PLUS99

Here's the full list of products available in the first slot of 10am Saturday in eBay's Plus weekend sales. These will go fast. Also with all the talk of poor value for money with eBay Plus membership, consider you can easily pay off your subscription with one of these purchases. In my opinion, great value for money. Don't forget there's also 15% off Plus Items with code PLUSWKND. Enjoy :)

    • Not worthless if you get it with a deal like a free google home mini..

  • Oral-B toothbrush for $1? Do they have one available or are they like cheap printers these days?

Can't fart without getting downvoted it seems!

    • what's that smell?

    No $0.99 ps4 pro ?

    • That’s a protected species never goes on sale .

  • Are we getting discounts off these prices or are these prices for plus members

  • Bonds Men's Everyday Trunk $0.99

I know price will reflect at 10am but any link to check now? Also, can add more than one to cart?

  • AEST??

        Age/ethnicity/sex…. Whats T?

        Asking for a friend.

        • I don't know either, but I want to find out hence my answer.

          • +2

            @Pantagonist: Ticklish

            • @berger: Ok then. Thats a yes for me too. Oh wait. Will tell my friend.

          • -7

@Pantagonist: Aest stands for australalian eastern standard time

            As oppose to aedst

            Australian eastern daylight savings time

            • @xoom:

Aest stands for australalian eastern standard time

I'm aware that those Austral Aliens are in a different time zone to us, thanks.

So when does the eBay promo start?

              • @Pantagonist: Why sydney and melbourne persists with this daylight savings time shenanigans and yet them banana benders shot it down at least twice is beyond me.

Dont get me wrong. If dst is good for you. Then good for you. Why does it have to apply to everybody else?

                • +2

                  @xoom: Pretty simple answer really.

The closer you live to the equator, the less time difference there is between the longest and shortest days of the year which eliminates the need for clock adjustments.

NSW/VIC/SA/TAS/ACT are all exclusively in the southern parts of Australia so they are more affected by differences in day length.

QLD/NT are further north / closer to the equator so they don't observe daylight savings.

WA always argues about it because the state is spread over a large range of latitudes. The south could benefit from DST but the north doesn't need it.

Times for promotions that apply Australia-wide generally use NSW/VIC time because that's where the majority of the population lives.

                  Any other questions?

                • +3

@xoom: Having lived with and without dst, I am happier with summer sunshine up to 9pm as opposed to sunrise at 4am. Plus the cows don't get as confused.

                    @freakatronic:

Not to mention how much longer your curtains last.

            • @xoom: Typo? 38/Caucasian/Male/Yes.

              38/Caucasian/YES Interested/Yes.

              • @anonymoususer: I was asking for a friend what the T stood for in aest as per Nomadesque's response of yes for T.

Considering the number of people getting exited, quantities available, it will be interesting to see the comments around 10.30ish.

    • +6

Surely if lots of people are getting exited then that will mean there's more stock for other purchasers?

    • +2

TBH I'd be pretty pissed off if this "exclusive" sale was over in minutes.

I'm one of the idiots who got sucked into paying for Plus because the cancel page is a piece of shit (I cancelled straight away, then again right after I was charged, and neither time was registered in the system) which is deliberately misleading ("ends on March 20" actually means "next bill comes on March 20") and they make a policy of not sending you an invoice, just the receipt when they've already charged you.

If you try to challenge this, the (profanity) in the call centre belittle you and PayPal won't go near it because it's a related company. Great treatment for a 10-year buyer/seller on their platform.

I've gotten maybe $2 of value out of Plus, planning to grab something today so at least it's not a complete waste of money. Have otherwise completely stopped using eBay for anything, and try to avoid PayPal payment as much as possible. Absolute scum companies.

So do I need to be an ebay plus member to get the items at the above prices?

    • Need to be a frequent flyer member with a black american express card.

Also need to have organ donor in drivers license.

      • im an organ donor on my ozbargain referrals section

    • +3

Nah mate it's an eBay plus promo for those without it.

  • Anyway eBay plus for free?
    Trial or something?

  • +3

Not as good as the last year sales on the dyson, was selling for $599.

  • +2

Thank you TA. Your effort is our hero~

    • +5

      You need better heroes

      • Its going to be the new netflix series.

  • Thanks again TA! Wonder how long does M3s are gonna last for haha

  • +1

Is the 15% off code ontop of the prices listed above? like is the dyson $799 less 15%?

