  • You might have seen a seller selling this on eBay for $80. Brand new item and Australian stock. I did not even look at warranty (I couldn't care if the price is $80 to be honest). Their description said "Videopro" but it was not sold by Videopro (as a seller). I bought through PayPal anyway and I got them delivered yesterday. Looks genuine to me and all good. I listened and sound is great. But the listing is now removed from eBay. I thought I will share!!!

Are you sure they're genuine Bose? There are lots of fakes on eBay and if the listing that you bought from has been removed, that's a big warning sign…

Not to mention the enviable bargain price of $80.

      • The voice prompts on the fakes are some kind of stock software for chinese branded generic wireless earphones/headphones, I have 3 different pairs of bluetooth earphones from different CN brands and they all use the same "Power on", "Phone 1/2 connected", "pairing" prompts

      Guaranteed fakes.

      • I checked the serial number in the Bose app and it comes as genuine!!!

    • I've also bought some from ebay and was really concerned about buying a fake (Paid $335 with ebay discount codes). Mine ended up being shipped directly from BOSE which was a great sign they were genuine. Also, I have been told that the fakes do not allow you to complete a firmware update using the BOSE connect app.

Yeah it's an okay sign of authenticity I guess.

  • has anyone used both this and the aldi one
obviously Bose will be better, and you get what you pay for but will there be a world of difference between the two, or will the Aldi one do for your basic podcast listening while walking your mutt?

  • Def not an attractive price given an expected new model and recent deals ~$350 mark. Plus the release of Sony MX3 should put further downward pressure on the Bose.

  • Not a very good price since it often falls below $360

  • I think it's still 368 from videopro eBay with code POLLEN

  • QC25 Plus AirMod for me

Better NC with the 25’s in my opinion

I have been using qc35 2gen for 6 months and I do NOT recommend - Unless the design is a major argument for you.
Sound and NC wise thare are $100 alternatives that come very close.
I would consider Sony or maybe even the noname alternatives if I was able to reverse my purchase.

could you please suggest which one I could get for $100
      my priorities are
      1. comfort- my ALDI ones do pinch after about an hour and I find I need a break
      2. noise cancellation
      3. sound

      • I have limited but good experience with KitSound Immerse Wireless Bluetooth. I think there have been others on this site in that price range.
