      Delivery window was 8.45-9.45pm last night. No one rang the apartment intercom. We left our building this morning to find out they were left outside the entrance on a main street. Luckily all items are still there.

        Your order will be left on your doorstep, so you don't need to be home. You'll get an email from Coles when your order's ready to go so you'll know approximately when to expect it.

        This delivery method may not be suitable for people who live in an apartment complex or don't have a secure home entrance.

    I don't doubt all the issues in here at all but there are bargains for some.

    I just brought a shitload of nappies for 25% off (and the price listed was 13% off Coles Online, cheaper than woolies, bigw, amazon…). So yeah, those were a cracking bargain.

    Very strange comments.
    I placed my order early morning.
    The price were the same as in the physical store.
    Not huge variety of goods but there are many bargains after you use the discount code.
    The best buy would be Coles branded products.
    Some great examples:
    Coles Fairtrade coffee beans 1kg $9 after discount.
    So Soft 3 Ply White Toilet Paper
    Coles So Soft 3 Ply White Toilet Paper 24 pack $6.37 ( this paper is as good as Quilton).

    My refund for out of stock items was paid to the email address in my ebay name, which was different to my paypal account. It was for the full price of the out of stock item, not less 25%.

    I still haven't got my refund - checked the paypal account used - no refund. Checked another paypal account we use - no refund. Checked the email address on paypal that is used for my ebay username (as per Minnie's tip), no refund. Lodged a case - no notes provided, just ruling in Coles' favour. Appealed the case and within an hour, again it was ruled in Coles' favour with no notes. Now on the phone to Ebay, after being on hold, told me they need to contact the Ebay staff member that sent the refund confirmation to me but she is not in the office. Update is promised for Monday.

    Coles on Ebay - never again. I've actually contacted Coles directly too (two times) and they promised a refund in 3-5 days (which never arrived).

      My refund email was from PayPal titled “eBay Marketplaces GmbH has sent you $9.80 AUD”. If you have an email with a similar title, and you can work out the email address it was sent to, you should find the PayPal refund may have been sent to this email address, even if there is no PayPal account attached to it. Bizarrely it wasn’t a refund but a payment so it didn’t go back to my credit card. I have never seen an ebay refund work this way. If this doesn’t work try a PayPal dispute.

        Ebay came good and emailed on Monday apologising for the delay and that I should receive the refund soon.

        Yesterday at 5:30pm, I received the refund. Completely unacceptable timeframe for refund, mama mia indeed.
