2nd Transaction : 1 gift card. Paid using the $90(rewards points) + $10 cash :D
So using this method, for $600 worth of eBay cards I should buy:
1st Transaction: 5 gift cards

Best method is to buy all with no points used all . Guarantees 10% back in points each card purchases and end results is squillions of pts to figure out best use latter . Another advantage is CC pts maximized as well . Don't forget to get your school charity stickers .
Eg method above buying 9 X $100 is only getting $90 in pts when could be getting $100 in pts with 10 X $100 .
As mentioned above, the last card will have 2000 points in the card. That is $90 + 2000 pts ($10) = $100.

In one transaction I used 15 x $100 cards plus a coupon
guys, double check that the card gets activated. one of mine had 'activation was not successful'. I got a refund for that one.
Does the receipt show "activation was successful" if successful? In my case, the lady at the counter just scanned the gift card and handed it to me. I asked her if activation was required but she said no.
You get the normal receipt for purchase and one small receipt for the activation. It says activation was succesful

both, docket say unsuccessful and lady pick it up too.
Edit: you will need the unsuccessful receipt to get refunded (coz I needed to go to the information desk for it)

I just purchased at a register, not self check out. And was able to use credit immediately for more gift cards.
I just bought x10 $50 cards in one transaction which gave me 10,000 reward points (=$50).
Then immediately purchased another x10 $50 cards in another transaction. The reward points were applied and I only paid $450.
This transaction earned me another 10,000 reward points (=$50) which I will use in a future purchase.

Plenty of $50 cards available in Parramatta Westfield WW. Over 50 I’d say. Make sure to look near the assisted checkouts. Most assisted checkouts have GC racks near the bottom where you leave out the shopping baskets.

$50 cards work fine, just get 1000 points instead (I bought 1x$100 and 1x$50 and received 3000 points)

Transaction 1: I bought 10x $100 cards for $1000, which gave me $100 credit.
Transaction 2: I bought 2x $50 cards, using my $100 credit.
Then I changed stores and repeated the process.
If there is a limit, it must be a 10 card limit per transaction.
PS: For the salty downvoter(s), store 1 had another 10 cards on the shelf and store 2 had another 14 on the shelf when I left. I could have cleaned out the first store, but I didn't.
