is this the cheapest 128gb on the market?

  • +1

Will this work well with the Dji Spark?

  • +4

Do I need more MicroSD cards…

    • Yes.

    • Need?? What is this need. This is OzB. Buy first justify purchase after.

  • Thanks OP bought a 128GB and a 64GB. Cheap as

  • +1

Finally bit the bullet on a 128GB. Thanks doweyy.

  • How many times can PASSCODE be used? Got burnt by using PLUS15 early on one item.

    • -1

      2 times

      • +1

        Just found this

The offer entitles you to 20% off the purchase price (excluding postage) at Selected Sellers on eBay.com.au during the Offer Period, for up to 3 transactions and up to a maximum discount of $1000 per transaction.

        • +1

Yeah make that 3 times, i thought it didnt work, but pizzazz code shows up instead which is 10% code.

    • Says in the T&C 3 transactions.

  • Can this be use on a dash cam?

  • Bought the 128GB yesterday for $34.80. Do I have to stand the difference as today it is $32? Or does anyone know how to ask them to refund me the difference?

    • I bought one on Saturday for $41, it hasn't shipped yet but can't see any way to cancel, only return

      • Cancellations are done by contact the seller. PC Byte allow cancellations and a full refund if done before shipping.

    • No

  • +1

Thanks OP. Just signed up for EbayPlus, bought 2 and cancelled. $24.

    • keep the trial. what if theres more ebay plus deals tomorrow??

      • yeah, like $10 ea 64gb tomorrow

      • +3

The trial lasts 30 days even if you cancel immediately.

        • Exactly. I cancelled the automatic payment in paypal is what I should have said.

        • i did not know this. thanks people! can i still access the discounted $29 if i decide to sign up later say in November?

        • @havok44: Unclear from my reading. eBay may or may not continue the $29 first year offer. As I don't really need these cards despite the enormous temptation I'm saving the trial for a substantial purchase.

      • I reckon ebay will be throwing a lot of deals around in the next 30days just to entice customers to renew

  • +1

Just noticed the picture shows U3 on the cards and the title says UHS-1

Might be using the eBay Plus free returns!

    • they are different thing

      • Oh it's UHS-I not 1 :)

  • Thanks Doweyy I brought one again.. Can’t resist

    • +5

I hope you're bringing it to me lol :)

    • +2

      what did you bring?
