    hmm, buying 5xwish, 5xebay, no error messages in cart initially or after code is applied, but when i go to pay by paypal i login, it starts processing then errors and paypal option greys out saying "We ran into a problem and PayPal isn't available right now. Please select a different payment option."
    CC option is then still available - i can put a CC in and click 'Confirm and pay', but a few moment later i just get an error page saying something similar.

      Are you trying to purchase 10 gift cards at the same time? I believe the PayPal Digital Gifts store limits users to 5 gift cards every few days.

      Also ensure that your Registration and Primary addresses are set correctly, see my post above. Remove everything from your cart then log out and back in after making any address changes.

        ah i thought that only applied individually to each type of card, that may be the issue. will try again with only 5 total in one transaction. yep set correctly which is what got me past the 'To purchase a gift card , you need to have an ebay and paypal account' error in the first place to get to my 2nd error, so thanks twice!

              @ilovefullprice: none, not even in past 6 months. because i only just created the new ebay uk acc today, and because i went to make a large purchase, could ebay have put a limit on the new account? i didn't get any email about it though. sigh.. calling it a night now, but keen to know if anyone cracks this error for next time.

        You can have the Woolworth gift cards on multiple devices and across different accounts. Just punch in the gift card code and pin into the Woolworth Money app.

          Yeah its pretty handy as it updates the totals as you use them. Final step would be for them to generate a code you could scan at checkout. We can hope!

            @gadgetguy: I really wish they would make it possible to use gift cards via paywave, would be much quicker and less hassle than calling up the card and typing the number and pin in. The app is great for storing and managing them and I always choose WISH gift cards for that reason, but redeeming could be so much faster this way.

          fixed this error “This code can't be applied to your order” by going to settings->country->and changing it to “United Kingdom” and switching off “auto detect” country. Mine was setting it to Australia as “auto detect” was on. Changed it and was able to buy. I am using the eBay app on my phone if that helps

      When I use a credit card, most of mine don't work. But the one card that does work later returns a message…
      "Sorry, your recent payment for the item(s) below did not go through. Please return to eBay to send your payment again."

      I still can't pay even after starting a new eBay account & clearing cookies.

    Plenty of people sell left overs for 7% in the classifieds, it's the first time it worked for me.

    Remember minimum spend is £100, when I tried to buy $150AUD it wouldn't work due to not meeting minimum requirements.

    I'm tempted to buy another 2 X $200

    I don't even know if I need $900 in gift cards ATM, however it seems pretty easy to sell them if need be.
