The deal that I've been waiting for! Based on previous ebay UK sitewide deals, this should work for Paypal gift cards.

Valid from 12:00 PM Friday 14 June 2019 (9pm AEST) to 11:59Pm, Saturday 15 June 2019 (** 16/6 8.59am AEST**).

Minimum spend A$91.79, maximum discount A$183.59. One redemption only!

* eBay gift cards
* Woolworths WISH gift card / WISH Gift Card
* All PayPal digital gift cards. Change the .com.au to .co.uk.

PayPal Digital Gifts eBay is now marked as away and can't process orders.**

    Keep getting this error when im about to check out,

    I made the uk ebay account, i set my address in new york and my AU mobile number (didnt get text for confirmation). then i add my AU address and set as primary.
    What did i do wrong?

    Alright, people with address issues…

    I fixed mine by not using Google Autofill. Start typing your street address in the box and wait for it to show suggestions. Then select the one you want and save it.

    Now, the next problem for me is "Sorry, we can't complete your checkout at this time. Please try changing your item quantity or check your account status". Yet, it lets me logout and log back in just fine.

    Well, shit.

    Update: So, it let's me buy other products but not the gift cards. Oh well, at least I tried…

    Officeworks are selling $100 and $200 physical eftpos gift cards with a $6.95 fee. The $200 works out to be $186.25 after discount and the $100 works out to be $96.25.

    Last time this deal was on through Ebay Spain, I didn't get the cards and was refunded. I bought 5 x $250 last night at 9:30 pm and am yet to see them come through. I'd imagine I'll get another refund and won't get the gift cards.

    Wish card received. But the fine print says: The Woolworths fuel offer is not available on activation of this eGift Card.
    Does it mean it cannot be used in Woolworths Caltex? Or the 4c offer is not available automatically?

    Has anyone tried to use them in Woolworths Caltex?

    It is not surprising eBay has finally figured out, an easy solution to prevent people capitalising on these types of international events, by just placing PayPal digital gifts offline.

    I am hoping this is isolated, however if we see them become back online straight after this promotion, it’s probably a clear indication of what is to come. I know anyone bothering to read the 7th page of Ozbargain comments, is likely like myself, and regularly invest their time in never paying RRP for anything, and this will come as a blow.

    For a few people asking, yes a lot of us have accumulated multiple UK, Spain, US and Italian accounts for deals like this. Having these established accounts make processing these transactions very quick, and relieve a lot of the issues many are experiencing.

      There is PayPal call centre no. Do you think it's worth calling them? The PayPal website states that call or email PayPal if cards from PayPal Digital not received within 24 hours.

        I agree, Ozbargain is here for everyone to get the best deals, but it’s a double edged sword, the more mainstream this activity becomes the more likely it will be stopped.

      Yeah that's all good but as long as others realise it's against eBay's terms to have multiple accounts to get around buying restrictions. There's still a risk there for account suspension and loss of gift card credit.

    Used option 2 and used a UK address to sign up and set AU address as primary. Got a confirmation from both eBay and PayPal. I bought only physical items in AUD (did not buy gift cards). Fingers crossed it has all worked.
