Hey rep, any basic wired earphones for the older generation? Need something sturdy to just do the job really for an old family member

    • We have the TT-EP002 earphones in this post.

    • If they aren't suitable, send me a private message and I will look into it for you.

      • haha will do! Thanks for the suggestion, might get them for myself though

I've bought so much TaoTronics stuff lately because of all their deals they post here it's crazy.

    • They love OzBargain. I keep sending the Rep links to fun threads and he keeps sending me new deals :)

      • +2

        Hi xev ,

What's the main difference between the TT-BH22 which was on sale here @ OzBargain earlier & this one ?

      • Well keep it up mate, i could use another Bluetooth receiver :D

  • Hey rep,

Any deal on the TT-BH22 yet? 😁

    • I haven't been given a new deal yet but I can let you know when I have one.

If anyone would like me to let them know when I have a deal for specific TaoTronics, VAVA or RAVPower products please send me a private message with that product in the title and I will notify you a soon as the deal is active :)

How is the TT-BH40 different to the BH22?
I own a pair of the BH22s and love them, am hoping to get a second pair but can't tell the difference between BH40 and BH22

      • how's the noise cancelling for the bh22's? ive been waiting for it to go on sale but mainly concerned with its noise cancellation

        • Hi Mate, I was notified this afternoon that the BH22s is back in stock at long last!

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/412863

I managed to get a deal for the same price as last time, $59.74. The code is valid for 24 hours unless they sell out first :)

If you use CashRewards they currently have 10% Cashback which will bring the final price down to around $54

(Apologies if you get this message twice, I am notifying everyone who sent a message and asked in the comment section's as well)

  • Very tempted. Its in my price range unlike the Sony and Bose.
Can they be used for gaming?

    • +1

If you are wanting to use them for single-player they will be fine.

If you are wanting to use them for multiplayer they may not be optimal if you plan on using them with the 3.5mm cord as this turns off battery power and the mic won't work.

      • But they work fine over bluetooth?

        • +1

They will work but as they don't have Aptx there may be some lag.

          • +1

@xev: Bit of a deal breaker for me then. Thanks anyway

    • I use a BH-22 playing PUBG multiplayer with mic on bluetooth, there is a sound quality difference compared to playing solo and mic off. Don't really notice any lag.

  • just to confirm, the wireless headphone has option to use wire for headphone jack?

    • Yes they do, they come with a 3.5mm cord and Airplane adapter as well :)

      • Thanks, purchased! Although price was $58.99, 11c more than advertised!

  • Looking for deal on BH025.

    • I haven't been given a new deal yet but I can let you know when I have one.

  • I'm also waiting for ANC Bluetooth earphone deals. Probably buy 3-4 units.

  • Looks good. Ordered. Thanks for the deal.

Good News everyone CashRewards has been increased to 10%

This will end at CashRewards discretion.

    • Aarrgghh forgot cashrewards before placing my order! Is there any way to cancel and make another order?

Aarrgghh forgot cashrewards before placing my order! Is there any way to cancel and make another order?

        Do you even OzBargain bro?

      • I think Amazon gives you 30 minutes to cancel, after that you would need to message their support.

        • Thanks, says I need to contact the seller.. I think I'll just deal with missing out on cashrewards :(

        • Does cashrewards even apply to this deal?

"• Use of coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards will void eligibility for Cashback."

          • +1

@ChmpgneTasteBeerBdgt: Yes, CashRewards applies to this deal :)

            • @xev: CR first timer here.

So I use CR site to access Amazon AU, search TT-BH040, ordered (without getting out the link), then now I just sit and wait till I get rewarded? How long does it takes to shows on my account?

              • +1

@Yummy: First, always make sure the CashRewards link is the last thing you click before adding an item to your account and make sure any adblocking add-ons are turned off.

It should show in your CashRewards account within 4 days and approval can take up to 75 days.

                • @xev: The mentioned link is this right? https://www.cashrewards.com.au/amazon-australia
Then I click Shop Now yellow button which leads me to Amazon AU site.

