  • Perfect to pair with Plex - thanks!

    • plex on what??

      • Yep - it's not officially supported so you'll have a hard time getting it to work nicely.

    • I have both Plex and this product. Both don't work together. Windows cannot use it even though it can see it as what it is.

      • yeah thought so. the Plex Supported DVR Tuners and Antennas page says Hauppauge Freeview HD TV for Xbox One but the happauge product page shows something totally different to what this product is.

i grabbed one of these on the last deal but can't get it working on much else but the xbox

      • We bought it for Plex after seeing this guide
Have you tried the steps here?

We are running Plex on Linux which apparently has good support for it, I'm not sure about Windows though

  • Do these work with the Nvidia shield?
The American version seems to work but not sure in oz

    • Yes

      • This works as a usb tuner as far as I know.
Plenty of posts of people using it on the nvidia shield in the US but there was a limitation of the software in Australia.
Pretty site it should work on any usb device with the right drivers

    • no they dont

  • If you can get the Crazycat driver sorted out for LibreELEC (especially for AML), these tuners are MUCH better on sketchy DVB-T signals than the Sony Play TV tuner or most others.

I've just bought another as a backup to the one I currently use.

Thanks, got one for the One X I just bought. Don't know how much use it'll get but for $11 why not.

  • Not sure if related, but five days after ordering this using my credit card, fraudulent transactions started popping all over my account. Blocked them and cancelled the card, but would be nice to know where they got the details from and this company is my main suspect.

  • Anyone received their orders yet? Just wondering how long it takes to come.
