Cigweld Prolite Striker Welding Helmet $145 Delivered @ Total Tools

40

I bought one of these recently and thought it was a pretty decent price for a helmet from a reputable brand. I initially bought a Bunnings one for $99 that was just terrible quality which was returned very quickly - wish I'd just gone for this from the start. Really clear viewing area, very easy to see the work when not dimmed. Nice and light, adjustments work well. Comes with a really nice bag for the helmet and spare lens covers.

Is this a discount on their normal price? Or is it the free shipping that makes it a good deal?

    • I'm not sure, but it's cheaper than the other colours/designs of this model on their website and cheaper than other stores. The free shipping helps.

    • anytime ive seen a sale on prolite its always been the striker helmet at $145 not always with postage

This is my go to el cheapo, one of the best lower end welding helmets I've used, light and you can fit a respirator under it. $89. Good visibility too welding MIG, TIG and Stick.
