          Used ones are selling for about $200 on eBay. Pretty sure $150 on Gumtree is achievable.

      Depends on what you want. I bought one (42mm) because I had absolutely no need for GPS. I dont need to be able to make calls without my phone, either, so whatever came after it was unnecessary for my uses.

    Got the $299 42mm one. Was going to wait till the new ones came out and get the new ones but at half the price of the one i was going to get, i had to get this instead. Will make it hurt less if it gets damaged too

    i wouldn’t get this to be honest. wife had a gen 1 and it was terribly slow and apart from using it to tell the time, was not very useful for other stuff which was painfully slow and laggy. save up for the gen 3 or maybe wait for the gen4 to come out and then get the gen 3 cheaper.

      Battery life will depend on what apps you have on it. I found one that was eating battery like it was going out of style, got rid of that, and now get about 2 days out of the battery. However, thats all moot. If you drop it on the charger when you go to bed (unless, like me, you are also sleep tracking) then your battery will last as long as you need it to. I stick mine on the charger in the morning when I get up and whilst I have my morning coffee. Short battery life is not really an issue, when you get right down to it.

      Waterproof… oh well, cant have everything.

      Laggy? Mine isnt and I dont feel like its ugly, either.

    You don't want the old ones …..
    the new ones have GSM, and for $5 pm you can send and received calls and text even if you don't have your phones with you eg left in car while shopping, or gone back into house, while running (no need to take phone, just watch, etc,etc.

    previous models didn't have the GSM,