    • Why you do this :'(

  • FUUUU!!! Bought the Dyson v11 last week with the Goodguys' 20% ebay sale.

  • +1

So what's the actual link to the "landing page" ?

  • Is it only 1 item per person ?

  • That Dyson is going to go fast. Good luck to anyone that wants one.

Bought one a week ago from Good guys. They're a great unit.

    • +2

I got the Dyson V10 last year, $599 I think it was. Sold out in a few seconds

  • So just double checking as I am reading the comments and can't seem to find the T&Cs:
    - can I just buy 1 item out of all the $0.99 list or 1 of each? in other words, I can buy 1 x Oral + 1 x Bonds Zip + etc.

  • 6x Batch X Sangiovese 2016 McLaren Vale SA
    $30 + $10 delivery here

A better deal if you buy enough for free delivery.

    • Same store selling it via eBay :)

      • So TA, any advice on that landing page you mention - quite a few of us want clarification?

        Thx

      • Ahh. Makes sense I guess.

  • +2

More Dyson deals <yawn>. Anything that is effectively always on sale is obviously outrageously over-priced in the first place. Then again, the average Dyson buyer clearly has more money than sense.

  • To all the Dyson Experts here…

What is the difference between the V11 vs V11 Pro?

    Thanks

    • -1

      Non pro and pro.

    • +3

      Couple of extra attachments

  • +2

when the sales starts at 10am where do we find the codes?

    • On the landing page. I think.

  • wonder if this will be a Catch kind of sale - selling out in 2 minutes for most items?

    • my prediction came true - about half of the 99c items are now sold out

  • I am ready my friends

  • Can someone with an active and not-cancelled eBay Plus membership please load https://www.ebay.com.au/plusweekend and say whether it redirects to https://www.ebay.com.au/b/eBay-Plus-Offers-Deals/bn_71150781… ?

My plus membership is active but renewal is cancelled so I just see lots of links for "sign up for ebay plus" etc.

    • +1

      https://www.ebay.com.au/b/eBay-Plus-Offers-Deals/bn_71150781…

Yes. My membership is active and not cancelled and set for renewal late July.

Edit: Wait I don’t think I was signed in.

Edit 2: Even when signed in it redirects to the above URL.

    • Yes it redirects to the link you posted.

    • I have membership and it's telling me to start the trial for ebay plus still lol

  • This was hyped by Ebay pretty hard. Although there are some decent deals, such as the XM3s, most of it is junk

    • +1

They always hype these deals. They send the info to news publishers to reach a wide audience and then they only offer a small amount of each item.

  • Is it only 1 item per person ?

  • Pluscord is the code

    • Thank you!! Plus99 did not work on the Dyson for me. Pluscord did.

  • Where are the codes

  • -2

Managed to get the XM3's. Holy (profanity) that was the fastest I have ever bought something. Had the Paypal One touch thing ready and everything. Order confirmed, (profanity) YES!

    • (profanity)!

      • Oops

  • Thanks TA, got a pair of the XM3s

  • "Bonds Men's Everyday Trunk $0.99" link where?

  • Can't find a lot of the 99c items

  • +4
    • Still can’t find the men’s trunks…

  • Awesome!! got the sodastream for 99c.

    Good deal mate.

  • +1

Got 4 maximum 99c items: frypans, speaker, hot wheels, and drone!

    • where the code?

    • i got 4 items too because i got drunk with power and now im scared i wont be able to buy anything in the other sales lol

      • Haha i wondered the same thing but i think we should be ok seeing as it's a specific code for the 99c items. Wish i had realised the Sodastream was there too though, completely missed it after my 4 items :(

  • XM3s sold out in under 3 minutes, got a set though :)

  • +1

Got the Frypans for $0.99, awesome!

  • Can u only buy 1 thing at 99c?
Getting You already applied this code to an order

    Oh 4 transaction limit

    • 1 per transaction. 4 transactions.

    • 4 transactions per account for the 99c items.

      • +1

  • Got the V11 :)

  • +6

Amazon Prime Australia has priced match eBay Plus for the XM3s https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07H2DBFQZ/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_…

    • Lmao, that whole rush was for nothing. I got a pair off ebay, but sneaky from amazon.

    • thanks mate, used your link and scored one.

    • Cheers mate missed out on all the eBay stuff :/
