      Slight Hijack.

      To anyone having either "we ran into a problem and PayPal isn't available right now." or the other paypal error after checkout is clicked, call PayPal. I've confirmed with the help desk that this is an additional security measure applied on some accounts and there is no user ability to override it. Once the help desk overrode this measure for me, I was able to purchase this item.

      TLDR - Solution: Call help desk and ask them to override security measures preventing purchase. No self help available.

      Just be very careful which Gift cards you buy.

      There is going to be pain the in new year when some companies close up (business writers are talking about this already), and we have another Dick Smith Gift card on our hands.

      I like most will have no idea who these are, so while I love these giftcard discounts, I am limiting my purchases to brands that give me the widest use . eg Wishcards (and thats an Example not a recommendation)

      Another tip is to use this on cards that arent discounted regularly or have lower discounts. Another example is Jetstar where according to the Ozbargain wiki is avaialble at 4% from limited sources, so 10% off is a better bank for buck, than say RedBalloon at 8%

      Keep that dummy UK address you used for registration, only change the primary delivery address to AU address!!!
      If you changed both addresses and you can't apply this code!

          Nothing to worry..GC works even if you eBay account gets flagged after buying.. many of us got 2-3 or more ebay uk accounts
          Also, you can always resolve issue with eBay support with some excuse or leave it like that & create another.
