Yet I am sure you happily use cash rewards 1% cashback?

    • I am confused by your neg. Is this one cheaper or not?

Do you have an API or something so we can change DNS entries automatically for Let's Encrypt's wildcard verification?

    • Yes, through our dashboard you are able to manage your DNS settings.

For Let's Encrypt you can simply raise a ticket and it will done for you at no cost.

I suggest you to use the free and excellent CloudFlare DNS instead of using registrar's (usually inferior) DNS system. They also offer fully automated free SSL certificates.

  • Not the cheapest .au but love the free email forwarding if U need it. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/cheap_au_domain_names

      Hi buneyha,

You can always buy domain names elsewhere and transfer it us to enjoy free email forwarding.

      • Domain transfer is not free and new domains could have a cool off period before a transfer can be performed.

        • Hi netsurfer,

Domain transfer on all Australian domains is absolutely free and there is no cooling off period either, you could purchase a domain right now and get the EPP code straight away and it's fully automated for convenience.

        • @rippahost: Your price is higher than my current one and my current one offers all the features you are offering plus more so thanks but no thanks.

@netsurfer: No Problem, as we mentioned in the post, constructive criticism is welcome. If you don't mind could you share what other addons/features that you are currently experiencing are missing on our service?

        • @rippahost: My current domain registrar offers a much wider range of domains, especially on the gTLDs. Searching on new domains is also a lot easier. Whois is also something I check / look at as well. They also have 24x7 online chat support, as well as decent amount of FAQ and docs. It made domain transfer easier (because each registrar does things slightly differently). The other freebies are minor. They also offer more products (such as cheap SSL certificates, DNSSEC etc…).

You are targeting AU market. Anyway, price is a key factor to me. I've done a bit of probing. It seems to me that you might be a reseller. I generally prefer to go to one of the registrars directly but if the price is better, I will consider. Sorry, I am just cheap so I go for the cheapest option.

        • @rippahost: A few things:

          • Site needs more work. It is odd to use serif type font for titles/headings and sans serif type font for general description (should be the other way around). General layout and UI can improve.
          • When I entered a domain to search, it's fine to redirect me to another page, but don't ask me to enter the information from scratch again.
          • Checkout section. DNS I can understand being optional by default. Whois guard should be ticked by default. You need to make sure you don't do things which annoy the potential customers.
          • Mobile phone as a contact number and looking at your whois record doesn't provide confidence.
        • @netsurfer: can you tell me your provider name ?

Has a whiff of Synergy Wholesale written all over it.

        • @netsurfer: Thanks, most of those points have already been raised with the design and coding team to rectify in near future.

        • @tonyduffe: Yes, Synergy Wholesale is one of our partners

        • @netsurfer: DNNSEC is now available, premium certificates will available soon. And we are the cheapest right now when it comes to .au domain registrations $7/year. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/388734

Draft copy of FAQs and docs have been prepared and will be available soon.

  • I need a new logo design to put on business card and a website for my company. Do you guys do that? Actually can you design the whole business card or just logo?

    • Hi Nick,

Can design just the logo or both, you can get them printed at any store you choose or we can get them printed and mail them to you.

Please contact us on [email protected] for a quote.

  • hey aren't you worry about leaving your registrant contact email with yahoo?
you're providing all these services but not using it for yourself.

    • hey aren't you worry about leaving your registrant contact email with yahoo? you're providing all these services but not using it for yourself.

In the sense of recovery and security it's actually not a good option to use a email address at your domain name for stuff like this. But I agree you shouldn't use yahoo their security track record is horrible.

  • Hi @rippahost do you support Apple Pay or is your checkout process Miss configured? As I'm not seeing a pay with Apple Pay button however it shows one of the payment options as "Credit Card/Apple Pay"

    • Hi tonyduffe,

You have to be using a compatible device for the Apple Pay button to appear for example any device running iOS.

      • Not showing up for me. Tested with multiple iPhones, a Apple Watch, a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and an iMac. No joy all devices performed normally when running Stripe's Apple Pay test page.
