$0.01 cheaper if you buy them separately

    • Isn't your time per hour worth more than that though?

      • easier returns (when bought separately) if either device becomes faulty?
If the combined price is the same, whats the point combining it
two items in the cart VS one

  • +11

$76.45 seems a bit steep for an accessory head.

    • Why? The brush head for a Dyson is upwards of $160, this seems very reasonable for a fully functioning additional carpet head.

      • +2

$56 would be fair given the price of the actual vacuum

        • +1

Consider first batch and Airfreight postage, Carpet roller head cost is higher than $56. We will reduce the price once our cost is going down in the future.

            @Gearbite: So buy later?

This deal is a no deal

          • @Gearbite: Hi Rep,
When will you sell same discount price to standard eBay member, cheers

      • But it’s not Dyson is it

    • Yeah thats a crazy price, considering the price of the vacuum. Brings it up to V7 pricing. I have a V7, V11 and Dreame, and prefer both Dysons to this

      • +1

        prefer both Dysons to this

can i ask why? ergonomics? power? longer battery? because its a Dyson?

        • +9

The emptying mechanism on the v7 and v11 are much better as it ejects the contents. The dreame is just the bottom lid with a catch. The movement on the dreame brush head in terms of full 90 rotation each way plus flex/ext isn't very good. I can't get it to rotate and go flush to the floor to get it under the couch. So the dreame unit stays upright, which means it's at a slight incline angle which limits how far u can get it under furniture. Look at the picture. There's only 1 joint for flexion/extension and then a 2nd joint just above it for lateral tilt left and right. But no rotation . Both the v7 and v11 brush head has like almost a ball type joint which allows me to get it right under the couch as the vacuum unit itself can then be rotated into its side. There was no brush head with the dreame, until now. Battery on v11 is amazing. The small brush and crevice tool are better on the Dyson too. Actually all the tools/accessories are much much better with the Dyson

          • @Sammyboy: @Sammyboy Thanks for the detailed intro. May I ask how does dreame work in terms of sunction compare to v7 ? Dyson(v11) is good as it is 4x times more expensive then Dreame, do u think it does the good job if u see the price tag of Dreame?

            • +1

@Fvistr0: Dreame is good for the price if you don't need the brush carpet roller. The soft wood floor roller was not good for my carpeted house.

V7 emptying mechanism is waaaaaay better and the ergonomics and design of attachments is much better too. I use the attachments a lot around the entertainment cabinet and computer desk.

              Suction and battery seem similar.

If u pay the extra for the carpet roller, I would just get the v7

      • Keen to hear your feedback as to why you prefer the Dyson to this.

    • +1

You'd normally pay more for head…So I've been told.

  • +6

Price is not right for Accessory I think.

  • Anybody have a review on this vac? House is mostly carpet..

    • I got the vacuum during their last sale because of the good reviews.

I may have gotten a defected piece because it doesnt suck properly (I'm sure there a dirty joke somewhere). It only lasts for 2 seconds; then stops, showing only one red light even though its fully charged. Maybe because its a cheap brand, but that's what you get for not buying a Dyson instead which significantly costs more. I'm looking to get my Dreame replaced but don't know the procedure. Will start with getting a battery replacement hopefully that solves the issue otherwise I'll return/replace the whole thing.

One thing I would like to add is that I wasnt given an Au plug as it was advertised, so I contacted them on Ebay and was shipped one immediately. So their customer service is good.

      • Looks like battery is defect. Please let me know your ebay id by message so i can follow up..

      • I can vouch for gearbite. Ordered one of these last sale, received doa. Contacted gearbite and they replaced it for me no issues.

    • For carpet head, please check video Here

    • +1

It's good, I've had mine for 6 months now. No issues, and definitely comparable to the Dyson V7 I had.

    • You would be better of with a corded vacuum that has a mortised head.

  • It's time to crack for Dreame that I was waiting for carpet head. I was about to pay for dyson v10 for $799 (200off) and it was over midnight and afterpay promotion expired. I hope that Dreame will be working as reviews.

    • +1

Wont be anything as good as Dyson V10 however depending on your needs may work well for you at a much lower cost.

  • Thanks. Ordered the new carpet head, actually looks much better

  • +1

When both became 310 or less give me a msg. See you then

  • How does this compare to the Dyson V6?
My boss has told me to order a stick vac for the office (looking at the Dyson V6) so wondering how this compares for the price. Cheers

    • How big is office, IMHO i’d Get v11.

      • Not huge. Small real estate agency. 5 office staff + bunch of hot desks. Probably 100sqm

        • Remember that these dysons are designed to do more spot or quick cleaning, so probably have a quick vacuum every day vs a bigger one at end of week etc.

    • Bigger battery compare with Dyson v6, 60 mins eco-mode, 28 mins standard mode, 8 mins max mode.

