  • Tempted.. The bat phone needs an upgrade. Does this has band 28?

    • Same…Have a Xiaomi Note 3….spec wise its nice, better than xiaomi for same price point

  • On a side note - is there actual Australian Warranty on these…because then I get extra extended warranty through my credit card :)
As the model number is the Chinese version I think

  • +1

Got oneplus 7 8gb/256gb variant.. Happy that I am paying only $611 for top specs.. Camera not that impprtant.. Basic pics should be fine. Thanks OP.. Wanting to buy S10 but couldn't justify the price…

    • I thought they fixed all the camera probs with a software update, no?

      • Yes they have. But I meant to say wide angle and 10x zooms are not important.. For a normal user the camera on phone should be sufficient..

        • Right. Too bad they can't fix the lack of 3.5mm jack with an update.

Another factor pushing me towards the S10+.

Did you pay for any extra warranty with your OP7?

          • @CrankyCarrot: Nopes. Justbwent with standard 1 year warranty provided by seller. At this proce worth the risk.. And haven't heard much of quality issues with OP7

            • @bargain crazy: Ok, good to know. On the one hand there's the massive inconvenience of mailing things away to manufacturers as opposed to just going back to Officeworks, for example, and doing an on the spot swap (I presume they'd do that or a refund)…

…on the other there's the fact that we can't seem to buy great phones here, ie the OnePlus series - instead we get a huge markup on sub-par versions of phones, ie S10's with the cruddy Exynos processors and no dual SIM, or Moto G7's without the compass (I want that damn compass!). Why do we pay more and get less here?

That's been my experience this go-round.

Not in the least bit interested in switching to Apple though.

  • I ordered one but does anyone know if it hard to put the global software on it

    • +1

Looked at Oneplus forums, and it seems like 5 min job. Just download the global rom and go to settings and load the global rom. Just google "load global rom on OP7 forum" and u will get the results.

      • Thanks it does look easy i will try when i get the phone
