    What am I missing here… ?
A 19th birthday party code gives only 10% discount on a very limited selection, whereas existing PLUSIT15 code gives 15% discount !

That QC35 is the cheapest I have seen in a while, even cheaper than the $349 I paid at Amazon for mine.

Edit: I suppose if you are only after those listed items in the table, you are in luck !

    • I dont think it will stop there. Be patient
The Bose is the last fight against the new release Sony, I think it will keep going down very soon

      • +20

Sadly with Bose's reputation and brand that they have built, it won't go down far. Bose still holds their value a lot better than other brands. Bose is like Apple, price doesn't steeply drop unless its more than 2-3 generations old.

        • Any chance of QC3 coming out soon?

      • Their original A20 headphones (for pilots) came out in 2010, and have only increased in price despite being pretty much the same unit to this day.

    • +7

Why do eBay just copy Amazon prime day?

19% or 20% site wide would be more original.

      • not as profitable

    • +2

Just an FYI - PLUSIT15 expires today.

      • still working??

        • +1

          Not any more

      • they have cancelled these active codes for now to make it up for this. including 'pointy','plenty10','plusit15'

      • Yeah I went to buy a phone today with it, and it was expired… I was sad.

      • Soooo annoyed I missed out on PLUSIT15… Now I've gotta keep waiting before buying stuff ffs

    • +1

      A little disappointed

    • That was pre amazon. I definitely did some big spending last time round.

Amazon is here and its confirmed… it's crap. No need for competition here.

      • +3

I was about to agree, then I realised I get more amazon then ebay parcels these days.

Oh and I had a tangle with ebay plus support about an item that went into my cart as ebay plus free shipping, then when I went to pay ~10mins later, i noticed a delivery charge. they wouldn't budge, I was told bad luck and when I asked how I can complain, they said you can't, then advised me that the item was now out of stock anyway so I couldn't buy it anyway. Where as Amazon customer service, is great, even when returning an item, they pay a fixed amount for postage, often well above what it actually costs.

        • Interesting. I still haven't found a good argument for using Amazon when the prices are so bad, but will bear customer service in mind. Still don't know if that's worth paying a 10-20% premium though.

        • +2

Amazon's customer support is great i will agree, but haven't had many issues with ebay either tbh. Yours sounds pretty bad though.

The bits of amazon i am most disappointed with are the limited range and the lackluster sales compared to U.S.

Let's hope the day brings bigger deals.

        • @a1ienz: yeah I've asked them about the lack of lightning deals, but they just keep saying its up to the suppliers. I guess we're not a big enough market yet. Uk, US, Canada, German, French often have ~1000 deals/day we get a few if we're lucky.

      • +1

Yup Amazon is freakin terrible out here. It's so damn expensive and there's nothing for sale anyway. How long till the plug is pulled? I know a few vendors who don't even bother to list on Amazon because it's just not worth it.

  • Here it comes guys !!!!

  • +4

Can’t confirm if there is a general site wide %off offer but this is merely a ‘hot buy’ sale.

If someone else could confirm or suss out?

  • Price so good for Switch and Airpod

  • I wonder how many they will have in stock…

    • Probably just 2… haha

  • +3

who will the sellers of these items be?

    • The usual suspects?

  • Where did the tabled offers come from?

  • +4

Isn't 20% off Dell like every 20% off selected sellers sales?
I guess the rest are not bad priced. Hope theres enough stock to go around.

    • Well dell doesn't pricejack.. it's 20% off RRP, but then again their eBay store doesn't have every listing for their items the dell website has..

      • Just ask them and they will create it. I did that to match specs I wanted and got the 20% off

        • Do you ask them via ebay message?

        • Yeah under the dell_australia ebay profile there is a contact button

      • I kind of question if Dell pricejack or not…
Two days ago, I was looking at the Dell UP3216Q monitor. I was suppressed that the Dell website is cheaper than the cheapest seller from Staticice, selling for around $1600. I am sure it wasn't on any special or discount as well. This morning, both Dell website and eBay list are asking for $2199 for the same monitor

        • Dell AU having sales all the time. Usually only a one or two categories at a time. I feel sorry for anyone that buys a Dell product at full price.

  • Damn I have just spent 300 bux using POINTY coupon. Could have waited for another 9%

    • +4

huh? it isn't confirmed that there is 19% off. Currently confirmed is additional 10% discount off their "deals" for eBay Plus members.

