  • That's pretty good. They don't hold up well over time, but really good mouse. Bought (core) for $69 almost 4 years ago, it's shedding rubber around the thumb grip and I don't really use it much.

I've got the original, the one before they went RGB and doubled the price, had it for at least 5 years. It's still in decent condition and I use it everyday. The rubber sides are a pain to clean but they are still intact on mine, the only noticeable degradation is the finish on the mouse wheel has worn off of the ridges.

Had the G9 before that and that thing fell apart in half the time I've had this so I'm pretty happy with it.

      • Interesting! My wheel looks as new, like I said I don't use it loads, perhaps a few times a week. The rubber is falling off in chunks. Oh well will give it another go at this price.

        • The rubber on mine has worn down to the plastic underneath, i use it daily though for about 4 years.

      • That's strange to hear. I have the G9 that I've been using daily since 2009. Only thing that was an issue is the scroll wheel doesn't always register.

    • also had mine for a good 3-4 years and its still flawless, brilliant mouse

      • I must be doing something wrong haha

    • That was an issue with my M525. Just went on eBay, bought a scroll wheel replacement for $2 and did a change

  • Is it claw or palm grip?

  • Has anyone price matched Newegg at Jb-Hi-fi/EB Games?

    • Not tried but I am not sure if they will price match

Yeah saw that. The above doesn't seem promising but I guess I'll ring em both up and try my luck. Nice find mate.

        • Any luck with Officeworks? I doubt they would price match either

    • +1

I tried to get jbhifi to price match the same mouse a few months ago MSY at $72, they wouldn't do it, said its too low. Could be depending on the store manager though.

    • Try officeworks

    • Got them to price match at least to $78 for Harvey Norman yesterday for the G502. Which they definitely will do. https://harveynorman.com.au/logitech-g502-proteus-spectrum-g…

  • Does anyone know when this deal ends? Want to wait for the black Friday deals before buying

    • This is a pre black friday deal so not sure

    • I doubt it's going to get any cheaper .

  • Oh boy, and I just bought one from HN for $78. Oh well

    • buy this and give it back to HN. Or have a spare.

      • Christmas present for my son, so at least I have peace of mind: last thing I ordered from NewEgg, was a barely packed hard drive which failed when I formatted it and had to wait for a replacement, from the manufacturer.

        • When I ordered a monitor from them, they just sent the monitor in the original monitor box. Slapped the delivery paperwork on it. Lucky the monitor itself was packed well inside the box. Not sure if that was the norm, or if they did it because of the decent packaging.

    • Did same thing through Ebay as brother broke his……

  • Love this mouse, price matched at Office work's 2 weeks ago around 83 bucks with Mwave.

  • Why is it that they charge another $2 on top of GST? Customs duties or something?

    • +1

Dont know mate but I will update the price anyway

Recently got this, very happy with it. At this price, the only reason you'd consider something else is if you are left handed.

    • Or if you want wireless like me. I have a G603 which is awesome.
Great price for this mouse anyway.

    • +2

Plenty of reasons for wanting anyone of the other hundreds of mice.
      Size
      Shape
Weight (G502 is a bloody brick)
      wireless
      sensor
      switch type

  • Great price. Picked it up yesterday!

  • Danggg already got a Hyperion fury one :/

  • Amazing mouse, been using it for 4 years and still runs strong. I'd definitely get it at this price if you're looking at responsive and smooth PC gaming :)

I just gave a call to officeworks and they said they can price beat this mouse so you guys should be able to get this mouse for about $53 from officeworks just check if it's in stock at your local store.

    • I gave a call to them earlier and was told they couldn't price beat because the model number didn't match.

      Will give it another try

      • I called the number on this page: https://www.officeworks.com.au/information/policies/price-be…
The women I spoke said she could either order it online for me with the better price and I use my card or I go into a store that has it in stock and they will beat the price there.

      • Same issue here. After being on hold for 15 minutes the lady on the phone said the model number was different and they wouldn't match.

        • I tried again and was successful. Got it for $51.20.

        • Yea same. First rep said cant be done. Spoke to another one and he did it no questions asked. Also waived the delivery charges for me.

  • Great mouse, bought the core 3 years ago for $48.

  • Grabbed one! Cheers OP!

    • Also credit to WinstonWithAY for posting this in the comments of the above post.

    • Why? Its not the same store.

      • Read the post, it's Newegg.

        • +2

          Huh? It’s for Harvey Norman.
I see a comment about this deal.

  • I like this mouse although the software to manage macros and such "Logitech Gaming Software" is glitchy at times. It is a bitch to clean the rubber sides but after a year, no wear and tear has occurred on the rubber.

    • Yep agree, Logitech have great hardware, terrible software.

      • I would welcome any suggestions to an alternative to manage my mouse

  • Personally don't like this mouse too heavy for my liking

    • I own one. You can change the weights inside it. Make it as heavy or light as you wish.

      • +1

He means the base weight of the mouse even without extra weights. It's very heavy compared to most mice.

I understand some people do like that however.

        • Yep even without weights too heavy for what I like

  • Bummer. I bought this from EB Games for $89 a couple of weeks ago. Should have waited a bit longer.

  • Ordered. Thanks!

  • Great got it price beat by Officeworks! Thanks OP!!

  • Bought! You can never have too many mouse buttons on FFXIV. :p

  • +1

Any similar wireless mouse for reccomendation?

  • My local officeworks is (profanity) useless they never have anything in stock.

  • $56.17, update title please. :p

    • Are they increasing the price? = D

  • Wat a fu##ing mouse! 👍🐀

  • Amazing mouse. Not too durable; first thing to go if throw or forcefully used will be the middle button spring. RMA service is very fast. Nice fit for big hands. Maybe a bit large and heavy for some.

    16/10 would break again!

  • +1

How does the warranty works? Do I have to send back to USA?

  • its out of stock now and cancel my order

  • Ouch I just paid $89, cheapest just a couple wks ago…
