Could you please specify in the title that its for sydney only?

    • And put it at the start of the title - after all, if it's in Sydney, a lot of people aren't going to read any further.

      It's just common sense.

  • Also note this is for parramatta branch only and not all hogs breath cafes.

"Only 500 vouchers available in this offer" then "558 Bought", will some people miss out?

  • I wouldn't count the $20 voucher, it probably has a minimum spend.

A good deal though, shame its only in Sydney.

Anyone who can eat more than just a main meal at hoggies…wow…

Was a little excited until I saw it was for Sydney

    • +3

A mega cut doesn't come close to filling me up and I would get two or three mains if it wasn't so expensive. I just can't justify spending $90 for a steak dinner when I can cook a kilo of t-bones at home for under $20

      • +2

        speechless……

  • +3

Yeah, would be good to put Sydney on the title so people in other states don't get excited and then disappointed by it (I was one of them). Was looking forward to eating Byron Bay Chilli Prime Rib Steak :(

who in their right mind would pay $146 to eat at Hog's Breath ?

    • I used to be part of a group that would smash $700 on the table at hoggies per sitting.

We would go about every two months and basically…you couldn't miss us. Hoggies took care of us then the meals started going to crap, they thought they could treat us woefully, partially cooked meat, cold veggies, stuck together luke-warm fries. Two of those kind of meals and we went elsewhere. If I put my mind to it I can cook a meal better than Hog's breath for a bit less.

      Sorry…I'm going on…

  • Hogs Breath is the bomb, pity the offer's not in WA

    • +2

      The Bomb?
Wow, the ninties really keep on giving…

      • Early 2000 you'd get your arse beat down for saying that. I think those terrorists kind of ruined it all for us…

      • lol maybe I should have said da bomb as I still do hear that expression in current movies and tv shows :0)

Nothing wrong with the 90's ;0)

  • Valid in Parramatta Restaurant only…:(

  • the link seems to be wrong. No such offer is available

  • +1

Good grief that is a lot of food. I think it would feed a family of four. No booze though.

  • Parramtta only expired on may 11th but must be used from may 11th ? Only certain days I'm guessing ahead and saying you wont get a booking after purchase and therefore waste your Money

As far as food deal goes this is nothing special. I recently bought a Tony Roma deal, all you can eat BBQ spare ribs for $15. For $49, you should expect to get a 3 course meal for two at a proper Italian restaurant somewhere in Leichhardt, Haberfield or even Surry Hills. Indian and Thai cost a bit less, which usually come between $30-40. Pizza and burger deals are generally under $20.

    Logs breath.
Ive heard stories of them serving food that fell on the floor. The chain is over-priced and unhealthy meat and their quality has dropped significantly. Go to a real steak restaurant…

    • +1

I agree…. used to like hogs breath, but quality fell significantly over the past couple of years…. last 3 I ate in were Adelaide, Hobart and Gold Coast…..all were pretty poor.
(I did get a discount in the Hobart one because the steak had more fat than meat on it….. a huge big yellow blob right in the middle)

      I wouldn't eat at hog's breath again.

Ate at Glenelg SA. No handwash in the bathrooms which the staff also used. Got extremely bad food poisoning from that visit. Service was extremely slow. The time before that we left because they sat us at at a table and we waited 30 minutes and they still didn't take our order. Won't be back.
