    Price in title mate :)

  • +1

Thanks for posting this mate, pretty damn good deal indeed.

One thing though, would you please write the $599 price tag in the title?

  • Seems it's already $699.

    • +9

makes the "700 saving off rrp 1299" a bit dodgy but 599 is a good price.

  • +7

    So over their RRP BS

    • +5

You'll be pleased to know the RRP has an unconscious and automatic effect of changing whether you think a deal is good or not so it definitely makes sense to print that number everywhere to make deals look better.

      Not.

      • Haha, well played.

      • +2

In China a 50RMB dress might seem too cheap, but some people will buy it for 500RMB because ‘it’s expensive so must be good’

        • -2

I'm sure those people would be upset when the 500rmb dress falls apart like a 50rmb dress. People pay more because they expect a level of quality at that price point.

        • @Michael15286: I think you are being negged for assuming "rich" people care enough whether it falls apart or not. Many of them don't.

  • +4

why is this a good deal? the original price is inflated and now they've dropped the price to what it should be thanks to the bursting crypto frenzy and it's supposed to be a bargin? idk tho.. could be wrong lol

    • +6

why post anything on ozbargain then?

      • -2

because it's a bargain on an original price not an inflated one…..duh.

        • -1

luckily there are not many people like you on ozbargain, otherwise there would be approximately 3 deals posted per year.

        • -2

          @DiscoJango: i'm talking to a rockhead. bye.

  • +6

20 Units available - 174 click throughs from Ozbargainers alone in the past 30 mins.

    Sounds like a lottery.

  • Shopping Express? mmm… that's one shop I haven't seen in OZB in a while.

  • +1

I don't understand why you would have 20 units available which will make for 20 happy potential customers and potentially 200+ angry lost customers.

      Hey it works for Aldi.

      • Aldi has so much clearance nowadays. Overstocked in a lot of things, so us scalpers can pick them up for over 50% off.

Recently picked up the elliptical for $99

Not as good as the same model on Futu Online eBay @ $638.40 delivered without the giftcard. If you use $600 giftcard with 10% off, you can get it at $578.4.

Decent price for a 1080, but the Armor design is awful for cooling.

  • Makes me feel better about buying my colorful 1080 for 660 2.5 months ago

  • eh there's been better pricing
galax one was a bit of a steal

  • Hasn't the 2080 been released?

    • I believe some Taiwan net cafe already has them.
      https://youtu.be/-3PnIZmlSC0

      Translate:200 computer with RTX 2080 oc 8gb, 3 out 20 got 2080ti 11gb in the battle room.

      $They charge 30NT(∼$1Aud) per hour.

    • Announced, tested and priced for Australia.

      Not quite released.

2080 is 1350 pre order right now, performs marginally better than 1080ti (RTX completely untested so no idea if it's actually worth using)

  • +1

Any point for me upgrading from 1070 to 1080?

    • Im also in this bracket.

I'd probably hold out for a 1080ti or for the early adopter price of the rtx cards to drop off

      • +3

        1060 -> 1080
        or
        1070 -> 1080ti

don't upgrade for anything lower otherwise it won't be much of an upgrade.

        • TBH, I am playing at 1440p so I guess I'll just stick with my 1070.

  • Can get it cheaper via eBay Futu with gift cards, + for $260 more you can get a Gigabyte GTX1080ti gaming via Futu or shopping express with gift cards.

    $1199 - 20% - 10% = $863

Honestly, $260 extra for a hell of a lot more graphics card, is a small price to pay for a gpu which will provide great future proof performance for the next 3 - 5 years.

    • Yeah, but it's another price bracket. I seeyour point about value though.

      • I agree, I was thinking immediately after posting, that I should have said, if you can afford it.

        • You know you can edit your posts, right? Until someone replies… so my typo is stuck ;)

        • @spillmill: hahaha, it’s not about whether you are able to fix something, it’s about whether you can be bothered.
