Ah Sendle! They never picked up my parcel and contact is only by email.. with 8 (working) hour response time! Never again.

In my area, if its Sendle/ Couriers Please, its fine.
If its Sendle/Fastways you are screwed - they just don't come the nominated day! Not once all year - have to write in and get a ticket and blah blah . Just hopeless

..3 days later they were still 'scheduling pickup'

      • +2

Yep, the worst of Fastway coupled with no way to get in contact in any timely manner. Regardless how cheap it's just not worth it.

So what I can gather, the minimum effort/cost to get the points is to spend $6.80 and wait around until the courier picks up the parcel? You’re buying Velocity Points for 0.34 cents each in that case.

With no method to drop off a parcel myself when I choose, I can’t see myself taking up this offer.

You don't need to be home when they collect

  • yep..i have used them a few times….they have not once collected on the day they say they are going to.

That said…does not really bother me…just sits outside until one day it disappears.

In all honesty i would skip using Sendle.

When i went to use them i found out claiming insurance costs $100 excess. So if your package get's lost or damaged then if the value is under $100 then forget it! If it package is worth $100 then it will cost $100 to claim $100 .. wtf !!!

The most ridiculous insurance policy i have seen!

I just paid extra and used Australia Post.

Wow so many negative reviews! On the contrary my experience with them has been really positive. I sell things on eBay quite often and use Sendle for shipping out the items, never had any problems. Cheapest prices with top notch service (in my area atleast).

    • positive no fuss experience too, pickup on time and delivered super quick (bris to melb arrived in 2 business days)

  • Anyone know a good parcel service to get a shoebox sized parcel to England before Xmas?

Can u just pay to get the 2000 points or do u actually need to send something?

Legit question as many people have paid for wilson parking and not showed up just to qualify for the 10k velocity points promo

Just send something to a friend.

  • Can you just send an envelope or are there packaging requirements?

  • Just tried to send via Sendle and 4 days later my parcel still hasn't been picked up. Customer service is atrocious and doesn't have a call centre. Refuses to refund my shipping cost too. I am baffled at the good reviews they receive on Product Review and wonder if they are all bought!!

  • i use dashboard.temando.com and regularly find Fastway to be the cheapest - better than Sendle in a lot of cases

  • Used Sendle twice without any issues. Parcel picked up and delivered promptly.

  • Signed up and set up collection for 31st to take advantage of this and the 10,000 velocity points promo but they have "delayed" my collection until the 2nd Jan, I wonder will this impact the points considering it says "Velocity members who send their first parcel with Sendle between 4th and 31st December 2018 will earn an additional 2,000"

    • I thought this was going to happen to me also, luckily they picked up on the 31st though, but I’m sure if you contact them they will approve it for you.

      • They took payment on the 31st and the official tracking still weirdly says pickup on 31st, it was just a small notification that linked to nothing that said pickup on the 2nd. Doesn't give me much faith in using the service when I actually need it. I just thought may as well get something out of it rather than signing up for phantom parking with Wilson to get the 10k points :)
