Please note the link might not work with chrome, I bought this with iphone.
Not sure weather the cashback offers applies.

EDIT
The deal is still on. I have change the link to the main CEPP page as it seems to work well and the deal is in the front page.
There are some other good deals too.
I got mine delivered within 3 days and gift card request accepted.

I tried that web link in both Chrome and Microsoft Edge and it both comes up as $2399. How you got $1299 i do not know. Maybe you need to be on a corporate IP address for the price to show?.

    • Sorry to hear that mate. Can you try your phone. It still comes up as 1299$ thru my phone

      • I tried it on my Moto G6 Play phone and it's $2399 in the cart. It doesn't work for me.

I bet this deal runs on some IP address based system which only works on connections from some certain corporate IP addresses. That is my theory.

    • It's working for me on Chrome for Win10. Just try on a mobile browser.

      • Not working. Strange. I am actually working for a company that is literally a corporate partner.

        • Are you logged on with one of the works IP addresses?. Instead of say your mobile phone providers IP address.

          • @hollykryten: I'm just on a Aussie Broadband IP address that might be within the range.

            • @Lucius7372: Strange then. I tried it on Chrome for Win10 and Edge for Win10 but on iiNet and it didn't work. I also tried it on the Vodafone network on my mobile phone without success.

          • @hollykryten: I was using a work HP laptop when I clicked the link

Not sure weather the cashback offers applies.

It's sunny here today, as it is down your way.

Ha ha ha! Cheers. I might leave it as is.

Not working for me. Tried on Edge, Firefox, iPhone, iPad and Samsung Browser

Same here. It has to be corporate IP addresses based and if you aren't on it then no corporate discount.

      • Wouldn't most corporate IP addresses be static? Very hard to run a lot of basic infrastructure without.

I think what actually happened is the corporate URL generated a cookie that allows the store to show corporate pricing. HP have caught on and have now stopped that from happening so any new clicks won't see corporate pricing while those who did prior to the change will.

That's how a lot of stores do it with eDMs (email newsletters) and affiliate networks (cashback sites) etc. Had I clicked earlier I would have been able to confirm easily ;)

        • Pretty sure the redirect server just couldn't cope with our traffic. I haven't looked into code but suspect the session is issued a token in memory rather than a cookie, IP check, email domain check, or account permission check. Link is up again

fyi, HP 3 year 3 day Onsite Desktop Service was $75

  • Works for me. Optus network. Samsung browser

    • Was this from a work IP address. Or is it a personal internet IP address?.

I'm just wondering to see if it might be corporate IP address related.

      • Personal. Using my s10 at home

        • +1

So it's got nothing to do with an iPhone or Android phone or corporate IP address then. Yet it works for some on certain ISPs and not others.

      • Personal not corporate IP.

  • Our site is temporarily unavailable due to maintenance. this I'd what I got trying to browse the online shop. 2399 for me with the direct link anyway.

    $2,399 for a a 1060.. You cannot be serious

Just placed my order on my iPad with Optus network to get cashback.
    Don't think it's a targeted offer tho.

  • Not working for me on either desktop or mobile.

  • Not working anymore.

    • Still working in mine. May be because of cookies.

FYI the corporate link is working again. HP talking to mods about how to post deals. My original post now quietly unexpired

        • Thanks mate. I noted that too and its working with desktop even. I might unexpire it too.

          • @Tin man: If that product is still a deal, go for it. Hamza (mod) is talking with HP so could make a call if to unexpire it for you

            • @TheLurker: Its still a deal. I added an edit note and changed the expiry date. Hope thats ok. Changed the link to main page too as it seems working with all devices. There are still good deals there as your original post. Thanks.

              • @Tin man: I'm hoping HP keep this site access open, so others can spot good deals like yours and share. I'll keep an eye on the site if something good comes up

  • Just a heads up that the 310 W Power Supply likely will limit your GPU options if you buy this and intend to upgrade to a much beefier GPU.

I priced together a system with the same or better specs as the HP system and the total came to $1374 including Windows 10 and a better case with a more powerful PSU thats 80+ for $1374 total

Appreciate your effort in doing this

      • +1

        Your welcome

  • Works on my phone but not my laptop

  • I can't specifically see it in the specs but assume a second storage drive can be added to this unit?

    • +1

I did ask this via chat service. The person confirmed that I can upgrade RAM and storage as needed.
He also confirmed that it would not void warranty even if we DIY as long as the parts are compatible and does not affect the system.

Thanks. That confirms what I discovered after my post. An older model had both a SATA and M.2 installed in same case.
Was debating between this one (690) and the 790, however purchased this one.
Price as in title still displays for me.
        Shopback 6%.

This video shows the internals of the PC with there being an extra SATA slot. Despite the video being the Ryzen version it's still the same inside.

      • Thanks. Did locate that vid after my post. Confirmed that there is a SATA slot next to CD/DVD drive.
Will purchase the next SATA deal that is posted on ozb.

      • That would be an AMD chipset motherboard which was manufactured for HP by some company. The Intel CPU release would have a different motherboard with an Intel chipset in this case so it won't be an identical motherboard. So you don't know whether there's just one or two SATA ports on the motherboard in that case.

  • how many drives can you add this max? I wonder if this is a better buy than those refurbished Dell optiplexes?

Is this a good deal or are the builds from techfast better value for performance?