  • What's the difference between this carpet head and the one originally bundled with the Dreame?

    • Soft roller head come as standard package.

      • +2

That doesn't answer the question… Let me try and rephrase it slightly…

What advantage does the new carpet head have over the soft roller one? I've found it does a pretty good job personally, even on carpet.

        • I only have a Dyson v10 to explain… but the carpet head agitates the fibres more and also picks up animal hair way better
I wouldn't even consider using the soft roller head on carpet

  • +1

    Thanks Dowey!

  • Gearbite, when will the next sale be on the Whale spout? I am sick of wiping my ass and this discount still only lowers the Whale spout to ~$420ish.

I picked up one of these, good price.

  • Can anyone share experience with using the dustbin?
The dustbin emptying mechanism looks similar to thr V6, which has been a painful hassle compared to the V7 and above.

    • +1

To empty the dustbin it's 1 click - easy and simple. Dreame is a great vacuum at a fraction of a Dyson cost.
Good support from guys at Gearbrite, mine came without Aussie plug, when I reported it they send it to me straight away, no questions asked.

Original attached soft roller head is not bad, can anyone comment how is motorised version better?
They both look pretty similar to me…
      Thanks.

      • +1

The Dyson V6 is one click to open the latch as well, but the hassle is that the rubbish is still stuck inside the dust compartment and have to scrape it. The V7 and above models improved it a bit by ejecting the compartment out.

So I guess the main concern is whether the rubbish still gets stuck inside the Dreame V9's dust cabinet when the latch is opened.

Damn, placed the order on Wednesday and paid for $20 more :(

  • +4

Just wondering If there a flexible hose that can be purchased? Kinda difficult to vacuum the car without that.

    • +1 would love a hose for this thing

  • I dont want to buy the whole head when I just need the roller insert…

    • Cannot change roller, as carpet head is totally different part due to different output and setting, it will perform much better as motor setting has been optimized.

  • Is the carpet head an official accessory from Xiaomi? Can't find anything on the net about it apart from Ozb.

    • +1

It is official accessories from xiaomi dreame. First batch was manufactured for us because we are the only one request carpet head. they did not list at website, maybe future.

  • Damn, my eBay plus ended a week ago, and I don’t see the point paying for another year. Hopefully there’s another decent coupon in the next few weeks (that’s better than the 5% off one).

  • +1

I got the dreame from an older deal and I have to say its an amazing product.
We use it extensively for cleaning and with our 2 cats, it has proved a blessing in keeping things free of their fur for the most part. Love the carpet head by the way.

  • Good for hard floors as well?

  • You mentioned about stocking replacement battery but I don't see how to disassemble the powerpack for this vaccuum. Any instruction or photo? And what is the price for replacement battery?

  • stil looking for some good reviews for owners with pets especially dog hair. so tempted to buy

  • Can you put this on amazon as I don't do EbayPlus?

  • Does anyone know what the difference is between the Xiaomi Dreame and the new Xiaomi Mijia handheld vacuum thats coming out/ has just recently been released? Apart from the obviously higher price tag because its newer?

Also curious to know how good the Dreame is with dog fur with my furbabies at home if anyone is able to assist with that!

    Thanks in advanced!! :)

  • How's the warranty handled? Where can I go if the unit has fault or any issues?

    • You speak to gearbite and they’ll deal with it

    • Send seller a message, they’ll ask for your email address to send you an auspost label (they pay shipping), they’ll fix/replace it and send it back. Very fast service, everything is tracked, and you don’t have to send everything, just the part that you have issues with.

  • +1

Would like to buy one but I am not a PLUS member (and don't intend to be one) if you were to list it on Amazon or regular eBay on this price, happy to pick one up

    • I have eBay plus and can help you out if you’re keen on buying

  • +1

10% off for non Plus members, today only https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/478910

  • Signed up for eBay Plus this morning, but I am not seeing $280.50 Delivered on the product page, which shows…
Buy it now price: AU $359.95 - AU $53.99 (from code PLUSAUG15)
    Your price: AU $305.96

Can the store rep show me how to get to $280.50 Delivered?

    • Hey there, unfortunately this price had expired and I didn't realise so just marked as expired. I heard this price might be coming back in the coming days so might just be worth waiting for a few days to buy it at this price.

      • Thanks. Thought I skipped some vital step. Was hoping to stack with $60 Shop Back from $500 spend. :(

        • Actually nevermind, it's here now :)

          • @doweyy: Sanity blow. Ordered from another vendor at 5:45pm.

            • @Snow Stockholm: Ahh that's unfortunate! Nevermind, it's still a good vacuum either way :)

              • @doweyy: If my triple stack (Aust Post eBay gift card discount, eBay discount, Shop Back rebate) goes according to plan, the final unit cost is $245.55. Still a win.
