How it Works :
Make a new account at eBay UK to take advantage of this offer.

Add random UK address as registered address and use AU mobile to confirm account via SMS then add AU address as preferred/Primary Delivery Address .

Tip : Use Dummy email by using existing email to register at eBay UK without creating new email id.

Dummy email : [email protected] ( just try any combination starts with +) This works with Gmail. Haven't tried with other email services so do check before you buy.

Method explained by Ziggy28

1)Create a brand new account at ebay.co.uk , you will need an email; you can create a brand new gmail account or something

2)Once your UK ebay account is created, under account settings click on addresses to enter a UK address. To find a UK address, go onto google and search for random UK restaurants or bars or shops or anything. You have to enter a phone number too. I tried to enter my oz number, they accepted it. (But later it shows up as UK calling code +44, this won't matter though)

3)Once your address is added, go back to addresses, at the primary postage address, click change. Now you can add an australia address and details.

4)Start shopping for them gift cards. When you try to buy them, it might say this can't be delievered to UK, simply change it to your australian address and proceed.

5)Don't forget to enter the code!

          Yep they're the usual eWushcards you buy from say CashRewards. What smartypants above is doing is using ebay UK, to buy from Paypal Giftcards Australia (basically changing the url from ebay.com.au -> ebay.co.uk)

          But in theory it shoukd work for most things in the Oz eBay store. But giftcards are just great value

    The seller only allows buyers to purchase 5 items every 10 days.
    To buy a gift card, you need a US eBay and PayPal account.

        I don't know but i went into Caltex the other day and they didn't accept my gift card but i was able to earn reward point and use my 4c fuel voucher. May be there are some participating stores that accept it but i am doubtful.

    Followed the instructions with new UK ebay account linked to new gmail account. Initially set up with UK address and then changed mailing and personal address to aussie address. Loaded my Aussie PayPal account but when i'm trying to load the discoutn code am receiving error This code can't be applied to your order. I also tried loading a UK location via my "Unlimited VPN" extension in chrome (which is showing me as being located int he UK) and this still wont work.

    Any suggestions?
