      Perhaps just increasing the humidity in a dry room already carries those benefits, and the oils are just to make the room smell pretty.

    Got this one for my wife and Xmas and we're both happy with it.
    The various oils smell great when it comes to heading to bed and relaxing and it goes out into the family room occasionally and leaves a subtle scent in the air.

    I personally suffer from hay fever and I don't sniffle all night in the bedroom now. Not sure if it's the slightly moist air or not that does it.

    Regardless of all the claims of what it does, we do find it helps to us relax and we need that with 6 kids in this house.
