      Yes, they're a franchisee of Harvey Norman. They were once Mac1 which was also a Harvey Norman franchisee purchased from the fire sale after Dick Smith collapsed. Mac1 lost so much money that Harvey had to bail them out to the tune of almost 8 million and restructure everything. So… I guess keep buying these cheap Apple deals while you can :)

              @try2bhelpful: LOL! OK - you got me. I've always felt that the Rose Gold bezel made me look slimmer and I just had to have it!

              In all seriousness, as with others, I got the order confirmation after relenting and placing my order, so went off and ordered a cover, pencil and tempered glass protector. Only for them to email me the next day with their crud explanantion of how such a great deal saw them oversubscribed, so they would have to refund me.

              I ordered at 11.30pm on the night and they sold ten more after me. I think between Gerry Harvey and his stocktaker, Helen Keller, this is their payback to all those nasty professionals who want to buy things off them. I won't make the mistake again.

I didn't buy the beastie until we got the discount gift cards from Harvey Norman a few months later. I'm always nervous before mine is fully swaddled as well.

    For those of you wanting 256GB storage for movies on the road/sky, but dont want rose gold. You could invest in a Sandisk iXpand Flash Drive to store movies on. Then use the Infuse video app to watch the contents of the USB drive.

    64GB = ~$55
    128GB = ~$80

    Or just get yourself a black case and you will never see the rose gold I guess…

      Biggest differences would be:

      • Double the RAM, so good if you're multi-tasking.
      • TrueTone display with higher refresh rate (up to 120hz, which by all accounts is amazing)
      • 4 speakers vs 2 - good if you view without headphones
      • Support for Apple pencils if you want to use those

      Many sites still recommend the 2017 Pro over the current 2019 model of Air, even more so at these prices

    I checked it and it says "This seller is currently away, and isn't processing orders at this time. You can add this item to your watch list to purchase later."

    Is this just a way for them to stop accepting anymore orders, or is anything going to happen to my order?

      Nothing going to happen to my order, or it's not an order yet.
      You need to manually check quite often to be able to click "confirm to buy" when it's ready.

    I ordered a 256gb space grey in the original post. Soon afterwards, they messaged via ebay to say they'd actually run out of the space grey (even though my order was accepted and paid for) and would I mind changing to another colour. I chose silver and they said that was all done and confirmed.

    Fast forward to today and I'd heard nothing about it being shipped, so I contacted them again and was now told that they've actually sold out of all 256gb models completely. The reason given was that "we found out a few stores had incorrect inventory levels" and they said I could either change to another model entirely or get a refund. They also suggested the 512gb model was available with a discount coupon, as per this post.

    By the time I came to look at that option, their entire ebay site seems to have been put on hold. I suspect they have their stock levels all screwed up and even those which were purchased might not all be fulfilled. Interested to know if anyone else ran into this

      Yes, I ordered the 256gb rose gold wifi last night and was cancelled this morning. It got refunded. Just waiting for it to clear.

      I ordered the Cellular version instead (256gb rose gold) and that says its been shipped this afternoon.

      It’s probably a good thing to put their eBay site on hold until they sort out their stock levels.

    Today, two days after the purchase, they called to tell me they've sold me an item they didn't have in stock and offered a display iPad instead. Hopefully, it won't take long to get a refund. But the coupon expires today…

    I see I'm far from being the only unlucky here. Can we lodge a complaint to Ebay or something?

          Received mine today (Pro 256gb cell). Happy with it.
          It came all the way from Tassie to Syd.
          Battery was flat as a pancake so it could be quite old stock.

    I received my iPad Pro 10.5 64GB today. Apple box was not sealed and there were fingerprints on the iPad. No scratches on the screen though. Battery had 9% on it when I turned it on..
    Lightning cable missing but charger was included. Does it ship without cable? I guess not.
