This got moved to the forums last time…

We've all determined that there's no bargains, just jacking.

    • +1

I've posted 2 fairly popular deals (101 votes and 54 votes) with this code; and 1 less popular one (19 votes). There is deals to be had.

  • +4

Changing eBay deals from stun, to kill.

  • Let's see how many times the word "jack" gets mentioned.

    • +4

      Once so far

      • I've got my counter ready.

    • Can I buy Jack Daniel's in eBay?

    • None of these vendors offer a car jack? I'll get my coat …

    • You think you'll get a bargain? You don't know jack!

      • No Jack in the box, no deal.

    • +1

You guys know jack-all about price jacking.

    • I’m looking for a flapjack cooker, any good deals so far for one?

    • Any good deals on Bojack Horseman box sets?

  • +1

    Dupe

  • +7

How come eBay doesn't do the search function anymore within the deal?

    • +7

yeah it sucks, you'd think they'd try to make it easier, not harder.

it looks like there's only 111 items (so far at least), so it's not too hard to look through this one.

      • +6

It's dumb. I haven't bothered with any of their deals since.

    • +8

Because that would make it easier to see how bad the prices are.

    • -1

I'm waiting for 14% off 20 selected sellers.

    • +3

Thanks for mentioning this. I thought I was just incompetent.

I guess ebay is hoping you'll buy something you don't need while scrolling though to find the thing you do.

    OzJacking

  • when ebay let real custmers like us to vote the selected sellers to be discounted with, then lets talk real discounts.

  • I need a new Power Supply, thinking of the Supernova G3 750 @ $179 ($143 after 20%)
Bit cheaper than staticice but not by too much.

Do you think I should wait for a better price or is this a solid discount?

    • +1

      Things to consider:
      Supernova g2 750 deal was $101.25
Do you really need 750 watt psu? Most single card builds won't need that much. Was reading about psu efficiency yesterday…
Maybe look at Rm550x for $121.6

  • +1

dcxpert have just jacked their prices.

The Sigma 135mm 1.8 was ~1480 now its ~1800. Similarly with a few other lenses

    Bull***t sale

    • K1-II with RRP $2599 but listed at $2799 on eBay. It still comes down to $2239. Ted's is selling it for $2999. There are some weird lens prices though 24-70mm is $450 more on eBay than at pentax.com.au

  • Any bargains?

  • meh

  • 10% GST payable at least to mobile devices. Hmmmm

  • Search link?

  • +3

Every time I see Futu Online I think of futanari and tbh it just confuses me and then I forget I was looking at their shop and move on.

  • +10

Try this as a search link (edited from the one posted by Blazinpast in the archived post).

  • +3

Be careful with eBay and seller 'warranties'. I recently had a seller refuse to honor a 12 month written (in the listing) warranty when the product went belly up three months after I bought it. eBay were ABSOLUTELY NO HELP and gave me the b*****it bureaucratic runaround before shunting me off to Paypal to try and get a transaction reversal. Caveat emptor!!

    • +1

What happened in the end or is it still ongoing?

  • +5

Why do these ebay "deals" get soo many upvotes when sellers jack their prices well above their own websites and even RRP ?

  • Any cheap Micro sd cards on this deal?

  • For those buying ebay gift cards with woolworths evouchers, I tried to buy some through my local woollies (bullcreak) and the payment method was not processing. The eftpos machine said "not a valid payment type". I tried buying 5 x $100 vouchers only. I'll try and buy some groceries and a gift card next time and see how i go. Hope you all have more positive experiences.

    • That happended to me yesterday too. I had groceries as well. Tried with just one card. No go.

    • This must be implemented since Wednesday. Tuesday night I could still buy. Today, Thursday, just tried and it said "cancelled, item not allowed." Happy days' over !

      • Bought today, worked fine.

        • Which Woolworths did you purchase from?

      • not looking good for the future :(

      • Yes got that too… my woolworths eGift cards can probably last me a year or more.

  • The "Drives & Storage" link helpfully redirects you to the Digital Cameras category. Jeeze.
