  • I ordered at 2:20pm on Sunday. Order is still "In process". Clicking on the order gets me to a screen that says "In Process" estimated delivery 20th of August. Earlier this morning it was 404ing but seems to be Ok.

  • I called to see if I could change the black pair for white since mine is still "in process" and was advised the supplied does not supply white. Could be a different supplier…

    • To be fair, it's closer to ivory/silver than white anyway ;)

      • When I called I asked for silver but she corrected me and said it was white or black. I've contacted them again to see what they say but at this point in time I would be happy with either.

    As noted above, I think it wise for the OzB community not to bombard Qantas with enquiries about their orders, however, on the same token, would it hurt Qantas to send out a short email to customers simply saying "we are currently waiting on more stock to arrive"? You'd think this would be Internet Retail 101 stuff, particularly given 5 business days have now elapsed.

      So by the sound of it, Qantas Store might not honor the order :(

      there's nothing to suggest they will or they won't honour, all they are saying is that they don't know…not surprising.

      let's keep the teacup storm free in the absence of definitive information.

      the lack of updates is annoying (and outside their terms) but whatevs, not surprising given qantas shopping is effectively a dropshipping operation with outsourced suppliers

    I just got an email from Qantas telling my my order has been delayed. Delivery was due 19th, now 23rd

    • Same here, mine has also been delayed until the 23rd. But good news is that it sounds like it won't be cancelled (hopefully)!

      On the same day I ordered the earphones, I placed a separate order through the Qantas Store for a different item, but also used the promo code. That item was delivered today, despite being 'due' on 21/8. I didn't receive any notification it was coming, in fact my order history says it's still "In Process".

      Let's stop hassling them and be patient. I'm quietly confident the orders will be processed.

  • No updates from Qantas at all on my order. I ordered on 12 Aug ~3am so would have been one of the last ones. The order history is still saying estimated 20 Aug. Hmmmmm.

    I got an email saying delivery is delayed to 23 August, but on the Qantas website it is showing 9 September?! Anyone else getting this?

    Mine is still saying Processing, Aug 20th. Doubt I'll receive them by then. Not fussed, I'd rather wait and get them than not get them at all.

        Like 1:30 am on the 12th of August. Yeah I hope not, I'm sure their systems are robust enough to not have oversold the product. Patience is a virtue!

  • Just curious anyone expecting delivery today or tomorrow as originally scheduled? Surely many of us received a delay notice, but some must be on schedule (unless they were never meant to be in stock for dispatch).

      I've got my tracking number but all it tells me is that my parcel is coming. No scans that it has left or reached any areas yet. Am hoping it arrives in the next couple days but have to wait until it scans as being somewhere. I can only hope it scans tomorrow as being in Brisbane and on-board with driver. :)

      • I ordered 2 pairs and used 2000pts for each pair, and paid the balance by credit card.

    • So they don’t even let you pay the difference and get the buds for $271.

      What date and time did you order?

      Unfortunately,this is happening. I mentioned this possibility a week ago, when many believe it won't happen. They'd rather believe Qantas would not care about the 10%. Hope there are still some lucky ones got their pairs. This is what will happen when ozbargainers keep checking their orders by contact Qantas and discuss the code . Wish next time we all learn the lesson.

        Plus whats to say the code is for staff only, current code on ebay is "PAPA20", does that mean its only for papa's over 20?

        If they have code that works for all then thats just laziness by them.

          If it’s only for meant qantas staff, then it should staff specific and linked to their qantas email address or staff number.

          It should also be one-use only codes that the website will reject once it has been claimed.

            @zzzman: in theory big YES.
            in reality they have "reseved many rights" which always good for them.
            at the end of the day, just a pair of earbuds, anyone get it—-lucky, order get cancelled—-not a big deal at all, next bargain is on the way.

    I bet there some idiot on Ozbargain thats called because of the original 20th delivery date and bugged them out. Bravo Bravo

    Once sold something on ebay that i know was going to an ozbargainer. One and a half week for delivery (out of my hands) and they were yelling.

    • Sometimes the level of entitlement with some people just astounds me. I will gladly wait out something if im getting a great price for it.

      But no. For some they not only want the best price but they also want you to bend over backwards to get it to them.

      Yep there was a poster earlier that called up and discussed that they had forgot to add the promo code and wanted a deal, that's the type of stuff that gets orders cancelled
