  • That's cheap!

      Yeah, it's so cheap!

I bought the Pro version a couple of weeks ago for nearly $400 more. :'-(

  • Has Huawei ban from Trump been lifted? ie can Huawei Android be updated?

    • Trump gives huawei another 90 days and huawei didn't even ask for it.

      • +2

Get your fact straight, mate. Huawei has 90 days to sell. They can not buy from Google and plenty of companies (Panasonic, AMD, etc) at this moment. They are relying on the components stocked up before the ban and already estimated a heavy cut in smartphone production. The trade war is not going to end soon, and the ban will not be lifted in a near future.

In short, buying into Huawei is a huge risk now, especially for an 1k phone.

Sure if you choose to see the glass half empty, no problem :)

@BrianGriffin: Just want to point out the fact though, it is not a bright future as you trying to paint.

Huawei image as a brand has already been tarnished, so the re-sale value is also a concern. Just another point to put into consideration.

@davescott: Don't buy then :) surely people buy a product based on their own research not what me or you painted.

  • Wow $600 drop in just a few months…

    • You can find a similar saving on the S10+

You could port into Telstra on the JB deal and get the non-pro one for $199. Then you can cancel the Telstra plan for $390, which would be a better deal imo and not too hard to achieve.

    • Do I just do live chat online with Telstra to cancel the plan?

      • I think so, I haven't done it myself. Possibly port your number out first
