    Amazon reduced the price to 327 at 8:15am and that deal lasted less than an hour I believe. Managed to grab one.

    I reccomend you all to get camelcamelcamel notifications. I did it and the second it came at that price I jumped online and bought it. Shows that the price came back again to 327 again at 9:20am but again that's finished. Someone at Amazon is having a lot of fun with us.

    Thanks OP. Grabbed one while it lasted. Missed the deal on Friday and felt bad. But got it this morning after frequent tries when the price kept changing on and off.

    My initial interest with these headphones was the wireless High-resolution audio (LDAC) feature. But I decided not to try it out as I thought the sound quality from the Sony NC Headphones would not be as good as a pair of quality wired headphones.
    When this LDAC technology comes to a pair of high end grade headphones (Sony brand is fine, I just don’t need the NC) I will give them a try.

        These are a little fancier than I was thinking.. Planar drivers? I was thinking a little lower down on the scale. Look like quality headphones for the price though. Would be a good buy on sale.
        No need for that 3D audio stuff personally, but it seems like people aren’t buying it for that feature.

        Interesting they targeted the gaming market.. Good to see Sony licensed it.
        Interested for future LDAC products.

        EDIT: I like the understated look, compared to their other headphones.

    Also: I think it’s an algorithm that’s inflating/reverting the prices. So with every X number sold the program changes the price. This would ensure better profit for the seller than just clearing them out.

    I can expect this kind of technology being used by Amazon (robots/AI) and other companies in the future.
    PS: I received a package from Amazon AU once, and I swear it was packaged by a robot. For the product it was packaged very oddly, as if a robot scanned the product and had chosen to package it oddly, as if it was a bit confused about what the product was.

      Add the product link from Amazon website.
      Put an ammount you will be happy with. I've gotten notifications of the price going up and down at least once a day, sometimes very late at night. The second you get that email buy it and get express delivery which is an extra 10bucks. You would have it the next day delivered. And as always don't forget cash rewards ;)

      It is decent enough but keep in mind it is Bluetooth quality. A $300+ dollar WIRED headphones will still easily be better audio quality. People buy these mainly for the noise cancellation.

    Was gonna get these to replace the MDR-1000x (headband finally cracked after 2 years) but supposedly these have a flaw in cold or windy weather? I'm hoping the next gen fix the poor microphone quality.

      Back again $327 if you are quick.

      $327 is the Amazon price, $402 is the third party seller (mobileciti) price. So when it goes out of stock from Amazon for $327 it will show you the $402 Mobileciti price.

      It's going in and out of stock multiple times per day.

    Are people buying sets of these/the Bose equivalent like once a week or something? We seem to have a new listing for one or the other every day over the last couple of years. Surely everyone in the market for $300+ headphones well and truly has a pair by now? I know they are very good ANC headphones, but there really can't be this big a market for them?!

    I managed to see them at 327 yesterday as I was out and about. Walked to the local JB who instantly price matched without a hassle.

        Probably best to google it. I found my answer on a Motorola forum. Even though the android update gives the option for ldac, if the hardware doesn't support it then you are probably out of luck. If I use the Sony app on my phone and enable it's equaliser, the best I get is SBC or aac. If I don't use it then I can only get aptx.

    Notable zipper pull upgrade on the case from cloth to metal.

    The noise cancelling (much better noise gate when silent) and ear cups are also better!

      In December I ordered the PS4 dualshock Sunset Orange controller which had delivery in "2-3 months" but it was shipped within 4 weeks.
      Just depends on when they are due to receive their stock.
