SCA Industrial Grade Poly Tarp - 2.4m X 3.0m $9 (Was $25) @ Supercheap Auto

510

That's right Ackbar, it is indeed a tarp.
It may be on the small side, but it is thick. Very thick. Not the paper thin cheapies you usually see. They have the little square of material sample on the outside, it felt decent so I bought a couple. I knew they were a couple because they were holding hands.

Uses include a multitude of tarp related things. Including, but limited to, the covering of other things up to the size of said tarp.

Splurb from SCA site:

SCA Industrial Grade Poly Tarp - 2.4m X 3.0m (8 X 10), 270GSM, Blue
Features
Dimensions: 2.4 x 3.0m (8 x 10)
270GSM
Treated to resist sun damage
12 Polycarbonate eyelets, spaced 90cm apart
Stronger, lighter and more durable than PVC
Twice the strength of PE tarps
Reinforced corners
Reinforced heat sealed hem

Price in store still showed $25, scanned at $9.

That is all.

EDIT:
So, it would seem others were not as lucky as myself and RtN in finding stock. Mods, feel free to remove if you see fit.

Edit, edit:
They do indeed exist in the wild. Mods, there may be no need to remove it.

Wow, Supercheap finally stopped hosting their website on one of their cash registers. It's actually usable now. Good work guys!

    • I remember refreshing their site for 30 minutes to do a click-n-collect once. It was terrible.

  • SC online stock numbers are generally completely off. I've lost count of the number of times I've bought stuff online, gone to pick it up and, when waiting to get served, wandered around the shop only to see multiples of items their website claimed wasn't in stock in that shop. Often it's not on sale either, somehow.

A cynic might suggest it's not accidental.

Anyway, call your local branches and ask them to check on the shelf.

awesome. thick tarp, duct tape, knife, bone saw.. all good..

    • Don't think you will need the knife or saw as it is a good size to cover it whole.

      • 2.4 m = 8 feet.

sometimes need capacity for 10 feet.

        • +2

          You're in luck, 2.4m = 8 feet
hey you changed it! well 3.0m = 10 feet :-)

        • +3

Get 2 and you'll have 2 extra pairs of feet

Edit: solved in this post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/413462. Had to enter billing address manually instead of selecting from dropdown menu. Too strange! Thanks go to Andrewk35