  • +2

Will the tax invoice for the QC35’s show as 329 or 296 if I have the plus? (TRS)

    • +5

Add a $4 item from the same seller just in case.

In the past the invoice has always been pre discount because the discount is from eBay but the invoice is from the seller for the original price.

    • I wouldn't count on it. Most eBay stores don't provide a GST tax invoice but check with the seller once the information is released.

      • +1

Personally, the down votes don't bother me, I'm just curious if people know that the listings will definitely get a GST invoice and hence the downvotes?

        • it'll depend on who is seling it. But it seems if they have a website or physical store you'll get a GST invoice. If they're just an ebay seller, then possibly not. If you're turnover is under $75k, you don't need to register for/charge gst.

But as others have said, msg the seller and ask!

      • +3

Most Ebay stores that are Australian based and that the goods are sent from Australia come with an Invoice.. And the invoice amount is for their price listed not the ebay discounts. (Thats from stuff I bought from Dell and TGG)

        • +1

I second this. Bought from futu online, citizen watches aus and videopro ebay stores.

Price on receipt was full value and not discounted ebay price.

        • There is a difference between a tax invoice with GST and just an eBay receipt. Unless it's a store like TGG, Harvey Norman, etc. I haven't come across many other sellers that send a GST invoice.

Looks like Jack is turning 19 tomorrow!
    Happy birthday Jack!

    • +15

      Thank you so much!

  • +7

    Yawning

    • +10

      Sub $300 QC35s?

  • That "Dell XPS 13" description is super vague — anyone know which specific model it might be?

    • +5

I'm going to assume it this one, since RRP is $1999.

EDIT: Can be purchased for $1439.20 with coupon code "POLLEN" now.

      • Cheers, thanks for that!

      • +2

Its already $1439.20 with coupon code POLLEN.

    • It's really confusing, as in the description is says its for a i5 8250u CPU, but that CPU is in the 9370 model, and in the item specifics area, it says the listing is for the 9360 model..

  • +14

19% off sitewide would be better.

    • +9

      Plus 19% cashback?

      • Most likely 1.9% cashback if they offered it.

    • +9

Hoping Cashrewards will come to the party tomorrow with a site wide eBay offer, cause I’ve got stuff to buy and waiting for it lol!

      • And no handbrakes with capped discounts at $100 please

  • +1

Whose stocking these items? Any direct links?

  • +1

Will Amazon price match for Bose?

    • Definitely not if you need to apply a code. Otherwise if its ebay listed price they probably would.

      • Hoping they come out with something

    • Do Amazon even price match?

      • They may lower their own prices..

  • -6

Is this even legit? How can the Bose headphones be that cheap!!

    • +2

Because new sony is out and shopping season coming soon, if they do not destock from now, they may not be able to do that close to Christmas

  • So I can just sign up for eBay plus trial, get the QC headphones, then cancel? Am I right?

    • +1

you dont have to cancel, its for 30 days, take your time mate

      • +2

Yep cancelled right away, still have it for 30 days!

    • +4

      Yes. Tight but right…

    • You can cancel the subscription right way and your eBay plus will be active until end for the trial

  • "Only one item may be purchased per transaction. You may only use the redemption twice during the Offer Period"
Seriously only ONE ITEM per transaction???????????????????

    • +22

      We live in a post-Broden world…

    • Looks like there's no minimum spend or max discount but you can only use it for 2 items for a ebay birthday deal seems very mean..

    • +4

      Question marks are still free.

  • Should I go and pick up some ebay gift cards using woolworths e-gift card? Does that still work?

    • +2

      no

      • +2

        Thank you.

    • Worked for me last week at a self check out in Brisbane

  • +1

Hope there's switch games included with the sales.

  • From the tabbed offers, anybody know which Breville machine it is? Presumably the Creatista Plus?

  • seems good but I doubt the stock will last long.

    • Max 50 will be sold I reckon.

  • +3

Damn it. Get my first Bose headphones or wait for a Sony deal? Dilemma!!

    • +9

Wait till tomorrow, Amazon may try to outshine eBay based on algo's and traffic.

      • Yes do like last time, 30% cheaper on Amazon + 10-12% cashback

  • +4

    Happy birthday eBay

  • -5

When does it start? its after midnight
