Looks like there was a lot less stock then stated, or just sold out extremely quick.

edit: by the looks of all the bing lee deals, they're only selling items they are trying to clear out.

Edit 2: my bad, looks like it appears as sold out if i'm in the no shipping zone.

That is a one of the best prices I've seen for a 2018 series 7 Hisense, unfortunately, they do not ship to Brisbane, and I dare say don't ship outside of Sydney.

  • God damn, here i thought $1300 was a solid price shipped to brisbane 4 weeks ago. As others said they dont ship outta Sydney but at $1156 this is a bloody fantastic price. Very happy with my 65p7

How's free TV look in it?

      • +1

Dont have it hooked to antenna.

I use it with switch, ps4 pro, the integrated netflix app. Cant complain.

      • +4

I’d say most SD free tv is going to look crap on any 4K tv sadly

      • bad, like its supposed to

  • Argh I just jumped on the $800 price last week when I needed one. Amazing price.

    Crushed…no postage to Adelaide :(

  • Great TV's. Happy with my hisense 65p7.great quality for the price.

Pity prices seem to keep going down south. Expect it to touch sub 1000 in a month's time.

  • Finished already

    • Depends on your area, in stock at many stores across Sydney.

  • Dammit. Sold out already, would have jumped all over there. Been waiting for the P7 for 1k for a while.

    • are you anywhere besides sydney? they don't deliever outside of it.

    • +1

Plenty of stock in Sydney that I can see when I do the C&C option.

  • +3

Almost worth the drive to Sydney ;)

    • +4

Bypass Sydney and come up to Brisbane for Hot and Spicy KFC all year round ;)

      • +1

So jealous! I'm even contemplating the drive from Adelaide just to get Hot & Spicy lol. Maybe pick up a TV on the way!

  • Anyone figured out how to sneakily get a price match in Melbourne?

  • Hisense 55p7 or Sony KD55X7500F ($80 more)? Decision!

  • +1

I can get a TV July but I feel this is going to be a better offer Now. Decisions decisions

prices should be similar or better by eofy

Anyone got an idea what the input latency is like? hoping for sub 30ms :/

    • It seems on the Hisense forums people were saying about 32ms. Not definite though but should be around that mark.

  • +3

For canberra folk, changing your postal address to NSW seemingly allows you to click and collect from the fyshwick and belco stores. Though I didn't complete the purchase.

What is this not shipping to Melbourne craziness??

    Do they personally deliver them??

  • I have the 55n7 purchased from last year. Very happy with the picture quality, still impressed with it everytime i turn it on.
Note that i changed the picture setting according to an online forum dedicated to these series

    • Any chance you remember which settings you went with? I've got some pretty bad blur issues with the 55P7.

      • Can you be more specific?

      • +1

I dont remember exactly but i tried almost all of the settings til i like it most.
Also, you have to use recommended setting of the M series or something, not the n6800 series. Search for it

  • Waiting for Samsung Qleds to come down

    • Why not LG OLED?

      • +2

Maybe because of burn-ins when one uses OLED as a PC monitor?

        • Maybe. It’s my understanding that modern OLED panels are much better with burn in.

          • @j1nx: according to the reviews they are not better, with a chance over 80+. However, new LGs have some kinda refresh/ pixels shifting technology to prevent this in the long run. Due to that, I wonder whether LG is more recommended as a monitor ?

  • Hmmm says code has expired!

    • Works fine, P20BING

  • How is this compared to the samsung nu7## ?

    • +1

Took a look at them in store recently. NU7100 has better design, menu, boots up faster and i believe it has much lower input lag. It probably has better support coming from Samsung.
Hisense p7 looks brighter, more contrast and has better value for money

  • Thanks

  • Is there click and collect available for the mouse?

  • Purchased 55P7, tried both Rockdale Plaza and Hurstville for C&C but resulted in Error codes: 70049 70084. Switched to pick up from Bing Lee Alexandria and transaction went through!

  • What is the usb media player like on Hisense TV's? It has been ages since I bought a TV but I went with LG last time largely because Sony and Samsung had cinavia protection on downloaded files. Is that still a thing?

    • Not sure but my 2 yr old M series Hisense seemed OK, tried a few xvids and mkvs before i moved to an nvidia shield, so id think these would be.

  • Tempted to upgrade to the 75” from 65

  • Any good for watching AFL?

    • No, it's still boring

  • How does this compare to the nu8000 by Samsung?

    • These go up against the nu7100. To compare against the nu8000 look at the hisense p8 range.

      • Thanks man, all these Aussie model numbers confuse the heck out of me

  • +1
