Just saw this from their twitter account.
$15 Coupon, Valid today only.
Probably a decent deal for those that can pickup from their warehouse or you can look at it as free shipping..
I got a WD20EARS 2TB for $77.99 after the $15 discount..
though shipping was $15.56 so that wiped that out.
Considering I live in a rural area, I think that's a decent price for those of us who can't pickup from MSY.
Urgh. 0.85% "Paypal Surcharge" though.

        I paid $94.34 incl delivery for a WD20EARS 2TB, only $5 or so more than Megabuy at the lowest price I can see on staticice at$89.70..

        I've managed to buy one for $0.01!
        Its really wierd, the game is $14.99 minus $15 bonus
        Still they charged me 1 cent and ofcourse thats why could'nt pay via Paypal

        But successful via Credit Card

        Lets hope they will honour this

    Hmmm, I'm dropping a neg as it's pretty clear Mwave are bumping up prices in response to this promotion.

    That and their shipping costs are retarded. Tried to get 1500MS points card, $10.50 shipping within Sydney?! It's maybe $5 registered post in a padded bag!

      We currently is using AAE (www.aae.com.au) for our shipping so we don't have that $5 registered post paddle bag as AAE is not Australia Post.

        My office's courier charges around $7 for local deliveries and we ship maybe 10 packages a day. Given the volume you must do each year it's hard to believe you don't have a better deal in place.

      I'd say they've realised their mistake and gotten rid of anything like that by now, as evidenced by the ridiculous price changes on the Company of Heroes games as stated above.
      If you're close enough to pickup you may be able to score a freebie but I wouldn't count on it.

        The company heros is sold out thats why the price went up. We have a system where if the special finish i.e. the qty is all sold then it changes back to normal RRP.

        Also we have removed the game from out website now, because we cannot get it anymore as well.

        If you believe we are changing the price of $15 items to $20 then you can check what was the price on www.staticice.com.au or www.shopbot.com.au

          What i am trying to say if you order an Item and its sold out but we can still get it then we will honor it. But if we cannot get the item because its not being manufactured anymore then we would have to cancel your order.

          You have to be place the order between 20/4/2011 (12pm) - 21/4/2011 (2pm) and use the coupon code. Then we will honor it.

          I ordered a $15 game at ~1:30pm today (proof as the invoice hit my inbox at ~1:30pm), but my invoice says: "Invoice Date: 4/20/2011 9:25:54 PM".

          Is this some dodgy way for you to dishonour the discount?

          EDIT: Ha, nevermind. I read Mwave's comment as 12pm and 2pm on the 20th, not a day apart!

    1500 Xbox Live points would turn out to be $11.30 before any surcharges. (pre-discount price $26.30 excluding delivery… that's pretty inflated considering it's $24 delivered from Game.)

        Oh well, it only works out be a $4.50 discount taking shipping into account. Mwave's prices seem to be far dearer than other retailers which doesn't make it worthwhile.

        If there's no minimum spend I guess they're giving away free 1M network cables for people who could be bothered.
