  • This is actually an ok offer since they are $1.38 including postage from HK on eBay and will take 2 weeks to arrive. I got one from eBay for a friend for syncing his phone to his tower computer, which doesn't have BT unlike a laptop.

got one of these from catchoftheday for $5..was thinking its cheap…but this is HELL LOT cheaper…i am not going to shop there anymore

    • +3

Anything that makes people realise how dodgy Crap of the Day is deserves an up-vote.

    • CatchOfTheDay is accurately named…. we will catch you out on crappy bargains every day.

Cant get the online payment to work. Is it me? Tried with two cards……..

    • Try clearing your browser's cookies.

      • +1

Sorry, no good. Cleared the cache, cookies, different cards.

      • +2

Pro tip: Unless you're some seriously dark magic, clearing cookies, cache etc should make absolutely no difference to checking credit cards.

I'd avoid this lot if they're suggesting things like that.

  • +2

Hmm, would suck a bit to be one of the ones getting the 3rd type.

    • Yep, wouldnt be impressed if no.3 turned up in the mail lol

    • we don't have many no.3 in stock. Mainly no.1 and 2.

      • number 1 looks just like the nano receiver from Logitech and number 2 looks like the typical yum cha special you get from Dealextreme/ebay etc

  • clearance of the day … expires in 2d 00h 55m 23s …. ??

The security code you entered did not match the one displayed. Please try again (Case sensitive).

        stuff this deal

i expect 2 for this price now, due to the effort and time i wasted

    note

    read the fine print

"the coin is a reference for the size only, it is NOT included"

    • NICE!

    • damn… you mean I cant buy a $2 coin for 99c????

I was ready to take out a huge loan and double my money! ;)

      • -1

You can in NZ!! … ???

I don't think this is real guys. It looks like a hoax.

"I am in Mars, does ClearanceOfTheDay ship to me?
No, we only ship to a place on planet Earth called Australia. We welcome any special orders, but please contact NASA first to see if they can drop it off for you. It may take 5-1000 years and the shipping charge can be a bit expensive."

And 2 days for a clearance of the day?

Also, it doesn't appear to accept your "captcha" codes. It may be using you to translate these to another site. I don't know, just seems fishy to me.

I wouldn't enter my credit card details.

Update: Just noticed this guy "Hello" has posted before, so it may be legit I guess.

  • Won't accept my CC

  • +1

IN that case, as some of us have tried several times and may be getting debited by them over and over, can the Overlords of OZ bargain verify if they are legit?

  • My CC was rejected too, and when I try to go to "My Orders History" page I get a SQL error.
I'm beginnning to regret giving them my CC now.

  • Happened to me as well… :(

  • +1

Hmm, looks like clearanceoftheday found a cheaper way to beta test their website than hiring a proper software engineer. :P

  • Where's the rep now when the site had gone kaput? Some explanations?

    • He's probably busy trying to fix the web site :)

  • I had no problems with registering and paying via Mastercard..

  • Is this a legit site? I'm concerned about the security of my CC details.

    • I had concerns at first. I looked at the old posts the "Hello" fella made and it appears that there have been other items sold and advertised on this site. The other items didn't appear to get bad feedback on hte comments. It's probably ok.

Looks like it's a new business trying to iron out the wrinkles. :)

  • +1

"deal" is unbuyable. Negging until this gets sorted out and the Rep returns with an update.

    • Agreed. They need to sort their dogy website out.

  • +1

And no answer online either so Neg also till we get some answers.

  • +3

    No Paypal?
Not giving out my CC details for a $1 dongle.
No good you. You number 10.

    • +1

      I concur

    • +1

why bother shop there… can get these on ebay for similar price http://goo.gl/MlQHO
also as this deal state random pick, they might send you all the big 1
bigger in this case not always better :)

  • +1

still the same. it says cc card details incorrect.

  • +1

lol you can buy the things for a dollar alone from other sites with free shipping.
