  • Can't decide on this or the Aldi 60"

    • Flip a coin?

    • It's better to compare it to this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/375878

The Viano is has smart functionality whereas the Bauhn is only a basic set. Being a cheap low end unit I don't expect good software support/updates.

Sometimes low end smart features are more a curse than a blessing.

I was given a free SONIQ TV that has Android on it…. not only is booting very slow, but Android 2.0 can't do a whole lot…..

  • I so want to save for a Hisense but this is extremely tempting.

    • +1

I know they're good, but I remember in like 2007 when Hisense were just the cheapest thing you could buy. Including the stores 'own name' brand.

      How times change.

    • If you're happy with 50" then here's a hisense for $740 + del

      • My current tv is a 50". Due to the lounges situation we have to sit 2.5m-3m from the tv. It is hell lol. Holding out for a 65"

        P.s R U okay? (Is everyone okay).

      • It's showing $925. Looking for a 2nd tv for PS4 and netflix for the kids

        • +1

Use code POLLEN to bring it down to $740

  • Am i better holding off saving pennies with my old 55" Panasonic Plasma for the moment?

"dumb" TVs are the better choice when shopping amongst the budget options. I have a smart Kogan and dumb Bauhn 55" TV, and prefer the Bauhn simply because of the slow start up and delays with the smart interface on the Kogan. The Bauhn was also cheaper by $50 however I had to collect it myself in a morning rush against other ALDI customers..

I've heard this brand is pretty unreliable… the internet will always have people who complain.. but does anyone have this brand and would recommend it?

  • Anyone paired this with a PS4 Pro? How's the input lag??? Not expecting much lol

  • I have had a Viano 40" for 6 years now. Still going strong.

  • can you use cashrewards gift cards to get this cheaper? i am also trying to decide between this and aldi's 60inch on saturday. Feel like the misses will moan more and notice the 5 inches.

  • Avoid like the plague, one review on the TV States on the big w site

  • +1

Bought one and it's not bad at all 😁

    • Give it two weeks, these are trash.

  • I got a Viano for our community group.about a year ago…tv is not well treated, but the plastic chassis is holding together pretty well… but like all lower end TV without glass covered screen …. the screen can easily be damaged, our got a few scratches and Nicks on it
If you’re after a decent big TV and don’t need to impress your friends these are great values. The screen colors and brightness was abit harsh in default, but we just adjusted to our liking, there are also some preseted mode to select from.