                  • +1

                    @Yummy: Yes, that's right.

There is also a CashRewards Add-on available for most browsers that you can use, which is helpful as it will let you know when CashRewards is available on different sites and will show when it is active.

                    • @xev: Thx matey, appreciate that. Ordered one.

  • Serious question, how is the TT-BH040 compare to the Srhythm NC75? I just bought the later couple weeks ago, and found the ANC not really good so how is this compared on terms of sound and ANC?

Or how is this compare to Anker Space Core NC?

    • This article compares the best new AND Headphones for 2018 and has both the TT-BH040s and Anker Space Core NC. The list is from most expensive down, so the BH040s are at the bottom of the list.

I can't find anything comparing the TT-BH040s and the Srhythm NC75 but these are cheaper :)

  • I've been really happy with my TT-BH025 from the last deal.
    … but:

2 Large-Aperture Drivers: A duplet of 40 mm drivers allows them to stream high-resolution audio with a deep, powerful bass.

How are you able to stream "High Resolution" audio over the aptX codec?

    • +1

Sorry for the delay, I put the question to the Rep who had to consult with the tech team

TT-BH025's Bluetooth chip supports aptX audio decoding, so it's able to stream High Resolution audio over the aptX codec

  • Does Taotronics have any APT-X LL headphones?

  • My TT-BH047 literally arrived this morning and I forgot to bring it home from work…
But this TT-BH040 seems to have smaller cup than TT-BH040?
OP I think you need to create a page/wiki comparing all models since people keep asking you the difference between models.
TaoTronics should create a comparison page.

    • The cups depth are smaller than the BH047 but bigger than the BH22s.

That's a good idea about a comparison page for differences between TaoTronics models.

I will look into it :)

  • Any discount on their bluetooth receivers this time round?

    • I haven't been given a new deal yet but I can let you know when I have one.

If anyone would like me to let them know when I have a deal for specific TaoTronics, VAVA or RAVPower products please send me a private message with that product in the title and I will notify you a soon as the deal is active :)

  • Hi Rep, any deal on Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver (TT-BA08 for instance)?

    • +1

There isn't a new deal for them at present. Hopefully, they will give me a new deal shortly.

If anyone would like me to let them know when I have a deal for specific TaoTronics, VAVA or RAVPower products please send me a private message with that product in the title and I will notify you a soon as the deal is active :)

  • +2

Thanks Xev! Was contemplating buy the QC35 to use mainly at work but ended up giving the TT-BH040 a whirl!

    • Very nice. I saved similarly buying taotronics instead of jaybuds. 90% of the experience for 25% of the price!

  • +1

Taking a trip to USA in December and was looking for a cheapish set of NC headphones. No reviews on Amazon so can anyone provide feedback on these, particularly if theyre comfortable for say long-haul flight? Are they truly over-ear enough to actually go fully over the ears and sit comfy?

    • +1

If you have a look at the Amazon US & UK links in the post you will find lots of reviews.

They do go fully over the ear and are very comfy. I received my pair on Monday and tried them for several hours and they are great :)

      • +1

Oh i see, thank you. I was looking at Amazon AU which has no reviews yet but yeah you're right about the other sites. Yeah i'll prolly get a pair i think, especially with that 10% cashrewards offer atm, cheers dude.

  • Thanks OP.

Just grabbed a pair so I listen to my favourite radio show without the missus complaining :)

    Happy wife, happy life :)

  • Code not working for me: "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."

    • +1

Each pair above has a different code. if that's not the problem please let me know

  • Ordered, cheers OP. Been hanging out for a decent and well-priced pair of Over the Ear headphones so these seem worth a shot.

  • So… These or Sony xm3s? :-P

  • Thanks OP, been looking for headphones and this pops up at perfect time.

  • Thanks OP, always wanted a pair of NC headphones but couldn't justify the amount Bose are asking. Let's see how these boys go :)

  • +1

They look impressive for the price. OP, how do you rate their NC compared to Sony XM3 or Bose 35

    • +1

I can't compare as I don't own the Sony XM3 or Bose 35, I can only compare price.

