  • Are these the same as https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/473602 but with the addition of wireless charging? Thanks.

    • +1

      Yes.

    • +2

I ordered one from last deal, they still not send it out yet.

      • I've not received any message from you or any comments on the deal to say that!! If you can give me your order number I can see what's happening.

        • Me too. Still waiting for mine.

          • @anamul: Has it been sent or are you still waiting?

            • @Clear: I think sent out. It was supposed to arrive within 5-8 days from 28 July but didn’t receive anything yet.

              • +1

@anamul: Shipping times are always an estimate and you would have received a tracking number. I'll follow up with Geek.

            • @Clear: My order number 4983946

              • @anamul: I checked your tracking and it says that it arrived in Sydney 2 days ago. Auspost shouldn't be too far off from delivery now.

                • @Clear: I don't know what info you checked from Auspost but my auspost tracking code said it's approved on 4th of August nothing else.

                  • @anamul: Does your tracking end in 507?

                    • @Clear: ….77553801000931507

                      • @anamul: That's the one. If you use 17track you'll find that a whole history of tracking. Most recent event is that it's been picked up from the airport.

@anamul: I can see what the issue is now. Click on Australia Post under "China" and search for UBI and it'll show the information. 17track has incorrectly detected it as Auspost.

          • @anamul: Got mine today, they sound fantastic for the price and pairing was also super easy

        • How's the audio clarity for phone calls with these?

          • +1

@dealman: The same with all of them, okay in quiet places, useless otherwise

          • @dealman: It's a $30 wireless earphone - don't expect it to be professional-grade audio, but you can hear it clearly enough.

        • My order number is 4983899. I will appreciate if you can send out the wireless charging one.

          • +1

@Unity55: Thank you. I'll follow it up with the GeekBuying staff and see what the go is!

            • @Clear: Thanks. see if they can swap to wireless one for me.

              • @Unity55: Sent you a PM. The order had already been sent.

        • +2

          My order is 4983968
Tracking shows nothing since auspost approved the information 10-11 days ago!

          • @sanerr: My order is 4985554.
My order is the same, shows nothing, says auspost approved on the 4th/08.

  • usb type c ?

    • Micro USB.

      • +7

Gahhh! Hit me up with some good entry level usb c buds and I'll be in!

    • It's got Qi wireless charging, you needn't plug them into anything if you have a cheap wireless charger lying around.

  • I've just ordered a pair after sadly losing my other bluetooth earphones, thanks for sharing!

  • Any discount for t2c?

  • What's the difference between TS2, T2S, and QS2? They all look the same

    • +1

QCY T2C and QS2 are the same but intended for different markets. The T2S is the T2C with wireless charging added to the case.

      • @Clear any discount for the t2c?

        • Not at this moment sorry.

        • I spoke too soon. Last deal should work again as they found some excess stock.

  • I'd also like to know if you can discount the non-wireless charging pair, the T2C.

  • Do these sound any good?

    • I got mine last Monday & I am loving them. Very good value for money as they sound pretty good.

    • Great for very cheap earbuds

    • Define "good".

  • Which better this or Xiaomi Airdots?

    • +4

I have airdots and really don’t like them. They connect between each other poorly and sometimes you have to google how to reset them to fix this. They come out of the case awkward and go in and sometimes don’t charge. They also don’t allow for skipping songs. I paid $70 and was really excited only to find out they weren’t up the normal quality I would expect of Xiaomi

      • thanks for the info, I may jump on this deal then.

  • Are these good for making calls?

    • Yes my question as well, how about mic clarity ? Can anyone who has bought before explain please.

      • +5

I bought the T1C last deal, assuming the mic hasn’t changed.

It’s simply too far away from the mouth to be useful. In a quiet indoor room, it’s acceptable but still not good. Anywhere else and the other person won’t hear you.

For music/podcasts while exercising or lounging around the house they’ve been great for me, but if you want to make a lot of calls, don’t bother.

    • +3

They are quite bad. I tried a few times and the person said I sounded very quiet and very far away

  • I got these just to leave in my office
They are more discreet then wired ear phones

The blue tooth can be a little jumpy at time with the connection but they are rather comfortable in my ear and for $31 they arent bad.

  • -4

Said it before and will again, awful sound on these.

