        Thanks, just pulled the trigger!

  • Questions:

    1. How quiet this is build as I really want a rig that is as quiet as possible.

    2. I want a RX 5700XT, so should I buy this now and sell away the RTX 2080 or wait for Luke to come out with the RX 5700XT model??

    Thanks.

      1. Not quiet. These are budget builds, not quiet builds. If you’d like a quiet system you’d have to either customise your own or buy a specific build rated to be quiet.
      2. Wait for 5700XT, makes no sense to buy this deal and get rid of the GPU. You’re better off just waiting for the 5700XT deals and skipping a step.
      • Many thanks.

Which would you prefer mate? What's most important to you, the PC being quiet or getting the best value?

  • hey luketechfast you guys dont take paypal?

    • +1

Not on the site mate. Fees are prohibitive.

      • how long will this deal last for?

  • I like the 3600 build, but both of the cases are awful. Much prefer a more simple case with no LED's or clear parts.

    • OK mate

I asked the store what brands all the other parts where but they couldnt really give me any solid answers . So I dont really know what Ill be getting if I order this:

I asked this shop what brands the PSU RAM, Mobo etc would be and they couldnt really give me direct answers.
He listed brands that some I havent even heard of:

    Good Afternoon!

We are unable to guarantee the type of brand that will be in your system, as it relies entirely on current stock management. That being said, I will leave all the brands we use below for your convenience

RAM: TeamGroup, Crucial, G.Skill, other TechFast-approved brands

Motherboard: Usually: Biostar Occasionally: ASUS, AsRock, other TechFast-approved brands

Power Supply: Bundled 550W and 750W: Allied, TechFast-approved
850W 80+ Gold: Antec, Thermaltake, Corsair

Graphics Cards: Galax, Biostar, ASUS, MSI, Colorful, Inno3D, other TechFast-approved – all used as often as each other

Solid State Drive: Usually: Allied Occasionally: Western Digital, SanDisk, Crucial

Hard Disk Drive: Usually: Seagate Barracuda, Western Digital, Toshiba

Mate, "the store" has an active rep on Ozbargain.

All this info is available on their website, right there, linked in the post above. Not sure why you felt the need to ask them for the list when it was literally right there?

That's Techfast's whole business model, that's how they're able to offer these deals at such great prices. They use whatever they've got on hand.

  • Is monitor included?

    What if I want 1TB M2 drive?

    • Monitor not included, can add on for $169.

If you want a 1TB m.2 Drive you'll need to purchase and install it separately.

  • Uhh If I buy the R7 3700X and 2080 what would I need to upgrade or change to use it w/o having to worry about anything?

So far is RAM speed $40 upgrade to 3200hz?

    Motherboard to B450?

and PSU or is it decent?

    • PSU you could live with would definitely go B450 and 3200 ram

  • +1

When selecting 16GB 3200Mhz RAM, the cost shows $40 but in the cart it converts to $69, please fix it.

    • $69 is the new price due to a supplier price increase and available model change. The 32GB prices have come down however.

      • +1

I think they were mainly asking for it to be fixed, so there weren’t two different price listings. $30 is a pretty big jump though, almost doubling the price.

        • Yep it's been fixed too. Caching issue. RAM is volatile at the moment, need to ensure we don't make a loss if price jumps as it has been on supply end.

  • does anyone know when this deal ends

    • No plans to expire it just yet but that could change according to stock availability, price fluctuations etc.

  • Any 3900X in stock?

    • Not yet but soon I think.

  • Is the upgrade AMD B450M Motherboard a MSI brand mobo?

    • Mostly Gigabyte, DS3H.

  • I upgraded the mobo and ram to 32GB DDR4 [3200MHz] and the price became $NaN.00

    • Was it actually NaN??

  • 2400mhz ram, B350 board, 240gb ssd you would want to upgrade all of that and probably in that order.

You won't get the latest throttling and auto overclock features on a B350 board and 2400 ram will leave a lot of performance on the table.

  • 11 business days and still waiting for my order to ship..

Luke can you please see if you can expedite this order?

    • Can you PM your order details?

      • 17032631, New account so I am unable to pm

        • Thanks. It's in the final stages of testing right now so should ship tomorrow for you.

          Luke

          • @luketechfast: Right, thanks Luke, i do hope so. This would mean 14 business days before being received.. Is there anything extra you can add in as a form of sweetener for the extended delay? I'm a little disappointed to be waiting this long.
            Cheers

        • Yeah. Would love to know what your sweetener was. I think I waited 3 weeks or almost 3 weeks for mine. To the point where my original computer started behaving lol.

Just tried to set it up now but, so far I have no drive bays to install additional hard drives and can only access one HDMI port after adjusting because the case is in the way.

Hopefully will get sorted but I feel a little cheated. The disappointment is REEEEEEAL.

    • More like Tech Slow aye?

      • It's not a Canadian company

  • The Ryzen 5 deal seems to come extremely close price wise to the 3600+5700XT deal, any suggestions which is the better system if all other upgrade options were changed to the same?

  • New deal for 3600 + 570 or cheapish gpu for work purposes please would be great. Something like below. Pretty please ;)

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/471740

  • Now showing as $1899 with code applied.

    • The regular 2080 has been replaced with the 2080 Super (regular 2080s are no longer available), so the deal as it was is now $100 more. I will notify the mods.
