Ever since the boost deal, Kogan, you’re dead to me.

    • What's the boost deal?

        • +1

Any idea if the data is split into smaller increments per month on Boost? I need a couple for my kids but don't want to have them burn the data to fast.

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: Annual data. Just limit data in settings.

            • +1

@Steptoe: Not with my kids lol, they're too tech savvy but zero common sense so they would both bypass that and burn it ASAP. I'll go with this deal with the 10% off codes mentioned below I think. Cheers though for the help.

              • @[Deactivated]: Put them on Belong for $10 and they’ll never run out, but might learn to ration.

    • The Boost deal only has 20GB data per month

    • Small please is no longer so small since it's 2.5x the data?

    • +2

if you got a chance to grab the 10% off Kogan giftcards, that make the Small plan down to $137.1

      • That makes it better value than the Boost $150 deal hmm…

        • Boost… Telstra full.

Kogan… Vodafones 2 coconuts joined with string.

A good choice if your phone doesn't have b28.

I Paid $228.30 for the 20gb Plan using TAXTIME Promo code =) don't think it's valid anymore tho

  • +3

    Isn’t Boost cheaper?

    • Yes, $15.10 cheaper on the XL deal. Boost is much better value for calling overseas but has only half the data of the Kogan deal

How about buying 5x Amaysim? Which turns out to be <$50 for 32 weeks, with 5GB every 4 weeks :-)

    • And on much better network

  • I had long since unsubscribed from their emails. Probably a year atleast and all of a sudden this shit hits my inbox randomly this afternoon.

    Lousy company.

  • how long does this deal go for? and when do we have to activate by?

    • I read June 17 somewhere 👀

    • Must use by 31/12/2019.

The deal doesn't actually end. There's a permanent link that advertises at this price all year round

      • Voucher expires at 11:59pm AEST on 31/07/2019

        • Oh thanks for pointing that out. Different to the one I bought for the same price

  • Sigh, my poor mum resigned via kogan's SMS 2 days ago on $150 deal with 3 gigs

    • Call up and lodge a complaint!

    • It should be automatically upgraded to 7GB as it is still the small plan. Have you checked the portal or the app yet?

      • my portal still has 3gb, plan started in January.

        • Yeah same.

  • Too bad I already bought the Catch Connect plan…

  • if you buy 3 of these https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/461309 the 7gb will cost 137$ right?

    • Yeah, you need access to 3 paypal accounts though

      • Have ordered 3 x gift cards now, will update you on progress

        • +1

          Can confirm $137.10 via 3 x $50 gift vouchers from 3 x PayPal accounts

          • @Tafe: i just got the $250 credit (purchased 5 x $50 paypal gift cards using 1 paypal account) for $225 cost (5 x $45). Thereafter, email received with link to the codes after 3 or so hours.

Then loaded the 5 x codes one at a time into my kogan account

Then purchased the $254.3 for 20gb plan with $250 credit and $4.3 paid with amex.\

Am browsing around kogan for possibly more goodies to buy via the gift card method.

  • How about coles 365 days pack? $130 for 45GB.

I just moved one of the kids to Belong.. did the $40 for $15 deal. Setup in between cycles on the 29th so he got 60 gig banked on the 4th. got a referral from a friend so $20 credit.
So 62gig for $15 over 3 months then $10 a month after that extra gig a month. Works out $105 a year 71gig. Prob refer his brother so make that $85 for one and $105 for the second one.
Yes the worry they eat the data in one day :) Although with Belong only on month to month so can move to something else.