    • +6

I got the previous model, I think they're great for the odd $20-$30 they cost.

    • Any recommendations at this price point?

      • +2

        definitely these

      • +5

Was a big fan of the QCY's and had a few sets. I have now switched to the Haylou GT1, as they go alot louder. I found the TWS QCY's were just too quiet on my Samsung S9+. Same price point. Easy to buy from Aliexpress.com. About $27, for my last set.

        • Haylou battery life doesn't have great reviews though, how do you find that aspect of them?

          • @spiff: Totally fine, the little battery charging case will charge them a number of times.

        • Had the same volume issues on my S8+, I managed to fix this by turning on "Media volume sync" under Settings > Bluetooth > Advanced

          • @Chillzy: Thanks for the tip, but I saw this same comment on Ozbargain before, tried it, and it made no difference. Thanks tho!

    • In what way are they awful?
You must have either very high expectations, a bad batch, a bluetooth issue, or bought another model.
The sound quality is very good on both sets I own, and for $30 they are excellent.

  • Any way I can use these with my iPod classic?

    • Maybe if you stick a Bluetooth adaptor in the 3.5 jack

      • You wouldn't be able to pair these to anything like that anyway.

      • Thanks, I'm a bit old school, maybe I'll wait til my iPod dies and consider upgrading then look at these headphones.

  • damn it i bought the T2C from the last deal. I should have bought this for a couple dollars more

    • Have you got yours yet? I have ordered one from last deal too.

      • Still waiting

  • FYI. I bought T2C from last deal which arrived yesterday. I live in Sydney.

    • Which deal was it?
The one from couple weeks back?

  • Any good deals on over-the-ear ones lads can recommend? I'm using it at home, primarily avoid disturbing others while listening to music (good bass is a +) and movies.

  • Thanks OP! Perfect timing as my current pair of headphones broke.
Not expecting much for $30, but to get a true wireless set of earbuds is fantastic.

  • has anybody found ear tips for these headphones that actually allow them to charge with them on? i bought some memory foam tips and they don't fit and i don't really like the silicone tips

  • So how do you charge the case anyone know?

    • Qi Wireless Charger or Micro USB.

  • Decent price but last time I purchased from Geekbuying they didn't ship my product for over a month and took 3 weeks for someone to get in contact with me for a refund.
Customer service was terrible. I wouldn't waste my time again

  • +3

Are these ok to be used under a motorbike helmet? If so, would it be able to use the google assistant?

    • +2

      I'm thinking the same thing

    • +2

      ahhh..curious too about this one.
Also if they are a suitable fit for running

    • +2

Depends how comfortable your are with limited hearing, they have a fair bit of sound isolation if you get a good fit. Then add in your music and you won't be hearing much from around you. They are slim enough to fit under a helmet though if that's your only worry.

  • Anyone know if parcel locks are ok with Geekbuying?

    • +1

Yeah they're fine. It goes through the Auspost network once it reaches AU.

  • +1

    Are they good for running?

    • +1

I just got mine the other day from the last deal and yes they are good for running. Fit securely for me, and are light enough they don't fall out as you run.

The sound quality is decent too (a bit lacking in bass, but not terrible at all) and they sound isolate well.

  • just ordered 3 for the family :)

  • thx op!

  • Are these In-Ear? I can't tell from the pics and product specs.

    • +13
      • +6

I checked Specsavers but they don't sell earphones.

But yeah I just found out that earphones are in-ear by definition.

        • :D

  • Can you pair them to +1 devices ? All the convenience is gone when you cannot easily switch from phone to tablet

  • got my t1 from the recent deal and sound is very choppy on my pixelbook but on pixel 3 xl it's good. weird.

  • Ohhhh dam I wanna get me a pair of these. I just need my JBL Duet NC to sell first then I can pick em up.

  • Pretty sure it's cheaper on AliExpress but not sure it's the same, a quick search for this item listed several at or around the $26 mark.

    • Add GST to AliExpress 😉

  • @Clear I think my QCY-T2C Charging Case may have some issues? According to the User Manual "LED on the case blinks green when charging and turns solid green once topped up". I suspect that my LED indicators are not working even when connected to different inputs and cables. If there is a faulty aspect, how do I contact customer support for replacement?
