  • Anyone has their scooter shipped? I brought on the morning of 21 Jan, still no update to shipping.

    • Not mine

    • Ordered on the 21st as well. No news yet but it did say expected delivery date 30th or 31st January so not too worried about it just yet

      • True.. but it does something like shipped after 24hrs of receiving payment in the item description.

        • Also impatiently waiting. Not shipped.

          • +1

      • Mine just got shipped :)

        • Same. Mine is from NSW. Weird. Thought from Mel

          • @aznbob: I wrote back saying I was hoping to get it before the long w/end and got this (but no shipping info for me yet… damn):

    • Anyone got a proper tracking number?
Got a 6 letter track which aust post dont recognize

      • +1

They use Sendle. Go to their tracking page and paste it there.

        • Hmmmm… yet they state Aus Post on the listing!
I had mine as a PO box and the store rep emailed me today asking for a proper address.
Anyone know what happens with Sendle if you aren't home.. is there a pick up point or you have to re-book delivery?

  • Inokim OX Super

  • Question for those with this scooter or similar other. What is a suitable distance to use this comfortably as a regular mode of transport. I live 13km from work and am thinking of scooting the whole way on fairly flat ground. Of course would probably have to charge it at work but that seems fine. More concerned that it'd be a tiring commute in?

    • Lots of tire replacement I see

    • Why would it be tiring? Thought these just scooted along with little need to push?

      • According to some reviews, it can be tiring standing up for 30-40 mins with bumps on the road etc…versus being on a seated scooter or ebike…

    • Rode 11km in about 30 mins the other day on my m365 on a Brisbane bikeway and can confirm that it was pleasant and easy, but you do feel a little bit of strain between the shoulder blades and in your legs after both steering and standing up for so long. I bought mine to replace the commute from home to train which is about 5 km round trip (both ends of the train journey) - although, being an office worker, I dont think I would want to do it every day, as it makes you sweaty in summer, and is some effort. That said, it's amazingly fun and gets me outdoors enough to feel extremely pleased i bought it.
P.S. Buy tyre Slime and keep them pumped up fastidiously to avoid flats as much as possible.

  • Mine just arrived (Brisbane). I'm so excited to take it for a spin.

    • You placed your order in 21st am ?

      • Ordered at 1pm on 21st

    • Lucky! Did you check sendle? Did it ever change from "In Transit" to something else before getting delivered?

      • Mine just arrived as well :)

        • Missed delivery, waiting next week for redelivery 😥

    • First glitch… There's no AU plug in the box; only EU. I have plugged the EU charger into my xiaomi power strip. I hope that's ok.

    • Awesome! Buy tyre Slime and keep them pumped up fastidiously to avoid flats as much as possible. Flats mostly come from pinching between tyre wall and tube, so sufficient air is essential - so i've heard.

  • Has any brought or can recommend a good storage bag for the scooter? Like this one - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Portable-Oxford-Cloth-Scooter-Ba…
    But maybe better quality/better looking.

    • Why storage ?
Wouldn't you be using it all the time, if not, would be being charged.

      • I live in a small 1 br apartment, need it keep it in my room stored away when i'm not using it.

  • Got mine today.

Did anyone else receive 2 x extra thick tyres that look they wouldn't fit the scooter (unless they are a pimp me up upgrade set)?

    • Still waiting for my delivery like a little kid. I've already ordered a rear light cable protected and rubber dampers for the folding mechanism. How is it? Did yours come with au plug?

      • Yeah mine suprisingly came a few hours ago.. its pretty good! just went and pick up my mail which is around 1km.. need a little fanny pack on the front though. Nah no AU plug but the manuals inside seem to be english!

Where did you get your accessories from?

      • +1

Have ridden mine 60km since NYE, no wobbly in the folding mechanism yet, it takes time. I have my dampers for the day it does loosen. Mine came with EU plug, i think all do?

    • +1

Awesome! International version comes with those two tyres, mine did. I believe the square nature of them is simply the lack of air in them??

      P.S:

Buy tyre Slime and keep them pumped up fastidiously to avoid flats as much as possible. Flats mostly come from pinching between tyre wall and tube, so sufficient air is essential - so i've heard.

  • I reached out to Vicroads about rules surrounding escooters, and they responded that the National Transport Commission NTC is running a review paper and accepting submissions. This appears to be national policy.

    https://www.ntc.gov.au/submissions/

I suggest all those here who are interested in having a voice heard and advocating the legalisation of e-scooters nationally to write in with their submissions, due by 28th Feb 2019.
