    • Strange, this is what happened to me the other day when PCByte was replaced by Techmall. Maybe they send out to a list of peeps hoping they'll all join the sale and refine it once the deadline to submit is reached?

    • Shopping express just made the listing out of stock. it had more than 10 available just now

      • yeah and increased the price to $270. What an a$$.

  • +2

Mwave, yay! Hope they have some NAS deals and don’t Price Jack!

    • +18

      Very NAS!

      • +8

You hope they dont jack the N-ASS.

        • +1

We'll end up with ~$330 8Tb WD Reds again (price-jack then 20% discount). That's the 'benchmark' price in my head now….

        • +2

Otherwise it will be a whole lots of NAHs.

        • Jokes about butts? Really?

        • @bender000: what's wrong with Seagate Ironwolfs? They're a little cheaper.

      • Such JACK!

    • I can’t seem to find any NAS on the mwave eBay store at the moment. Do they usually have some on there?

    • +2

      Its supposed to be……

      Here we go again…

    • +27

You seem to be yawning alot, maybe it's time for some sleep.

      • Better to sleep than upvote this BS

    • Vote revoked in 3…2…1…

    • +27

You’ve posted one deal in the 8 years that you’ve been a member here. Maybe don’t be so critical of those that post deals regularly?

  • eh

    • +5

      I'm waiting for 85% off 20 sellers.

      • +3

You know those 20 sellers will price jack 100% right?

        • How can you jack something 100%? Genuinely interested.

        • +1

          @pennypincher98:

          Ron Jeremy could

        • +3

@jimbler: I should've clarified jack up not jack off lol

        • +4

@pennypincher98: it's called doubling the price

        • @pennypincher98: original price $50, jacked price $100 => 100% price increase. What am I not getting?

        • +2

@newdad: @viggenn: I just think I need to go back to bed honestly lol.
For some reason 100% increase made no sense when I posted that but makes perfect sense now 😂

        • +1

You know those 20 sellers will price jack 100% right?

          That's fine. That's still a 70% saving.

        • @newdad: And they only give you 85% off the pre-jack up price too…

        • @newdad: id still be happy ti pay $15 for every $50 :)

        • @Seedy seed: I prefer 85% discount on my income tax…

        • I did that once, the next day I woke up dead :(

        • @pennypincher98: All items vs just increasing the price of a few. Those that do increase the price to inflate an illegally claimed sale price generally do it to all items.

  • +1

Anyone think this year will have the 19% off site wide?

  • +3

    Happy Jacking!

  • +10

    jack is that you again?

    • +20

      Hey, what's up?

    • +10

      Username of the year.

  • Just want a Google Wifi sub $150. Spewing I didn't go for it when JB had it.

  • +3

    Search link please blazin!

    • +1

This is untidy but if you paste this in under sellers, it seems to work. I just inserted the comma after each (not even sure if that was necessary). I can't work out how to save the search

You need the sellers user ID, not the store name to do the advanced search. Sometimes they're the same but not always.

        • +1

          Cheers , good to know

      • Lots of stray commas have found its way into your search, also no spaces are allowed, underscores seem to be retailers main choice to mitigate this.

  • +1

Wishing some of those lucky seller sell mi max 3, because I will buy one

  • Can somebody create an ebay search for this. Cheers

    • +3

If you do it, Ill happily give you a +

    • -3

Jesus you ask somebody to hlp you out and it ends in a flurry (2) of downvotes, this is not the OzBargain way! What happened to sarcasm?

  • Here's to hoping for a good <250$ deal for the 2600x and the B450 motherboards!

  • +14

Didn't see this one coming at all. Noticed Hobby WH with the blatant price jacking a few days ago:

    LEGO 21034 Architecture London
    * $61.00 (July 25 - final day of this deal)
    * Down to $55.80 not even a week later
    * Reverted back to $61.00 as of earlier in the week

    LEGO 10220 Creator Volkswagen T1
*Fluctuating between $139-149 mark for past several weeks
*Suddenly jumps 10% to $164 to compensate for this sale

These faux '20% off deals' are a joke. How about make it a genuine 15% off, without the obvious price jacking and seeming treatment of customers as idiots.

    • +5

      Yet the sheep just upvote

    • Aaand… 21034 is back to $55.80 as they are no longer participating.

      What an absolute farce.

  • +1

    Any bargains?

  • +5

    Welcome price jacking overlords

  • Any eBargains??

  • Any cheap Dyson v6 absolutes like last time?

  • -8

Wish these ebay deals didnt have upvotes as its either Out of stock or jacked above what they normally sell.

  • Huzzah for hobby warehouse.

      You're doing God's work BlazinPast.

      • Which God?

        • Whilst I don't subscribe to any of them personally, just from a statistical standpoint, it is most likely a Hindu god as there are 33 million of them.

    • +1

      you are amazing. Thank you!!

      • +3

Yea i know why dont the posters also list out the bargains that are available through the sales. There’s clearly a way to find it out! insert sarcasm

        • +12

@TheDukeOfNukem: this is why I don't bother posting deals I find any more. Just get whingers complaining about something.

      • +3

But comments can be pinned, in fact it's pinned right now.

      • +1

I don't necessarily blame the OP since it takes a while to come up with the search link. If you haven't done it before it'd take over 20 minutes to do

        • I don't mean to blame the OP, despite coming across like that. I've just always wondered why NO ONE does it, and then five seconds later there's some dude in the comments who's done it, seemingly with no effort at all.

If you say it takes 20 odd minutes, fair enough, I'd assume then you have to manually add every store into your search parametres and whatnot and (profanity) knows that wouldn't be fun, so I feel. But even then, why is this not an easier thing on eBay's end? When they have these sales, why can't you just go on there, type in a promo code, and see what the code will work on? Would that not be infinitely easier for everyone?

        • +1

@TheDukeOfNukem: I'm assuming no one else does it because it is very tedious to go through each store and find the proper store name. Plus, someone's usually posting the search link soon after the deal is posted anyway. eBay sometimes provides the search link once the sale starts but I guess some people like looking at the search link immediately before the sale has even started. But for whatever reason, the majority of times they don't post the search link either. They probably know it's a massive hassle to do it too.

      • Username checks out.

    • +1

Thanks heaps for the link Blazin :) It takes time and effort to put it together and helps heaps of people.

    • That search doesn't work properly though. I search for "KEF" and it brings up one pair of speakers. But one of the sellers has multiple KEF items on sale?

      • From Digital Cinema? I don't think it's a fault of my search link as even having no restrictions still won't show the other KEF items from Digital Cinema. Seems like it's an issue on eBay's side in general.

  • +1

    Hello Jack my old friend…
I've come to talk with you again..

    • Because you prices keep on creeping.
Up when eBay does its discount thing.

  • Jacccck

  • "PHASER" didn't work for me but "PAYOFF20" did!

    • +1

      There's always one..
What does that big blue box say?

  • +5

Would prefer 15% off sitewide tbh …

    • You're selling yourself short, why not 50% off sitewide since we're dreaming?

  • +2

SydneyTec and FTC are in my priceJack shitlist.