But here is a Youtube review that compares them with the Bose 35s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unn0LoCmvSg

      • Review rates them quite high…

  • Can the earpads be replaced?

I'm thinking on putting on the bose earpads, much softer.

    • I will have to ask the Rep about that but the earpads on them are very soft. I am sure you would be happy with them.

  • ordered the tt-bh40. no issue using the code. thanks for the deal xev :)

  • +1

    Thanks OP.
I didn't need one and ended up buying it

    • +2

      That's the OzBargain spirit!, lol

    • Which did you get?

      • +1

        Got myself the TT-BH040.
The feedbacks on Ozbargain on this headphone is what made me purchase this lol.

        • Well done. There's another good review here.

  • Keen on a set of the BH-22's if they come around

    • There isn't a new deal for them at present. Hopefully, they will give me a new deal shortly.

If anyone would like me to let them know when I have a deal for specific TaoTronics, VAVA or RAVPower products please send me a private message with that product in the title and I will notify you a soon as the deal is active :)

  • Why buy a sony when you can get 6 of these!

    • I have 2 ears I guess?

  • Damn, i want to buy it but i'm still rocking on sony mdr zx600 after 5 years.

  • +1

There’s some good deals coming from OP. Love his deals on those wireless chargers. However, I am puzzled by the amount of upvotes for these headphones. I do keep some tabs on ChiFi but have never heard of these phones. Would love to learn more.

    • These headphones are currently #1 seller in Electronics on amazon.com.au. Associated OP provides links to reviews on Amazon US and Amazon UK plus 5 Tech reviews and 4 YouTube reviews.

      • I never trust amazon reviews because of the scandals behind sellers abusing the rating system. Those tech reviews seem okay. A key check of mine to see if an item is quality ChiFi, is to see if its listed in ShenzhenAudio. This has never failed me in the past and I find it curious that they don’t stock TaoTronics products.

        • +1

          Here's another review to consider.

    • +1

Agreed. I keep up with chifi too and this model is basically unknown. If you search around head-fi there's literally nothing mentioned. The reviews for these units seem overhyped. Majority of reviewers seem to NOT have a background in reviewing audio tech… In saying all that, i've bought a pair since they're so cheap lol. I love me some chi-fi :D

      • Awesome, someone who shares my opinion! I hate to interfere with Xev's business. He contributes a lot to these forums but as someone into audio, I'd be cautious with the audio products.

To Xev, maybe get Jude from Headfi or a prominent person from Stereo to try a sample. Personally, I would love to know more about sound sig and frequency response.

        • +1

Hey Mate, I have just had a very quick look into what you are saying.

Apart from a couple of small third-party sellers, SunValley markets and sells their products themselves, concentrating on Amazon's platforms. This is probably why you don't see them through the sources you have mentioned above.

The reasons I decided to do their posts on OzBargain for them is that they sell their own products, they have a good range of well-received products, they have good customer service and they have a lot to offer OzBargain in the future.

I will forward your recommendation to send samples for review to the sources you mentioned.

If there is ever any problem, feel free to message me and I will speak to the Rep for you :)

  • Hoping to see the BH-033 in-ears come in stock soon!

  • Bought a pair. Nice to see a reasonable price for this product.

Bose and Sony are good units but too expensive. The cost of production must be a small fraction of what they charge. Many other examples of overpricing of course such as Iphones. Sanity will prevail one day. Until then they charge what they can get away with.

  • Can TaoTronics TT-BH04 use with skype ?

  • Thanks OP, got one.

  • Any1 had issues with the bluetooth one with spotify? Mine starts and stops every few minutes(you stop hearing anything in the middle of a song). Had to manually stop a song by clicking pause in spotify then click start again.

Never had the issue when I had wired.

  • i bought the TT-BH047 from the sale a few weeks ago and was very impressed. it works very well and the build quality is high, especially for the price. cant go wrong. noise cancelled the crap out of an airbus a330

    • Are these different to the ones in the deal? (TT-BH040)
