Haha everything seems better on amazon. Ordered. If I saw this at woolies I wouldn’t buy it. I think I have a problem

      • +5

I have the same problem. Everything seems better if it is delivered in a slightly larger box.

        • +2

          100%

        • +3

          Just slightly larger?

I ordered ear buds the other week .. and they came packed in their own box about 10x10x10cm … and Amazon in their wisdom had packed it inside a box so big I could have easily fitted another 7-9 sets in the same packing box.

        • I ordered a small logitech keyboard from JB Hifi last month and it was packed in a box the size of an oven for some bizarre reason. The guy at the parcel point almost injured himself lifting it, expecting it to be really heavy rather than light as air.

  • +2

Well 'Millions of customers in over 100 of countries' have not used better containers.

Warning: not airtight, do not use as lunch box or you'll need a new bag.

    • +1

Thanks. Saved me from purchase (and a new bag).

They are suppose to be airtight and have saved me on occasion.

There is a rubber seal inside the lid. Is it possible you lost yours washing it?

I do use them for food too but I tend to use them for keeping gadgets in - bluetooth speakers, headphones, wifi dongles, phones, chargers and cables etc., rc radio transmitters, camera gear (make sure you have some dessicate in there). They make good organizers. With a bit of padding (bubble wrap or styrofoam or rubber) they tend to be great for keeping things from getting knocked. They aren't indestructible and I wouldn't use them in place of a pelican case, but for a cheap solution they're pretty damn good. I've probably broken about 5 or 6 containers over the last few years and never had anything I used them to protect break. Most of the breaks have been from very hard knocks (falling from a shelf onto concrete on the garage accounts for half of them).

Terrible containers, don't waste your money.

    • +3

      Why?

I don't have problems with mine

      • +1

Likewise - very useful containers in my experience.

      • Stain easily and doesn't keep any liquid in, just cheap stuff.

        • +2

Are you getting these confused with your underpants?

          @dm01: 10/10

        • All clear plastics stain easily. Yet to see something that doesn't.
