This Vax vacuum cleaner has upholstery, carpet, and hard floor cleaning ability. It has a lithium ion battery and a 35-minute battery life and is cordless. The Vax VX60 features a 0.3 litre dust capacity, so you can vacuum a huge amount of dust, dirt, and muck. Its 2.9 kg weight allows you to make use of it without fatigue. This model was on special at Harvey Norman and I almost bought it last week at $187.60. It looks like the Good Guys matched the price and I did buy it this morning with the 20% off. The ticket price at The Good Guys store in O'Connor last week was $249.00. I think it is worthy of sharing. The difference between this and the VX63, which has been mentioned here at least once, is 35 minutes per charge vs 45 minutes for the VX63 and one less attachment.

  I have one of these in the 'Pet Pro' model which is designed to pick up pet hair out of carpet etc. I picked it up for around $199 where the Dyson equivalent was around $600. I've had mine for nearly a year and have had no issues, our floors are always spotless. Originally I was hesitant but it was a sales rep at Harvey Norman who convinced me they were pretty good and the brand has been around for a long time. Would buy again.

  Yep bought this not long ago over a dyson equivalent because of that price and have a Vax upright and carpet cleaner and definitely not disappointed. Used the equivalent dyson and the only thing better was the wall attachment

  We bought a vx58 a year ago from JB 99 bucks. It's to compliment the corded one. Happy with it does a great job for a lightweight cordless the vx60 is a steal at that price.

  Yep have had a vx51 for a year and its great. My only niggle is on hard floors the rubber strip on the brush head causes it to grip when you dont want it to. This puts strain on your wrist trying to keep it going straight.
