One Free Delivery Per Month on Deliveroo with Shipster

1771

Following on this great Free 12 Month Shipster deal, you can get one delivery for free per month on Deliveroo when you use your Shipster account.

According to the T&Cs:

Free delivery applies to eligible Deliveroo orders, which are those that meet the minimum basket spend of $25.

I think this is worth posting as a separate deal as it might interest people that don’t use Shipster but do use Deliveroo.

Enjoy!!!

Wow, Australia Post has really lifted its game.

You mustn't get any mail or parcels delivered by them.

      • Sorry if I'm out of the loop, but their services have been fine for me. What's bad about them? I do agree that the prices can get a bit ridiculous regarding international shipping, as well their horrible ShopMate service (shudder), however.

        • Their tracking is woeful, and when something goes wrong so is their useless support.

          • @Scab: Strange, the last 10 parcels I've sent and received (I use eBay a lot), they delivered quickly, and arrived to mine quickly. One time when I was waiting for my Corsair mouse to arrive, the mailman forgot to put the notification letter, and I contacted the same Post office, and they told me they had it in storage by a couple of minutes. Tracking was fine for me as well. Which state you in?

            • @n3dd: NSW, I sell a lot of stuff on eBay and sometimes the tracking scan at each point wasn't done.

When I buy things, I sometimes get an email/SMS telling me its due today.

Then an hour later, same thing telling me it's due tomorrow.

  • Do you get the Deliveroo codes emailed to you?

    • +3

Yes you do. On the 1st of every month.

  • Will this promo be available for existing Shipster subscription or do you need to re-register?

    • +1

It’s just a shipster thing. Been this way since it started.

  • +1

Free? Shipster is a paid subscription service.

    • +5

Not if you use the free 12 months as mentioned.

  • +9

FYI - if you signed up through a third party i.e. Cotton On, you have to wait a month to get your first voucher supposedly, still waiting for my first one!

    • +1

It's the same even if you sign up direct like I did - got this email yesterday after enquiring about it.

"Deliveroo vouchers for special promotions will not be received until the second month of the subscription.

Please see the FAQ's on the Help and Support page.

      Cheers

      Sandy
      Shipster Team"

Already got the Cotton On and Birdnest trials on different emails and was thinking I wouldn't need to register the Paypal one for the third. You just gave me a reason to :)

The food will be cold if AusPost is delivering. They take 3 days for deliveries these days.

    • You joke, but Deliveroo actually has the best delivery performance - far better than menulog (which is largely done by the restaurants), better than uber eats for deliveries to the cbd, and marginally better than foodora

      • +1

Yes, shame they take 33% commission leaving nothing left to restaurants… in fact it is costing restaurants money to do deliveries….

        • +6

          As opposed to paying for?
          - an ordering website
          - advertising and marketing expenses
          - delivery staff wages
          - vehicle fees

      • Agreed :P

We got KFC using them last week when they launched delivery in my area
it arrived piping hot :) was very impressed

Only think i do not like now is that to qualify for Qantas Points you have to place 4 orders in a month, used to be 1 point per $ no matter what.

Deliveroo has never covered my area and I'm only 12km from Perth CBD. It covers surrounding suburbs. For as long as I can remember every time I put my address in it just says "We don't cover your area, but we're expanding fast!". Can't be that fast. I'm in a major suburban built up area, not out in the sicks. Deliveroo is the only company that won't deliver here, all of the other online food companies do. Oh well, their loss I guess.

    • -6

Same here, I live 8km from the Adelaide CBD and they can't deliver here, they should be called DeliverNOo

      • -4

Deal doesn’t apply to you so you beg? Good work

        • Where's the begging ?

        • @bolinao: got lost in the autocorrect. It was your Neg that got me to comment.

I see a mod has already revoked it.

    • I’m just out of range in NorWest Sydney. From the UberEats map, it looks like it’s a distance from participating restaurants, that defines where they will deliver.

Maybe ask your nearby restaurants if they will use deliveroo soon.

Also, you don’t want a meal that’s been driven 12km with other stops, unless it’s a non hot meal, such as sushi.

    Thanks OP!

  • +2

a monthly saving of $8.95 now that KFC delivers to my area via Deliveryroo :P

    • +1

Deliveroo fee is usually $5, does the code actually take $8.95 off for KFC?

      • +1

        Sure does :)

    • That's high for KFC. I don't spend more than $8.95 at KFC (1 Zinger Stacker + Survey Receipt)

  • +2

The local burger joint I head to is now on deliverioo, the burgers are around 4-5 dollars more on deliveroo than in restaurant. Menulog I’m pretty sure guarantees the same price. And delivery charge is usually $3 or free with X spend

  • Not really a deal when prices are higher in app… Some stores even offer their own $5 delivery with walk-in pricing, probably still cheaper that way when spending $25.

What's the point of having negative vote if idiots can just vote it out.Useless system.

    • +2

That's the point of the system, and I think you're misreading who the idiot is in such a situation.

      • -2

Not at all, Unless your the idiot ? I posted a legitimate negative feedback and idiots down voted it, I hope this is clear to you now.

        • +2

          you're

    • So bolinai, your opinion is more valid than others??

      plus to Lukian

      • Geez, when you can learn to spell I will answer you.

        • See above.

  • +1

I registered one and have an email from June 28 titled "Your free Shipster subscription confirmed" but I don't have any further Shipster emails after that date, and no Deliveroo code email from the 1st of this month. If I make a second account will I get a code for this month more or less immediately or will I have to wait until the start of the next month at least?

    • +2

See my comment above. Apparently codes not sent out until second month of subscription.

  • +1

that kid doing deliveries used to get paid peanuts. now he probably gets paid nothing!

  • Can this stack with referral credit?

  • Did anyone received the email after signing up?

    Haven’t received mine

    • I never even received a 'your subscription has been confirmed' from Shipster…
but I did order some shoes once and the free shipping was applied…

This doesn't work anymore. they are not partnered with Shipter.

    • +1

Was wondering where was my $5 deliveroo voucher for this month. Deliveroo still appears on the Shipster website tho

      • +1

Edit: Deliveroo vouchers are issued on the 10th day of each month. Once you join Shipster, your first voucher will be delivered on the 10th day of the month following the month in which you joined.

        • My partner received his on the tenth but I still haven't received mine this month.

  • I missed the sign up for this deal. Anyone have a spare voucher they are not using for Deliveroo since it is almost the end of the month.
