    The code isn't unique…

    Just signup or login, search for the item and the special price (the same promo code) is offered..

    • Coupon code "EBGAMES-92D6-NM23-DBZ7-CLF3T" was already redeemed?

  • Not a bad price for a 65" name brand. I remember paying about $1450 for my 64" Samsung plasma in 2013, but it was a floor display model (2012 model) and only 1080p of course.

    • +2

      How's your power bills looking? :P

      • +9

        I remember team LED would always throw shade at team plasma regarding power consumption. It's so dumb. It's like

        "haha I might have paid $1000 more for an LED which barely matches the picture quality of your plasma, but I save $30 a year in power bills, sucker!!"

        Cost difference alone, you'd need to use the TV for about 30 years to break even on the cost difference between plasma and LED at the time.

      • +2

        $3200 a year. :(

      • +7

        Plasma is worth the power use. Still can't give up my Panasonic

        • +3

          Plasma TV's double as a room heater, though, so in winter you're probably ahead.

        • +1

          Second. My pana plasma still rocks. Best for watching sports.

        • +1

          Third. Bought pre-owned from 2009 and still won't die.

        • And you call yourself an Ozbargainer - circa 30c per hour to watch your own TV in electricity costs.

        • +1

          @jason101:
          I only watch it during sunny days when the solar is working

        • @dts88: I hardly watch sports but my 50" Pana plasma ST60 is closer to the cinema movie viewing experience than any LCD I have seen. The Pana 65" ST30 which I had was also excellent and I would have still had it if I hadn't moved into a smaller place.

      • +1

        Yeah that argument is out the window when you have full array backlighting and HDR with super bright LEDs

        My 60 inch pans plasma uses about the same as this one. This is 171W, mine is 155W out of box.

        The early LCD panels with shitty edge lighting used significantly less.

      • You would have to have big problems if you have issues with a few hundred watts on a TV. A couple more hundred than any other. Maybe you should buy a 32" TV to save on power, live off the flash led on your phone and not bother about heating a home.

  • Does this TV use Android O/S? what's the difference with X7000E series. Tried to find reviews, could not find any

    • +6

      No - the 7000 series are entry level models and as such do not come with Android.
      E = 2017 release
      F = 2018 release

      • +1

        Ah I see.. Thank you for your reply & explanation, mate!
        So this was a better deal, but no stock https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/400077
        Upvoted for sharing the code! Thanks Op

        • No probs!
          Yup those were run outs of last years models!

        • @mouski:
          Do you happen to know the difference?

        • @Chewiebacca:
          I dont sorry, usually I check on rtings.com but they dont have the newer one listed.

      • I’ve got the 7000D which actually came with Android, so quite happy with that!

    The question is, is this tv any good ?

    • Ya actually cancelled the order. This TV is entry level and while it has some good image processing, the lighting and dimming let's it down compared to the Hisense for around the same price like the P7 range.

      BACKLIGHT TYPE: Direct LED
      DIMMING TYPE: Frame Dimming
