Great price if you need a 65". Snap that baby up.

Probably you won’t see any new LG Oled 65 at this price. At least for a year or so.

Great price! But doesn't ship to Melbourne :(

    • Great price but doesn't ship to Brisbane :(

  • This is a very good price. I have been following the original OLED thread for a few weeks. Specifically for this LG Model. I pulled the pin on a OLED65B8STB yesterday at JB-Hifi (VIC) for $2885. I saw the good deal back in Jan 2019 but the credit from the supplier is well done. If this offer was valid in VIC, I would of snapped it up. Well technically I would have missed it, as I brought it yesterday. Also note, The JB-Hifi List price has dropped from $3495 to $3295 just today. So it is very much possible they would be dropping it further given The newer E8 is listed at $3995. Anyway this is a great TV. I am very happy with it. Could get a bit cheaper with EOFY around the corner and the E8 close to it.

    • E8 and B8 are completely different range/series. It’s not old or new.

  • Anyone know how this compares with the LG OLED65B6T? A local store is offering that model for $2500 and wondering which is the better option

    • +1

The B6T is the 2016 model. This is the 2018 model. They typically iterate and improve the new-ish OLED technology year on year, especially when it comes to upscaling and image processing, so I'd go for this one if you can afford it.

I was offered a B7 65" display stock for $1700. Concern is burn in for display model. I would go as new as you can

    • B8 definitely.

  • Nice deal, hoping for the 55" model to go on special, 65" too big for my room.

  • This or the sony KD65X9500G for a light room?

    • Don't get an OLED if you're watching in a light room. Stick with a good LED like Sony, Samsung 8000 series or Hisense P7 or P8.

      • What is a light room I have heavy blinds but still get some glare in daylight at night I prefer to have a lamp on as well.

  • Hmm code is not being accepted although it's advertised

  • Worked for me this morning and I had a look and they have 61 units available so plenty of stock.

  • I hope Videopro match this deal for those of us outside of NSW. :(

  • I have this TV. It's really bad ay picking up wifi signal.

    • I am hooked up via 5ghz and it streams Ultra HD 4k. Router is on the other side of the house. Maybe try 2.4ghz.

    • CYS

    • I think that all LG have appalling Wi-Fi.
I purchased a 49 inch super LED from LG late last year, and have the worst WiFi anything I've ever used drops in and out constantly and only 10 metres from router.
